tiny room stories : town mystery

I usually don't pay for mobile games because I don't play a lot on my phone, but this game is very special. I like basically everything about this game. Art style, storytelling, gameplay. It's very intuitive and interesting. Puzzles are not too easy but also not that hard when you need to spend hours on one task. I am glad that I found this game. Thank you developers for such a nice job!

I don't like the approach that this game takes for revealing hints. In my opinion they could have done better, and I will share my user experience. When stuck on one puzzle I only want a hint for that puzzle. Period. I don't want to (1) watch an ad from the game only to (2) be kicked over to a tube site to (3) potentially watch an additional ad and then (4) watch the walkthrough which is just (5) one long spoiler video upon which I am forced to waste my data plan. Just give me an in-game clue.

Excellent game, immersion story, long game for the price. Beautifully designed. I originally played the free portion of the game a while ago and then switched phones. The game didn't reinstall when I synced my new phone, but 4 months later I kept thinking about the game and dug through my play store library and was able to find it. Great job

Absolute fantastic little "escape the room" style game. The story is short and interesting with the mechanics being perfectly incorporated in order for it to make sense. I have been caught out a few times with solutions that aren't very obvious, but the guide is easy to follow it you get stuck. Top notch!

Really fun..i was instantly hooked.. Even paid for the other acts... Worth it. I do however wish there were hints.. It just offers a walkthrough for the whole chapter. It'd be better if there were individual hints. Because the walkthrough sometimes gives away more than I want to know lol. All in all really fun game. I'm addicted Hahaha

One of the best escape room style games I've played in a long time. The puzzles are not "super" in-depth, but it's an enjoyable experience with enough head-scratcing to keep your mind sharp, with an intriguing story that pulls you into the mystery of Redcliff. I haven't competed all of the free chapters yet, but I have already paid for the full version of the game - at the price of a cup of coffee, I can already tell I'll get FAR more than my monies worth. UPDATE: Game complete - still happy!

Easily the best puzzle game I've played on my phone. The story line was weird and original. The puzzles were genuinely logical and very challenging at times. The only critique is that the graphics are a bit small if you have a small phone and as a lot of the puzzles require careful observation you can miss stuff. Never the less throughly enjoyed the whole game. Well worth paying for the whole season. Can't wait for a sequel.

now I want to get the full version, this has such an intriguing storyline! love the cute graphics design and the challenging-but-not-too-difficult puzzles. I'm tempted to watch a playthrough of the full version, but don't want to ruin the experience if I buy it later ???? def try this game out, it's honestly one of the best escape puzzle games I've played. just be careful not to get hooked (like me unfortunately, lol)

Great game that is worth buying the full chapters for. I love the simple graphics and the intriguing puzzles, although the story could have been better elaborated (there's a lot of confusion from the main plot in general but that's probably just me being meticulous). Overall if you decide to make games like this again, I will most likely also play it. Thank you for the hard work.

This is the BEST mystery/puzzle game I've ever played with a solid story and amazing puzzles. Though some puzzles are a bit difficult it's still satisfying when you solve them. And the best thing is that they don't bombard you with ads and you only have to watch ads after chapters or for a hint. Thank God the developers didn't ruin this experience with a ton of ads, really appreciate that.

it's a great game, and i ended the act 1 already. i agree to some comments about the game is very difficult where you'll find yourself having to watch clues on yt for every level. also, do we have to pay the game to be able to play through the rest of the acts??

Amazing game! One of the best puzzle ones I've tried so far. Most of the one star reviews are from people saying that the challenges make no sense, but I have to say these people just might not be very good at puzzles. I did not need the used of a walkthrough at any moment, you just need to use your logic in most of them. It is mentioned on the store that there are in app purchases too, so I don't understand why people complain when this is in fact the case.

SO GOOD!!! Far more superior to any other escape room app I've tried (and inevitably deleted after a few minutes of mind-numbing boredom). We played it on separate devices as a family (kids are 7u002610) which filled the live escape room void during quarantine. I should've listened to reviews saying buy the full game before you start the first chapter (but the ads are really short and only at the end of each chapter, BRAVO). We finished the first act and buying the game was was a unanimous decision.

Really great game, got to the end of the first chapter and now I will have to delete the game because I don't have the funds to continue, such a shame cause I think its a great game but I think its very misleading with not making it clear you will sit and waste your time doing the first act and them are forced to pay. Ads could have been included for those who can't afford to spend money of gaming apps so that it's accessible to all. Actually gutted, was really into the story line.

I wasn't sure at first what to think of this game, but with every chapter, I found I enjoyed it more and more. As a native English speaker, I can tell there are a few language issues from time to time, but the game is very playable and I got genuinely stumped on some puzzles, which I think is a great mark for a game like this. if you're looking for a fun game that gives your brain a bit of a challenge while not being overly difficult, this game fits that for sure.

