idle frontier : tap tap town

I keep coming back to this game but the economy is frustrating. You need to upgrade managers to automate the properties. But you can only purchase levels for a three managers at a time.

Events are glitchy. This latest event is not saving your progress so you have to start over each time you close and reopen the app

I've been playing this game for at least a year. I've enjoyed it for it's need to interact with the game. The events are really what keep me coming back but it would be nice if there was a bit more to do in the game. I also only paid one time for a $4.99 bundle and only because someone was complaining about needing to pay to get further. I have not needed to pay for anything! It's a nice steady game without any surprises... which is mostly good.

What a stupid game. Development of the game must have been managed by clowns. The objective of a game is to be fun. This game has become ridiculously hard, slow and pendantic. Progress is impossibly hard as it seems like the game punishes you for trying to get ahead. Do not bother downloading this rubbish unless you like being frustrated. Impossible goals and amounts to reach. Just another pathetic attempt at pay to play. There is not a single game on Google play with any integrity.

I enjoy this game because it's mind numbingly simple. Sometimes that's just what I need. However, around level 90 it becomes so hard to progress that even I got bored with it. If you don't spend money at this point it can take weeks, perhaps a month to move up. So that's kinda lame. I've resorted to just playing the mini events that happen every Thursday- Sunday.

Well I love this game so much. I didnt recieve my items for something that i bought. I contacted support. Well the items i bought ended up showing up on my game. So i contacted support told them that everything was ok. Well days later i bought something again twice and i had the same issue. 1 time items showed up 2nd time no. So i send another email and i get an email back saying my conduct was bad. I was blown away and offended and dont understand either. I truly love this game and just Wow.

Game is not stable. I'm not playing but 3 games and I pay for a subscription to the game but it's irritating when the game crashes and not saving the money in transit. It's a good game and worth the download but I would like a little bit more stability

A game that starts great, but quickly becomes tedious. The weekend events are where it's at when the main game becomes stale. However, you need "cards" to do so much as automate an outpost, but the supply of cards you have access to is way WAY too small, requiring you to tap constantly, or pay big bucks for more cards. The prices are ridiculous -- for this event they list a $10 starter pack - this gives a modest boost that you lose after the 4 days is over. $10 for four days of gameplay. NUTS.

Great idle game, but it has become ridiculously hard and pedantic to play the normal levels, so I only play the contest games on the weekend now! The regular levels are incredibly boring and no longer fun which defeats the purpose of a "game"! It seems that the creators have forgotten that, and that it's meant to be FUN!! Was 5 stars, now 3. Shame!

For a year I have complained about the events and how impossible they are. Once you get through the first town after finally having everything automated you go to next town and need level 3 managers when you just barely made it to level 1. Which really sucks when the events are all that makes this game fun... every time I see an update I hope. But still. Could be great but its pay to play sadly.

Latest update, week of Feb. 15th, game became completely unplayable.. I was only able to access playable part ONCE, every other time it crashed out during loading and had to restart, only to crash again!!! USELESS!!!!! An PLEASE for the LOVE OF GOD don't tell me you will send my feedback to tech support, they seem to be as useless as this game is right now!!!

I really loved this game at the start, but now it can take over a month to clear a level. I refuse to spend any money to clear a level. Its very naughty of the developers to make it that way. And as the same with all games. If the coins etc were cheaper then im sure more people would pay. Its just greedy

Pay-to win - I'm once again seriously unhappy with this game. In the latest event you have set the requirements of level for the staff to automate the business's far too high u0026 you don't give even half of the "beans" units out to upgrade the staff to the right level forcing me to buy gold with real money to trade for the beans currency. But you're not having my money I can assure you of that! I'm on level 8 u0026 my staff have to be level 11 to be assigned to their business's. Why is that?.....

This used to be my favorite game by far. I spent a lot of money on it but now I switched devices and tried to change my password so I can log into my kongregate account and it doesn't let me do it. it says it's still the incorrect password when I know I'm typing the right thing. I guess I'm just going to put this game down and not mess with it anymore or any other kongregate games if it cannot be fixed immediately

Giving 2 stars. I think I would have loved the game, but sadly after having it for 24 hours I'm Uninstalling it. It opened the first time after downloading it, I played for a bit which was fun. It's now crashed like 6 times when trying to open and load th game so I cannot even play it.

