An important review from a long time player. I've played both previous seasons, Gold Frame from last year, but I can't carry on. The developer has made some poor choices with the new season which don't favour those who don't want to spend lots of actual money with them. The game is glitchy with connection problems, especially during the GP events, which affect many people. It appears their servers can't cope yet they blame the players internet. Poor customer service from support. Disappointing

This game used to fun, but now after the latest update it's the complete opposite. You simply can't compete unless you spend cash whereas before you at least had a chance, coin rewards were greater when spinning. Pit stop glitches, car drives straight past pit entry which is very frustrating especially when you are clearly going to win the race. What's the point of getting an epic driver if it's going to cost millions of coin for the first upgrade (6.2 million for Gasly). I'll be uninstalling.

This is the worst "pay to win" game ever. The concept is even better : "pay to play". As you need to save up money to race, and if you lose your race you lose everything and have to put in some real money to race again (if you lose again, then you have to put some real money again). So you can win 13 races in a row, then get stolen a win (matchmaking is never fair) and you start over since step one, with 0 money. I guess the dev team did not want to create a game, but a cash machine.

Well what was a fun game has now turned into a massive pay to win disappointment! The coin pay out has gone right down and you spend most of your time losing rather than winning so there is even more of a need for coins since the update, the payout is so minor now it almost like you have to spend real money to get anywhere! Updating the cars and drivers is now way too expensive, was good before the update, but should be renamed F1 money grab not F1 clash!!!

Was a decent enough game until new update. Now it's a very glitches game thats only possible to progress in if you can afford to spend large amounts of money on a regular basis. They've now even made it so you can't enter the first event of this season without having to spend. After contacting developer about the glitches they've claimed its due to my Internet, despite me trying on 4g, 5g, and 4 different broadband connections and still encountering the same issues.

Coins are way too hard to come by. Everything from driver and car upgrades are super expensive but at the same time you make the payout of coins from crates extremely low. This in turns leads to a game you are bored of after a week and stop playing. And to add to all that a couple of times I've won a race and recieved no money for it.

A game that definately is a "pay to win". Match ups can be so inconsistent that you'll end up losing so much money that you cannot upgrade your cars or drivers to compete. Always stuck in the first round which only gives $2k for a win and yet upgrades costs as high as $24k. Else you'll perpetually be stuck and unable to progress. Casual players be warned.

Last season was a good mix of rewarding you for progress but still getting people to purchase things to improve faster and become really good. This season has become strictly pay to advance. They decreased rewards from winning races and watching ads while seriously increasing cost to upgrade cars and drivers. The game is a little buggy from the upgrade but that is expected with a major update. The main problem is the drastic change to pay to advance. Change soon or I will have to uninstall.

Addictive. Normally get bored quickly of most mobile sports games, but this one keeps me coming back. Standings with promotion and relegation with increase in rewards the higher up the divisions you go is a great feature. Would love a bit more customization options for the car. Maybe some cutscenes with drivers before/after qualifying/race day too. Only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because there's unfortunately a play to win element, makes things very unfair in an online heavy game.

Been playing since last season but I dont think I can anymore. The new season has made it where players don't earn enough of the in game currency to be able to upgrade, cars or drivers, and even race. This wasn't a problem last year but with keeping all the same prices but making it where players only earn a small fraction from crates and races its just not worth playing anymore sadly.

Since the most recent update the game has gone downhill. Racing physics appear to have been updated but not improved. Particularly the nonplayer racers appear to have mastered cornering and overtaking, with players at a frustrating disadvantage. The price surge with items and drivers going up through the levels also appears greater than before, seemingly moving to pay to win. Finally connection issues, despite being on solid WiFi, continue to cause frustration, and battery drain also seems up.

Items in store WAYYYY to expensive, such as the Boost!! This is a mobile game. If I was going to spend a bunch of money, I will spend it on an actual SIMULATION RIG for F1. Not this cheesey mobile game. Also, I'm turned off by the fact they want you to spend hundreds of dollars on the game, only to take away all those drivers, and parts, when the season ends. And then only to be able to use them 3 times a day. What a freaking joke. Save your money, and don't waste your time on this game ????

First of all I'm the type of player that likes to be efficient (OCD?) After playing for 1 week you can't enjoy the game while you have abundance of free time. If you want to win a race and earn a crate (lootbox) you can only do 1 race every 3 hours. This sucks the fun out of it because there's no reward other than moving up on a rank board and earn some currency. If anything you shouldnt be limited to opening 1 crate at a time. My review will stand until things change for the better of players.

Great game, good fun especially if you're an F1 fan. Graphics are ok and car graphics and design options are ok just wish there was more to pick from. Unfortunately it's a game where you will need to spend if you want to compete, I've spent £30 plus this month and it's got me nowhere still struggle to win anything. Also prices for upgrades are ridiculous and again to get the coin to upgrade requires more deep pockets to purchase the coin. Fun but unfortunately expensive if you want to compete.

One of the worst games ive ever played. Spent money on this game only to have all progress wiped out and taken back to square one at the end of every race season when you are not told about when you start playing this game. Game managers are only in it to make money off unsuspecting game players and fans of F1. Please stay away from this game...a true ripoff.

Loading spins more than mazespin, Servers crashes, AI just like to stop all of a sudden or keep stopping your car but won't do the same to the enemy which obviously he's an AI too, Drivers just don't want to get into pit, Pit time is inaccurate shows I got 6.5s but both drivers go pit for 9-10s, Many bugs specially in series 3-4, Cars devour fuel even if it's on green and while inside the pit stop (bug please look into it). Please fix it. Unistalled I give it enough chances, PM when it's fixes.

