Aite so I've played few other massive grinding games. But those games at least allows you to grind to get what needs done. Paying only gives you an advantage or chances to get a better monster. But this game, some of the things you can't get or do if you don't pay. Slow leveling, building, unobtainable characters etc. In a way they are really trying their best to squeeze you to a point that you will pay to play.

Complex, challenging, go at your own pace. Graphics are incredible. Lots of activities and challenges to choose from. Sounds will make you smile, music is perky without being distractive. Quality of the app and entertainment is up to my expectations of Dreamworks solid reputation and expertise in delivering stellar products.

This game is fun there is alot of paid packs with alot of nice dragons you can obtain however you cannot use those dragons in PVP or events.. They basically just sit on the island to get fish or wood. There is not much point in spending that kind of money if they dont have any other perks . please make them avalible for battles then they will be more worth the money

It would've been more convenient if we can buy iron like runes, fish, and wood since it is also part of resources. It takes a really long amount of time to get a decent amount of iron either it may be on journey or iron collection. Since upgrading our dragons using iron doesnt give a 100% success rate at valka's sanctuary. Game might be 5 star overall but the iron is the problem since it is so frustrating to gather that's why Im only giving it 4 star :)))

My favourite thing about this dragon game is the very cool gaulents that give u money or a new dragon, stuff that u need for the collection for buy new Dragon's or costumes for certain dragons like toothless's gang . It's nice to play but you are being encouraged to buy overpriced items on every corner.. It's like a giant mall, most notifications and icons lead to things you have to buy for real money. Takes the fun out of it.

I am fond of this game's mechanics and graphics and I am a fan of How To Train Your Dragon and Ludia for their magnificent games such as Jurassic Park Builder,Jurassic World The Game and Jurassic World Alive. Unfortunately, this game keeps crashing when I try to use the app. Please fix this issue as I cannot play your game peacefully without crashing several times

I like this game but the higher you go the more bored i get. Its harder to get things and cost more to feed the dragons. Its getting to the point im only playing it now because i have spend so much money on it.

I've been playing for over a month now and I'm in love, although the higher levels you become the longer time you have to wait for things so the less you can play, but you always get new dragons and new things without having to buy anything!

It's incredibly hard to get fish. And nearly impossible to do anything that needs fish, especially to level up dragons. The price for fish is ridiculous. I paid for the monthly riders, not worth it. I used to love this game, but now it is impossible to do more than one thing a day once you get your dragons to higher levels. One thing I do like is the brawl where you fight other dragons. One tip: Don't open your packs in the brawl. If you don't have room for new packs you get 90,000 fish.

The game sucks. The graphics is nice the gameplay...although lacking some things but overall is good. But the problem is that the game redownloads it's contents every single day. I don't know if it's my device or not but it just keeps on redownloading it. Even sometimes it redownloads it twice a day. It keeps redownloading until my device has no more space.

Like that is a one of a kind game it is soo nice but u guys do put a low amount of ruins in one pack u must make a pack with minimum 50 ruins to maximum 200 ruin , and remember to put at least 1 dragon in every day pack that is for free and also light fury takes too much time in exploration like it is a waste of time using her. And also make sure to lower the price of the dragons it is sooo expensive. And u said that I can train whatever dragon I like, and I actually wanted a skrill and hookfang

Both of my boys love playing this game! But we recently got new phones and now only one is able to play his account. The other transfer was messed up and he can't even play on his old phone because it has new account on it. Now I can't even get a reply to my email. I just want him to get his hard earned progress.

I was very skeptical at first, but it grows on you. Its fun seeing these dragons around, and actually developing a world for them to live just like in the movies. Love the idea and I hope it continues to expand.

My kids LOVE this game, but after buying a $90 subscription, my kid gets into the game with NONE of the animals she bought $20 each using her birthday money, I might add. She pumped a year of savings into a digital world despite my discouragement and now we cannot get contact with the game, so she paid $90 for two months of use. I cannot tell you how many daily log ins and battles she worked through only to lose the account access all together. You cannot contact these people if you have a problem, I promise you that - been trying since September 2020

Great fun to play with many features and ways to play, kid friendly and kid friendly ads, but it crashes all the time, and don't think because you pay for something it will stay in your account, I've had to start from scratch three times and I'm linked to my Facebook account.