Last update introduced many bugs. The app keeps closing when I try to open now. The amounts to "purchase" businesses doesn't reflect properly. I've purchased businesses, only for the business to revert when I next open the app. Never receive the right cards needed to automate. Was done prior to this update.

Good little idle game. Plenty of offline rewards and online events if you want to stay and play |like the new manager update because you don't have to check every single shop so see if you can upgrade. ----- I don't like the new crate movement. It's distracting. I wish there was more logic to what level the manager had to be for each town lever in events especially. Annoying to need a level 1 manager, go to the next town and suddenly need a level 4.

Mini games are absolutely pay to play. Alo, dont buy the monthly VIPpackage. Half the time it doesn't work. Past level 10, its not worth having because you have to buy cards for the game to be worthwhile

This last update they did made it so i cant get into the game every time i try it saus its not reapinding. I have sent fees back and been ignored. Uninstalles to reibstall. If that dossnt work i vuess im down with the game. Great game just need to stop with thw updates.

Fun game but haven't been able to open it in the past week. Crashes immediately from loading screen. A few weeks later: I was able to get back into the game. Then an update was put out and now the game is back to crash upon loading.

It's an ok game if you want to spend real money to buy what you need in this game. I refuse to spend real money, so I can't get the items needed to level up, especially in the events. The events are harder than regular towns. In fact, in one of the 'fixes' they changed the way you are awarded beans so that it is even harder than ever. So I'll be uninstalling to save my peace of mind and lower my frustration level. I play these games to relax, not get more frustrated.

Good game, although once you get past a certain City, it becomes harder to play. For an idle game, it kinda requires you to be more than just idle. Cash doesn't build up that well. You need to automate managers for buildings, for that you need enough cash. Hard when you're on a new city. To be able to have automated managers, you need cards leveled. Hard to level level without pies, which the game is stingy on unless you pay. And why pay for an idle game?

I wasted my time but constantly trying to fill in the place for managers in the challenge.... Yeah, I could've just not participated in it, but if you're going ti include a bonus, make it enjoyable. Outside of that, I would have given it a higher score for gameplay. In conclusion, play the game, but only play the challenge if you're not competitive and are willing to pay.

Cute idea, bad execution. Once you make progress, you can no longer idle. You have to use "pie", which you get tiny amounts of or buy, to level cards up, to idle again. An absurd mechanic in an "idle" game. I tried the event and could no longer idle after literally a single level due to not enough cards or rare currency, but if I bought the $10 starter pack I sure could. You must play this two ways. Micromanage constantly, and later come back once every 4 hours for 3 seconds, until you can idle.

The best idle game I've played, but when you complete offers for free gold and it even says you completed it, you still don't get the gold. Then the game crashes every time you go look at how it says you've completed it. Edit: I did eventually get it, it was just somewhere I didn't notice. (Rewards end up somewhere in the settings menu.)

Progress slows to a crawl repeatedly especially during events because you don't have the required cards to automate and you either have to wait for new free chests or non-idle i.e. click every few seconds. Not saying it's definitive proof but sure feels like the devs want you to buy in order to advance in the game, so I uninstalled. I have other things to do with my time.

It's a good concept. However the fact you cannot get any money while the game is idle unless you have the right card upgraded, even if everything else is automated, leaves me a little sour. Not to mention that after making a recent purchase, and having to uninstall the game due to a technical issue, I could not get the account back and never received an email response to my help request. So play with caution, and be careful of your purchases. Also the prices for gold are too damn high.

I find that the main game is a lot of fun and can be played without having to spend real money over time. The events used to be the same way, but either by design or flaw you cannot progress with the gatherer or shipping (what actually makes money) without paying to get the bundle that provides those managers. My advice is to play the main game but skip the events until this is fixed.

Really liking it so far. If you like the AdVenture games this will be perfect for you if you want something different but with the same "idle" model. One negative is that everything you can buy with gold is REALLY expensive (and buying gold is also really expensive), so gold you earn through gameplay is useless. I have been playing for weeks and only got 332 gold (haven't used any) and if you were to buy missing pie or cards for an upgrade it will cost something insane like 800 gold

This game is a cash grab. Don't be fooled, if you want to progress to automation at higher levels, you better have money to spend. Their in game gold is unattainable at all. No achievements to work towards, nothing but cold hard cash. I dont mind having to grind, I mind having to grind on every single reset for higher and higher levels to achieve automation for an idle game. But at least the gameplay is decent and they don't cap how long you can be away from the game
