This game is HORRIBLE, I remember playing this a long while ago, today I came back to it to play once more but I got hit with many many MANY ads, not to mention limited lives! I'm very frustrated and saddened to see one of my favorite games overtaken by ads from the greed of wanting to milk us for cash.

Very fun, but I took 2 stars away because the ads are insane. Update: I decided to upgrade to the no ad version and there are still ads. The only thing it got rid of were 3rd party ads so I took away an additional star. I would give a better rating if there were zero ads.

Love the game, but parts of it keep disappearing. I haven't had triviathon for over two months. I keep getting emails about great prizes in triviathon and have emailed several times about it being gone from the game. I don't think anyone is answering issues any longer. I enjoy what little is left that IS working.

Top notch trivia game. I had an issue with gems being spent for cards, but no cards being given. The Ethermax team compensated me promptly and put in an update to fix the bug. It hasn't happened since. Solid service from the support team.

Very solid game, although questions are more American based, and that's not the real problem. Just way too many ads, it became unplayable. At least give an option to buy ad-free version.

It is fun sometimes but the ads really really destroy the enjoyment. So many questions are too focused on USA like everybody studies american history and know their sports. Calling football soccer and when it says football they mean the american football.

Too many damn ads and popups before, during and after rounds! Plus why does it equate the English language as American. It seems all questions in English are for the USA only. And stop it with the pathetic excuse that you need the ad revenue, I bet you could easily do with a fraction of it.

They used to be good. But they got greedy and the amount of advertising is insane. The questions are also very frequently in the wrong category or just plain wrong (especially in the science section).

The ads have gotten out of hand! I love this game but it's become unpleasant and unplayable due to the outrageous amount of ads! So as much as I love it, I'm having a hard time even giving it two stars instead of one...

Nation-wide sports and knowledge of it is a dying breed. The sports section should really be watered down if not taken out altogether. I find myself downloading this app and quickly undownloading because of that section. It's something I know nothing about and don't care to know more of, and stats for recent NFL, NBA, etc etc are trickling down more and more. Unless it's questions about logic rather than pop culture (ie, "who has the most touchdowns"), the sports section should be scrapped

It's pretty good, it's just that when I play normal mode, the language for the question is always japanese. so please fix that.

The ads have gotten ridiculous now. I play for 2 seconds and have to watch a 15 to 20 second ad. I'm not spending 70% of my time watching ads.

I was trying to click the answer and it load and it stop and it won't let me do the other game for example. My friend made two games I answered one of them and it won't exit Out so I won't play the next one it used to work now it doesn't I don't know how it works for my other friend ????

Was a big fan of this game took a long break came back and it's ads ads ads. Not worth it to have to watch more ads than have in actual game play

I played this game when I was younger and really enjoyed it. Now, it's just crammed full of ads and ways for you to spend money. Answer a question wrong? Ad. Answer a few questions right? Ad. Get a weaker category? Opportunity to watch an ad. Hell, even the home screen "pet" looks pitiful and malnourished unless you either play enough (basically watch enough ads) or pay real money to keep it alive. Oh how the mighty have fallen.

This app was great, but the ADs are crazy. Every time you mess up, AD. After so many questions, AD. The prices to by anything in the game are outrageous. Why would I pay $4.99 for a CHANCE to get the question right and get a prize. Also, the piggy bank is stupid. You shouldn't have to pay to get the coins you deserve. Speaking of the coins, they are practically useless. You can't buy anything with them. The trivia is fun and all, and I understand they have to make money, but lessen the ADs.

it's a fun game, but the ads are petty overboard. I understand that the company needs to make money, and I have no problem with that, but there's a point that it gets to be too much. And they don't fix incorrect questions. Ie; I keep getting asked how many justices are supposed to be on the Supreme Court. They give the answer as 9, and I keep reporting it, but I keep getting the same incorrect question.

Omggggg Every (ad) time (ad) you (ad) blink (ad) there is an (ad) ad. Play a question, get an ad. Play another question, get an ad. Select a category, get an ad. I understand ads are required to keep these games going, but come on! I have never seen a game with ads every 2 seconds! A real shame as the game itself is fun.

Honestly, it's annoying when sometimes you get the same question or when you have to put your email address in, just hate those games. Also, ads. They pop up like 600 times! There is no way avoiding it unless you pay around £1.50 for JUST NO ADS. You want a game like this? Kahoot or Wordscapes is for you. 1/5.

I started playing this a little over a month ago, and was really enjoying it. On 6/1/25 there are suddenly a ton of ads. They pop up after every missed question, sometimes in the middle of a question which makes you lose your turn, and there is little a box to pay $1.99 for 7 days of no ads that wasn't there before. Each ad takes 30-60 seconds and 4 clicks to get out of, just for it to try to get you to buy something in app. It has made it too annoying to play so I'm uninstalling on 6/3/25.

