stormbound : kingdom wars

I used to play this and it was great! I reinstalled it and now I'm having this problem..for some odd reason I'm unable to place my troops down. Like I'll try and drag someone on the board but when I do the cursor moves three spaces ahead the line so I can't place anyone down. I tried unstalling then reinstalling but it's the same issue, any suggestions??

Great game for sure free to play, been playing since day one almost. Got my 12 yr to play and play online and with me, very cool. Some of the match making SUCKS even at 15 will pare me against levelx18 crazy . These people grind all day or pay, more pay I'd say by how the progression goes and cost to upgrade level 4 and 5, the the cost of Legendary. Like I said great game love it.

One of the best constructed card games on mobile/steam. Technically free to play but to stay relevant you'll probably (like me) want to invest in the ~$5/month for the "season pass" to get better rewards. Few strats remain a little broken but only at top level play, and devs do a pretty good job of regularly balancing.

it's very fun putting certain cards together and figuring out what works and what doesnt, although it can be annoying to lose because someone has better cards or has leveled their cards up more than you but it's more about strategy and skill than the cards your given, ads arent intrusive like most free games, I like the daily rewards system and i think its worth the download

This is a great game with the perfect mixture of luck and strategy. So many hours spent playing it with my friends! The only thing I personally think it lacks is the possibility to exchange cards with your friends. I think that would give the game that extra feature that would make it seriously epic!

Sweet. Great game! Engaging, the unexplained mechanics are fun to discover, the free advancement is encouraging, and doing well is rewarding. Super well designed, well balanced fights between other players.

Quick response from the devs; Ads loaded as per normal but error occured where 'something went wrong displaying the video' afterwards results in no changes to rewards after winning/ no changes to daily tasks.

It's a different card battler that feels unique ...love the simple artwork.. if your thinking to play or not...just give it a go you wont be disapointed

Only 4 different decks, would love more options. Otherwise very fun! 9/18 Update 2/21 Card selection is top notch! Loads of strategic deck building possibilities

It's a very good game very strategic but sometimes match never ends and then one has to concede plz set a timer to the matches otherwise i would have given it a 5 star review

Awesome game - the graphics is beautiful and the strategy is quite unique. Also it's heart-warming to see the devs read every review. I came to update that I no longer have a problem with the match-making. I found being matched with opponents with "maxed out" deck while not even getting out of silver/gold quite frustrating. If you're in my position, check out storm-bound kitty, and how to rank up fast. TL;DR - the fastest way to rank up in this game isn't to upgrade rarer, "expensive" (epic or legendary) cards. Reckless Rush manages to get to Platinum with 12 base health and a deck level average of 1.75 and Diamond with 13 health base and deck level average of 2.583 (you can google this for more details) I know this is somewhat exceptional, but it shows learning game mechanics is more important than how maxed out it is (to my frustration!) To rank up fast, spend your resources into upgrading common/rare fast - this allowed me to rank up from high silver to high plat in couple of months after being "hard stuck". There are still gripes and I'll leave them here: 1. Only 9 decks allowed 2. Can't change clan of deck (when it's for example, pirate deck ,which is out of meta, I have many neutral, but only a few clan-specific cards. I just want to be able to change it) This is very useful for the Brawl 3. 1 rank for all 4 clans (So I can't try other decks without "throwing") but there is an AI mode, and match-making seems to take this into consideration. 4. Every time I open Stormbound on PC (steam) it locks the PFS to 30. [irrelevant, but if you devs see it, please take note!] 5. Ironclad is a bit weak imo. Meta seems to favour Swarm or Winter heavily. 6. While it's one of the only games I'm happy to pay for, it's pay to win 7. Being an "indie" game, it doesn't (yet) have 5 million players like some other big famous titles do.

This game is very fun to play, but it has some issues. The matchmaking is unbalanced, so your opponent is usually a level above or below you. Another issue I had is that getting cards and in-game currencies takes a while, and the only way to get them sooner is to pay with real money. You can ignore this, but the in-game store is littered with "deals" and "offers" that all cost real money. Overall, a fun game, but too much pay-to-win stuff.