Overall, I definitely recommend this game for anyone interested in the How To Train Your Dragon movies, or just looking for a relaxing game to play when bored. This game definitely meets my expectations based on what it advertises. New features, Dragons, quests, etc. appear often, so you're never bored. Surprisingly enough, I have not found any major tech issues or glitches to the game, so that is a huge plus. Definitely recommend.

I. Love. This. App. The game is updated every few months to keep it feeling fun. The graphics are fantastic and so is the gameplay. I don't see why people are so upset about how the game is too P2W because the game actually is pretty generous with giving free stuff. This game requires patience and is perfect for those that love a challenge and monotonous grinding. I've gotten to the end of the game and haven't payed a single dime. Overall I highly recommend playing, especially if you love HTTYD!

It is a great game and i am glad i got it back. It is my fav mobile game of all time. The graphics on the dragons are pretty good,but they need to work on the graphics on the vikings. They also need to fix the part where enemy dragons get extra turns in brawl and gauntlet. With these minor details it is still a very good game.

The whole chance system in this game is a complete scam. Journey wheel is a scam. Not a fair percentage. There is a 95% chance to land on food or wood. Mathamatically this proves this is a scam. Valka sanctuary is also a scam. The chances of being able to evolve are rediculous. It always lands on the little portion that wont evolve your dragon, just so you waste more time and money doing it. I can't financially support a company with scammy morals, especially when the targeted audience are kids.

Honestly, the whole "let's add the Night Lights to the game" is pretty great, but why would i waste 75k+ runes just for them? i mean, at least make them accessable by journeys (journey-search dragons are very hard to get since there's 'no increase catch rate' system) either done by the Light Fury or Toothless, the Night Lights' PARENTS. it's already a fuss to access the Light Fury since you need to be a Dragon Rider first. And probably won't be permanent either if i lose my "VIP".

For me... game is really great. However, as mentioned before, game has some issue. For example, my dragon TL goes to regular investigation. When he come back home, I'm not able to open backpack as system automatically close game. Any options how to solve issue? By when new update will be available? Either where I can upload last update to overlap current one.

There're so many things that need an update (the brawl for example), but instead of improving the gameplay, they added an expiration feature to the mailbox, which is absolutely ridiculous Besides that, it's extremely annoying how desperately the game tries to sell you resources, packages etc. for real money, if they continue this the game will be unplayable in a few years

I absolutely love this game and have played it on and off since my childhood. There's so much you can do, and literally every dragon from all the (real) HTTYD movies and series in there. My one issue is that some of the flight animations, particularly those of the Prickleboggle and Triple Stryke, look off, but aside from that small issue the game is absolutely incredible. I'm so glad they haven't shut down their servers like School of Dragons did.

Possible the single most money grubbing game I've ever encountered. It's genuinely difficult to do literally anything without being bombarded with "spend money here" suggestions, and it is a poster child for dark patterns - the default setting is always to automatically spend the premium currency, without ever asking for confirmation. It's pretty, and the gameplay is simple but not terrible, if you can work out what can be done under all the ads. Unsurprisingly, scales rapidly to be infuriating

I've tried turning on my wifi, just using data, it's not my connection. I can log into other games just fine, but this one for some reason just won't let me

I started playing to help out my young children, they have since grown out of it but I still connect once or twice a day and the island is progressing nicely. I don't put any money in but that hasn't stopped me enjoying it. Best moment: Getting a new dragon. Least fun for me: The journeys, they appear very random, I am not sure it is worth reading the text or taking the time.

Has some issues with adds granting rewards and can take a while to download extra assets. Thats why I dont give it 5 stars. But overall, this is a very nostalgic game and I very much enjoy it. You can be a Stat buff and get the best dragons for collecting if you want, or be more casual and still have a great experience. I'd describe it as a farming/world building/a bit of a design game but way cooler because it's about the Dragons.

