I don't know about gameplay, as I immediately uninstalled upon reading the ToS/Privacy Policy. I don't care that they hide behind "industry standard s". The collection and sharing of personal data and information, is unacceptable! They're FAR too vague with who, how, and why they use this information. In a time when identity theft, and hacking is at its peak, this is a poor business practice, and it really should end. If you plan on playing these games, know that you're putting yourself at risk

Was 5 stars, dowgrading to 4 after 2 years: the longer you play, the more whales pop up that completely dominate the game to the extent that you cannot drop your shield for 30 seconds. As such game becomes a pure pve for play for free people. If you are into gathering resources and clicking npc armies, still a great game though.

Was alright when I was on original server but after server merge, the highest lvl person from my server can't even hold a flame compared to the ppl on the server we merged with, now we get wiped in 1 attack and can't even kill a single on of their troops due to the fact that they've spent huge amounts of money on the game pointless to even get on now that we have to constantly rebuild, and before we even heal all troops for the 5 plus days it takes to heal them we get wiped again.

It's a great game. Especially if you find a good alliance. My biggest complaint is the build times. Outrageously long. But that's where they get you.

I've got to day I don't like this kind of game, but it does a really good job of looking and feeling like old school fantasy Choas which keeps bringing me back.

If it wasn't for the players and the community this game would be less than one star, you can look past the fact that being F2p is hard to do and the people who spend big dominate. What you can't look past is the complete lack of support and guidance from the development team, there have been issues in this game that have been bought up time and time again and ignored, the new content that comes out is nothing but a buggy money sink, don't start this game, No direction and no support, awful

This game has the constant need for castle upkeep and reinforcement. If I'm not able to play for a couple weeks, I come back and my castle has been annihilated 50 times, I really want a way to put myself in a non-combatant mode. What's the point of playing something where I am constantly getting curbstomped. I just logged on and had 0 (zero) soldiers.

Great game. I just tried to log on and was instructed to update the game. But i already have. Why another? I hope it involves fixing not being able to log on or mysterious connection drops when being attacked. It's like the game is hacked just before the attack and you can't do anything until the attacks are over. (November 14 2019- the update is not available?) I'm taking my rating away because the game has gotten 100×'s worse. Just crashes and lags. They refuse to fix this!

The customer service of this game is atrocious. They charge a large amount of money for relatively small packs. Then as soon as you un-shield and try and pvp and use the things you just paid for, the game lags, kicks you, and by the time you log back in your $50 or $100 dollar pack is gone. The game has a lot of issues and they do nothing to take accountability for their end. They won't even answer my support tickets with screen shots of these exact scenarios happening and them keeping my money

Most recent update on 2/25/21 took a reasonable effective mechanic and changed it, for no identifiable reason, to smthe distinct detriment of player enjoyment of the game. Randomized warlord favor vs. the prior souls mechanic is ridiculous. Obvious cash grab. If submitting a support ticket to swap favor one time is your answer to this terrible change, why not build in the swap mechanic into the warlord conclave as part of the update? Poorly conceived idea and execution.

Absolutely Nothing New Other Than A Franchise. I've played Travian, Warcraft, Civilization, and almost every mobile RTS/MMORPG since and I can tell you this is just as boring as all the others. Erratic user interface? Check. Non-focused side quests? Check. Lack of ability to organize village? Check. Please don't waste your time with this one. Some recent same games that brought in merging and Candy Crush style battles have been less boring.

Even though at first I was unsure of this game, I've grown to love it, yes its grindy, but that doesnt matter, the community on this game is amazing, love my alliance and server The premium currency is very easy to earn when you actually get going, follow the events, get in a popular alliance, and boom, you're sorted. Very happy with the state the game is in!

The greedy devs have once again released an update that is detrimental to the game as a whole. It has only been implemented to change a once simple and intuitive Warlord system into a confusing mess designed to get you to part with your money more frequently due to new additional arbitrary premium currency. Further to Developer comment I checked the patch notes and my review stands. The "Favour" system is an awful, cynical cashgrab that is detrimental to the game designed to profit greedy devs.

While the game captures the essence of Warhammer, there desperately needs a "poison pill" mechanism to slow down or stop power(pay to win) players from constantly destroying the new players and making the game just not fun to play.

avoid at all costs. what kind of mobile game thinks 3-18 + months is an acceptable timeframe to upgrade one building, one time? sniffin glue. whats that mean... 10 years tp reach lvl 32 ? so u buy. $$$ then when you slow down spending, suddenly you lose access to your account, and its all for nothing. oddly convenient. can i get my acct back? no. money back? no. robbed me,and others,and dont deserve your time. it deserves a dinosaur killing meteor sized dose of karma. f. u.

I love this game but why is it 1 star. The newest update makes it almost impossible to gain and upgrade a Warlord without crazy amount of chest. Exp. If want a rare that cost 100 tokens and you are lucky enough to get the same 15 Warlord tokens out of the 4 chest you bought. To lvl up to lvl 2 100 tokens lvl 3 150 tokens and so on but you will at best be getting a 5% chance at getting that Warlord's tokens out of 26 Warlords depending on which chest you aquire. Honestly they only care about ????

Not unlike many other kingdom builders I've played. I will say the options within your champion as far as abilities is pretty in depth. Many effect growth of your resources as well as troop training times. Pretty standard fare of click and wait. Awesome art work. Haven't gotten far enough to give feedback on the storyline yet.

The disclaimer is that the game is a P2W enviroment so it drops a star. But with enough perserverance the timer based game is just that and the P2W doesnt give you significant advantage long run (long run being 2 years). Recently there have been some good updates, really poorly implimented that caused massive backlash amongth the community and this has increased the level of Dev communication which has historically been at best diabolocal.

Worst managed game ever. Instead of improving it, the Dev team keeps pushing atrocious new mechanics that screw players and don't address long standing problems. People started quitting and I just stick around for the people (but we've started looking for new games as a group)

Half star, new update to original review, so despite community request for new warlord system to be scrapped (which no one asked for) they continue, all be it with a refund of favour. Update of game will take 4 hours.... 7 and a half hours later game is still down. So to review, the game gets half a star due to the hilarity of the comments in the official discord, because if you literally can't play the game then it should be 0 stars.