Hey this is the first review ive ever left. Wanted to say 1) this game is very good. The puzzles are nice and head scratching enough to be satisfying but 2) THERES A RUBIK'S CUBE ON THE MAP SCREEN AND IT IS AN INVALID CUBE BECAUSE THE FRONT MOST CORNER HAS 2 WHITE SIDES??? WHAT THE HECK otherwise a very good game despite this glaring oversight

Really nice game experience!! Some chapters are pretty hard, so pay close attention to details! The great majority of puzzles are logical and fun to solve, there were very few that I just didn't get and had to use hints (which are walkthrough videos included in the chapters). Great graphics and music! Thank you!

This is a really fun and challenging game. Graphics and game play are really good. My only complaint would be that the developers need to add in in-app hints when the puzzle/clues become too difficult rather than having a YouTube tutorial.

Such an amazing game, chapters 2 and 3 are not free but i didnt even blink. Story is great, music is pretty ok, puzzles are pretty subjective but I found them enjoyable. For few dollars this is more worth than some ps4 games I played, it has flaws but I loved it.

updated for 2025 playthrough- WOW. I played way back when only act 1 was available. I just finished through the whole thing and damn. the perspective element, the maps, the story. immersive but not frustrating, and easy access no-baiting hints for complicated sections is so nice. I love this, and I'm so glad I found it to finish it though properly! the achievement list is great too!

It's such a fun game! It had a very engaging story, the visuals were very nice on the eyes, and the puzzles were very clever. Sometimes, the puzzles were a bit too difficult, and one or two hints weren't very helpful, but with a bit of time, I still managed to figure it out. I also really appreciate the amount of content you get because this game is quite long, and you only really need to watch ads when you need a hint. In summary, super addicting, absolutely loved it. Will play again!

I went ahead and paid a few bucks and it is well worth it. You get a few days of gameplay (unless you plow thru), the story is interesting, and for the most part the puzzles make sense. I was frustrated a few times with things I didn't see on the screen, and there are always a couple that will make you say "wut", but the hint system is well done with actual codes covered up until you click on them, so even after using a hint you still get a chance to figure it out. Great game for the price.

Overall an excellent escape-room-style game. Here and there some of the puzzles require a bit of guessing/randomly trying but overall they are logical. I personally would have preferred a plot without the "supernatural" part but I understand how it helps making the whole setting more plausible (e.g. empty buildings). I paid to support the developers and it would have been great to share the paid version with the others account of the family group, but it looks like this is not possible.

Great concept, highly engaging and visually lovely. However, some clues for visual/pattern puzzles are literally upside-down or exactly the opposite than they're presented in order to solve the puzzle. It's quite frustrating to set everything exactly right according to clues, only to find that it should be the exact opposite. Also, some code clues are ridiculously unintuitive or make no sense. Password is the number of cans and bottles in a closet or a phone number on the billboard? Come on...

Because I was used to other puzzle adventure being "full screen", I wasn't so sure about the"tiny room" but honestly speaking, this is the BEST puzzle adventure game I've ever played!!!! One thing I really love is the fact that it is OFFLINE. The puzzles are really mind bugling; it gets your mind working which is really good. I also love how realistically cartoonish the graphics looks (pardon my English ?)... I can go on and on. This game is deserving of this 5 stars and more.

I never review, but here I am! Worth playing this game. Puzzles are great, but as another review said, it is really confusing how they got to the conclusion of some puzzles. 99% of the time, no hints are required at all! Didn't buy additional chapter so can't say on that. Only time you get ADs is when you use a hint or complete a chapter.

Fantastic little puzzle game, definitely one of my favourites! Absolutely love the isometric environment design, the world feels so interesting with little details. And the puzzles are logical but challenging enough to feel really satisfying. The plot is also really interesting, tho I would love to see some more oneshot type cases like the bonus case!!

Game is ok at best in my opinion. it goes from 3D to 2D and items get smaller the further you get in the game (which is bad for mobile). Plot is so-so, after completing it, it left me with a "that's it?" ? i would give it 4 stars but the game has links to Instagram and Twitter that open your browser when touched and they're disguised as part of the game.

Loving Tiny Rooms! Best hint system I?ve seen; it doesn't just give answers, it guides you through the logic and even moves you to the right spot if needed. Super accessible and lets me focus on solving what I enjoy. The story sets the scene nicely enough, and the controls are smooth. Way more content than I expected with several rooms and acts. Can?t beat it with Play Pass for free. Great way to spend my downtime and curious to see where it goes!