Overall it is still a good game and plays well on mobile. There's plenty to do every day, especially currently with the seasonal hub for Christmas. However I will say that the gauntlets become impossible to finish unless you're potentially paying to open dozens upon dozens of token packs to level up your dragons because the game gives their dragons the advantage in the final levels of a gauntlet to the point where mine were suddenly not landing most hits. Hence why it's only 4 stars and not 5.

this is a really good game. the events that come out and limited time dragons are cool. this is where I have a problem I was really looking forward to getting the live action red death but when I finally opened the game and found out that I had to pay 70 bucks for it i was a little mad. you guys don't have to put everything cool behind the grand alpha bundle cause it gets annoying. and if you guys made it cheaper that would be also better.

Overall I love this game. But every time it downloads new content it glitches really badly and shuts down the game at least 3 times before it plays. It also does this when you watch the videos to get the 2nd card pack. More often than not you end up watching 2 or 3 vids just to get a card pack Still glitches, just reopened the app to find out all the progress I made on the latest limited collection has been wiped. im so disappointed as I probably won't be able to complete it in time

This is the only phone game I've played that I am all around impressed with. There is no pressure to log back in 100 times a day to continue the progress in the game; It is equally as easy to find rare dragons while NOT spending real money in the game compared to someone who does; The currency in the game is easy to collect and items are reasonably priced when having to spend it; And it's exciting to send Toothless out to find new dragons and then discover a new dragon egg. Definitely recommend!

While the 100th Update milestone is huge and I give props to the devs for getting this far, it is unfortunately one of the worst ones recently. The UI is uncomfortably small and squished, resources don't stack anymore, and there's a timelimit on anything you get in the mailbox, and while I understand it's for "lag" reasons it makes the Gauntlets a lot less playable, ESPECIALLY for those of us with Dragon Rider memberships. TBH, the only good thing in this update is the ability to sort your mail.

love the game and have sunk way too much time into it, but lately there is a bug where the limited search for the limited search for Cloudcarver isn't showing up. Currently lowering the rating because the issues with limited searches are still ongoing. Update. In addition to the above glitch, I am now having glitches where I acquire limited collection items only for them later to disappear. I spent hundreds of runes that are now lost for nothing.

I LOVE this game, but the last update majorly nerfed rewards that aren't fish or wood. I can easily get 3mil of each within an hour just by doing events so there's almost no need to use dragons, which is annoying because daily tasks usually require harvesting resources with them. I have close to 5mil in excess resources in my mailbox with nothing to use them on since upgrades u0026 hatching at my level (36) can take a minimum of 8hrs.

I have loved How to train your dragon for years and was so happy with this game, I used to have it but then I deleted, when I downloaded and started to play again I remember why. You are able to play without paying but it takes many many many tasks and days to get what you want if you don't pay for it, even in game purchases with gsme currency are awful because you pay the fish, wood, chips or others but it's not sure you will get what you payed for; it turns boring and repetitive

Game is great, it's a fun time waster. My son and my wife also play and we love collecting these dragons together. The only issues this game has is, in typical ludia fashion, it is way over monetized and the mtx are so overpriced. Every battle pass is multi tier and there is a monthly sub. Mobile games having monthly sub is insane to me. Anyway, if there was a mtx this game needs, it's an ad pass that skips ads and gives rewards. Overall, the games is fun. just ignore the shop and enjoy.

lots of content, plenty of dragons to collect but even for people that are used to daily, hardcore grinding in games this game is a Complete pay-to-play trap. Certain things simply cannot be obtained without money. Space for dragons whether it's on the map or in your hangar, or both, cannot be obtained in time to keep the dragons you want without money. Worst of all, customer support is Non-existent. They simply do not reply. Not for WEEKS after putting in a report.

one of my favorite games. 9 out of 10 the exploration times for toothless and a little long and the hatch time for the more rare and powerful dragons are a little extreme. the drumeion has a 7 day wait time and if you haven't expanded the hatchery you cant hatch any more dragons. Definitely a strategy game when played always expand first.

It's okay at most, too difficult to be enjoyable. To make any decent progress, or to proceed through the game without constantly struggling, you'd have to pay. A lot. Everything costs too much. The minigames are hard to the point of being unenjoyable too, for brawling you need to spend around seventy years trying to get a few cards for the dragons you do use, and no matter how much you level them up it feels as though it's for nothing because they always put you up against way stronger enemies