I wish I could give this game less than 1 star. The matchmaking is so bad, it literally makes the game not fun to play. This is the most unbalanced game I've ever played. When the majority of people you play are levels above you, and all their cards are 2-3 levels above yours, YOU CAN'T WIN. BASE SIZE IS IRRELEVANT, DECK IS IRRELEVANT... This game is bad. The devs clearly have no clue how to balance this game, or even make the search function useful at all. WORTHLESS CASH GRAB...

There're all things I try to find in games: good idea, F2P, graphics and balance

I like the game, but the fights are very unbalanced after the initial level. I just fought three matches where the opponent was 7 levels higher than me. Worse yet, you have to use in game currency for the privilege to get beaten that badly. Without some balance, I think a lot of people won't stick around.

The game is fun and addicting but before you download just know this is a pay to win game. Without purchasing cards or fusion stones etc. You will have a unfair disadvantage to people paying hundreds of dollars to upgrade cards beyond beating. Game balancing could be better.

Very good game, a sort of mixture between yugioh and chess with pretty cool graphics. Matchmaking has improved over time. One problem, the brawls are incredibly unbalanced. An opponent could have 16 base strength compared to your 10 base strength nevermind the card levels. I think you should make all base strength in brawls the same and all card levels the same for brawls to make it a bit more fair.

I find it very hard to say this, but the game sometimes gets really unfair since the opponent hogs loads of legendary cards to play in the game, and for those who don't have any, or has few legend cards, are not going to stand a chance. Suggest that you limit the number of legend cards in a deck, just to make sure gaming is balanced. Same goes for the matching system. I keep meeting players with high level cards. Like, the really ridiculous ones.

Unique and beautiful card game. It's genius in it's simplicity.

Great game, lots of possibilities, really cool visually. I think it would be great to have a statistics window in our profile (wining rate, most used card per class, average length of our games...). The solo gameplay is fine, but a bit short, playing offline may be redondant. The ranked part is cool

i have loved the game since i was in college. now that i have work and am about to buy something from the game, i considered something. I'm going to get married and I can't see myself playing the game in the long run, wasting money. because!! the matchmaking is too slow!! if only its easy to get bots or players as an opponent (i dont care) i will really stay and buy. nevertheless. i love the game. maybe its a goodbye.

higher powered games take longer so go ahead and remember that now!! for some reason I wasn't able to upload an older profile where all of my knights were level 5 and everything. I still spent some money because I love this game but it's unfortunate I can't get my stuff back. it was only like another 50 bucks worth of stuff but okay

I've been playing this game since it came out, and it's gone a positive direction over time. I do have two issues: 1. Economy. I've played long enough that obtaining non-legendary cards hasn't been a big deal. However, the game does have a microtransaction-based economy, with a battle-pass and lots of FOMO marketing. 2. Sometimes I lose because my turn ends early not because I didn't play fast enough, but because the animations for the cards took too long to resolve, which is ridiculous.

decent game. very strategic!! no ads at all!! major shout out for that! algorithm is a bit jenky......seems to be set to auto conditions win every certain amount of games. for example, play 10 games and then the 11th you win. every other time you are just about guaranteed to lose! good time killer though.

I would've given 5 stars if the match making isnt bad like I'd play against people with more leveled up cards and two I've fought against players who you can VERY tell they are p2w in short please have better match making dont call it skill issue the matching is just not fair. edited: I'm not taking nor giving a star but would like to say how your game handle connection issue is awful it won't let you play but let your opponent play and you can't even concede just kick me out at that point.

I just installed an update and now my account is gone. I was playing this game for half a year to barely reach some lvl 3 cards and gold rank, and my Google play account was connected, but now when I try to log in with it, it just starts a tutorial. Well, I guess I played enough

A very unique blend of luck and skill, this strategy game will keep u captivated, as you find your faction and grow with the cards.

Nice look and feel, balance tolerable although there are definitely some rare cards that are worse than equivalent commons. Of course it's pay to win but there are still enough low level players that it's fair ish. Nothing is totally paywalled if you're willing to play long enough (normal coins have a chance at rare cards). Skipping ads with the premium subscription is fairly expensive but lets you advance quickly.

I came back to this game after a few years, it doesn't appear Dave updated much, although a lot of the new cards are fantastic and the game is still very, very fun to play. it feels like the player base is not what it used to be and right now I'm encountering a bug where the game just stops doing anything at the last move before the game ends. it's happened like four times recently, and is frustrating because I don't even know if I won or not until I stopped the game and come back in..