I really like this game and what it offers, it's very good and brings a lot of knowledge, but the amount of ads is absurd. I can't even stand playing for 30 minutes, even though I really like this type of game, because, again, of the EXTREMELY EXAGGERATED ads. Advertisements are shoved down your throat, and if you don't want to watch an ad because of ONE letter you misspelled, you're going to get an ad anyway.

Used to be an semi-decent quizzing app. In the last few weeks it keeps trying to launch SHEIN ads repeatedly and at random in my browser (including when I am trying to answer a question) without me even touching anything. The ad doesn't even work, it's always a broken link! I have emailed the developers about it a couple of weeks ago but nothing has changed. It is actually happening more frequently now. Played this for years with my family but I won't bother anymore.

ads too long, I have played for years. The ads recently started taking 2-5 minutes. I didn't mind the 20s-1 minute ads. I know that is how I play for free, I get. I have download several games over the years that the ads pointed me to. Going forward I probably won't be downloading the ad games. By the time the ad is over I am mad at the advertiser and the game. I play with my son and now it doesn't hold his attention.

game is mainly bots and is designed to funnel you in to making stupid useless non trivia related purchases. weekly ranking determines your overall rank which can go up and down depending on points earned. funny that somehow someone who is 3 minutes into the new rank will have 300k points ? developers. used to be fun and engaging now a soulless microtransaction/ad platform.

the game is pretty good but the ads freeze up A LOT. It's also hard to find thing in the UI sometimes and once you do, they move them or remove them. it's also hard to report bugs or questions with bogus answers.

Tried this game after switching phones and forgetting about it. it has way too many ads now. you get a few seconds of gameplay for a minute or longer ad, or multiple ads. Deleted game. and that sucks, because I really like it.

It's an unfortunate reality for us that we have to be subjected to a barrage of ads any time we try and enjoy any entertainment. I wished to play this game with my wife and three young children but we're not about to do so because of the amount of ads. I understand the ads help pay for the game, but there are just too many to be able to enjoy the experience.

I remember this used to be a pretty fun game, but now I can't get through 5 minutes of playing it without an ad, which also pauses whatever music or video I may be playing about half the time. the ads make it tough to want to play the game at all, let alone trying to play games within the time limit. Long story short, this game is no longer worth downloading. It's become another app designed to annoy you into buying the ad free version.

Cool game but too many pop ups. There were ads after almost every turn. I paid to turn the ads off which was only $6 for a year which is a good deal compared to other apps. But even after paying there are constant pop ups for other items in their store. Like I've already given you my money and you are constantly asking for more. Very annoying. Good game otherwise.

What happened??? I decided a few days ago to download this game (after many years) to play with my wife. Wow!! Ads... Ads... And more ads... There are SO many new features now that it makes the app slow and unplayable. Sure the users can submit questions but some of them have nothing to do with the topic. Needing to pay weekly, monthly, or yearly for ad free? Come on now. And WHY are there pets in the game?? They add nothing to it. No benefit to having them. Unistalled.

I'll start off by saying that I really enjoy the game. But I do want to leave a 1 star to protest against the amount of ads. It is strategically done to try to convince u to buy the no ad package by them giving you an ad after every missed question. I 10/10 recommend that you do not get this and I will change this when/if they reduce the amount of ads. Then they just sent a free trial ad in their reply. It just shows how desperate this company is for your money. DO NOT DOWNLOAD

Great concept, too bad the ads overwhelm the game. Almost more ads than trivia questions... an ad when you open, an ad when you answer, plus even more ads just because. The only way to stop them? Paying for a MONTHLY subscription. Playability is honestly hard due to constant ads. I got distracted ignoring an ad only to miss out on the trivia question because the ads are SO LONG and repetitive and the question timed out.

Honestly, there's just too much clutter but my #1 main issue is the relentless amount of notifications. It sends a notice for everything. Join this, feed this, keep your streak going, play this and on and on. I just want notifications when it's my turn to play.

While the game is entertaining, the programming is slanted so heavily toward the avatars that it's nearly impossible to win without purchasing cheat cards. The items to be purchased are also expensive for what they are.

Been playing the game for years. Love the game, its entertaining and a fun way to pass the time. The new update is ridiculous, much harder to interact and play games, pets hidden and so are the daily tasks. I don't feel the game needs a section to add a story like every other app. The apps is for trivia.

I actually love this app BUT, it does occasionally open your browser and direct you to a scummy webpage where it pretends your device is infected with viruses with a timer saying you've got under 5 minutes to download a certain antivirus or your bank account information will be lost/stolen. And if fake virus claims aren't bad enough the game is still running in the background so after you've closed the browser and get back to the game the timer has run out. ?