Changing my rating from 5 to 3 after a couple days of playing. This game is very fun and has lots of potential but I don't really like the formula of win or lose all our coins over games. I think the winner should win the same amount and the loser keep 25% of the entry cost (missing 25% added by the game). It would ensure more fluidity, and less frustration. Now, with the new season and the scarcity of coins, even playing a single game seems often unwise with the huge cost of upgrades.

I am playing this game for past 2 days and it was fun compared to other F1 games but there are several issues, 1. Why I didn't get any chequered flags after reaching 216 flags? 2. Why I can't play event mode?( It says locked, I don't understand why locked) 3. Why I can't unlocked series 5 in duel race? If I get answers for these questions then I will give 5/5 rating for this game.

This game was incredibly fun, but they released a new update which has completely ruined the game. Pit stops changed from average of 3 seconds to an average of 6 seconds, it's only 3 seconds but it completely throws off strategy and makes it feel x10 slower. I've persisted with the new season but I can only win about 30-40% of games because it is impossible to progress without spending copious amounts of money. I really wish they update it again, however, for now, it is unplayable.

Super disappointed. It's kinda fun to manage the races and has the usual RPG elements. I was looking forward to entering the actual races, only to discover I needed a lot of in game money to even enter the lowest level, and I had already spent it all on upgrading my car. Only way to get money in game is to win duels, and those are against real players, so it's not reliable.

I realize why they call it Clash now. All the cars do is run into each other.. Game is also money grab now. I get they want to make money, but they upped the cost of everything this season. Impossible to win without spending a lot of money. I purchase occasionally for this game, but I won't spend a dime now.

Infuriating. It doesn't seem to make any real difference as to what upgrades you have, you can have better stats on everything and drivers and still lose on the same strat because the game has determined you lose. Some tracks like monza the cars just stop at turn 1. Some tracks if you quali on the inside you'll sail past 7 cars and never be caught up. It just plays like its determined who wins at lights out and you don't have any real chance to change that

The new update had me very excited. But all it has done is show how money hungry a company can get. A massive drop in what crates give in all aspects and a huge raise in how much stuff on the store costs. The game was always pay to win but it still gave you enough to at lease compete. Now you get 200-500 coins a crate. So if you run out you have to wait hours before you can even play again. I'm still going to play as I enjoy the game but I'd say I'll give up during this season at some point.

LOVED this game for the last two years! Recent upgrades for the new season have ruined what was once a seriously fun game :( Overtaking is ridiculous, your cars stop inexplicably at corners giving up position, upgrades mean nothing, and all last season's progress is lost and you start from scratch all over again. Disappointed.

New update is just a money grab, I don't buy the whole "level playing field" argument, it's just to get people spending, you now get less coins, less rewards from crates, whilst still competing against p2w players, components that you'll never see unless you spend money, the CC points are a waste of time, anyone ever seen max verstappen outpaced by Nikita mazepin? Well play this game and you will, Race starts are a total lottery, you can easily get screwed by a laggy AI car ruining your race.

Update Now downgraded to one star since the new season update. Playability is now rubbish. So loaded in the opponents favour and the need to spend real cash. Very disappointed. Still having connection problems. Especially during events, this ends up with me losing potential points when it kicks me out through no fault of my own.

I have played this game for a year now and I have thrown money at it because this is the only way you can get your upgrades on the game. I have really enjoyed playing but it seems like the last 3 months have been glitchy and the ai has changed which has ruined the game. I have missed out on the last 3 race weekends because of convenient glitches! I don't receive any kind of good Will gesture! I will be uninstalling this app!

Used to be a great game. Yes you have to wait sometimes for rewards but you can still play while waiting. The newest update however erased everything for a "new season". If you spent real money like I did all your purchases are gone. Would've loved to have known that before I spent money. It's still fun though just a piss off.

Loved the previous version of this game, but since it's been updated and "improved" for the new F1 season it's just awful. Slow races, ridiculously long pit times, virtually impossible to overtake and the cost of in-game purchases has doubled, and in some cases more than trebled. It's gone from being a really, really good game to a bore-fest and an absolute rip-off

PAY AND PLAY!!!the same problems with no progress to fix them, the game cancel your pit stops, you have to go the next lap without tires, automatically slows down or accelerates, sometimes the driver stops for literally no reason and loses 10 positions. it's a pity you can't give negative stars, it would be -5!!!! these positive comments"5*" are also probably booty, very short, without meaningful content (old school of deceiving people)!!! Really scripted game!!!!! Except that you can accelerate or slow down you have no influence on anything(on some level), opponents matched from the a.s ! You need spend lots money to enjoy game!!! it is a pity that no negative stars can be given!!!! This game is JOKE!!!

The game in of itself is fun with being able to customize your car and pick your drivers and work towards becoming a top team. however, something needs to be done to fix the matchmaking and overall consistency of the players driver/car package. You'll find you go from games where you completely smash your opponent to games where you may as well have put 2 pylons out there. It can become very frustrating at times which is unfortunate for a game which has obviously had a lot of work put into it.

What was a slightly frustrating game last year has just become an even worse one this year with the update. It seems instead of taking player's raised concerns and improving on them, they've had a board meeting to figure out how to make all of these issues 10x worse. Last year you could just about get by playing free or spending a little now and then. This year, even the people who spend regularly don't have any incentives to play and a lot of dedicated players I know are leaving in their droves
