I loved this game for a long time. When world 10 came out I was worried, the last stage took me a month. World 11 came out, and I saw it. You guys have ruined it and turned it into an unbeatable gacha hole. It isn't even fun to try new updates and see if I can progress with the caps you have. I just get angry. You should understand, people blow 1000's on these games either as collectors or perfectionists, but both want to actually play it. Neither will be able to where this is going.

This game is a 5 star. Easily. In the last 2 months I've played this I never felt that this game was made to milk someone's bank account dry. FtP is very good. It takes some grinding to get upto level but it's never tedious or boring. The story line from World 1 to 10 is insanely good, sometimes it makes me laugh, sometimes angry and the final battle against Beth was a tearjerker. 10/10 story. Only issues with the game is Arena, I would prefer to be matched against people close to my level.

It's lags a lot less now, but I still think it takes forever to get the evolution stones, and awakening stones for the character. Very good game though ????. I can't really play the new worlds whenever it comes out, since it always crashes for some reason when I try to go into the passage or whatever they are called, which makes me sad, since I'll be spoiled, by the time I play it.

At a certain point in the game, one can hardly progress right around world 11 or 12, and all you can do is patiently do the daily task to move up the game. I wish you'd allow more evolution dungeon runs, or lower the run/energy purchase cost. Also, please consider routine tasks that allow to gain more diamonds. Edit 06-29-2021. Just about every after update, the "update" button from the Playstore is not showing and it takes several attempts to load it for this "update" button to show.

Good game overall. Game play is fun , relaxing , and can be challenging . Lots of story content, and they aren't money minded. Free to play players also can easily play and compete in the game with all the freebies given. I can feel the developers put their hearts into this . Cons : older champs quickly become obsolete with the new heroes popping up so often. Game balances are poor, and in long term, competition side becomes who has latest champion. Tactics /planning/strategy becomes useles

The actual game is really nice and beautiful I really love it, the story is fantastic, especially in the later worlds. The gacha is nice and quite generous, compare to other gacha games. The fighting mechanics is also very good, there's a lot of choices for every player to choose from. Overall this is a solid 5/5 game!

I'm playing on an old lollipop phone, and the gameplay is rather smooth to my surprise… only for a while until the heavy lag hits, lol. I suggest adding an option where you could lower the graphics more than the available options right now (30, 60 fps) or turn off special effects. I love beautiful graphics, but I'd much prefer it if the game can run smoothly. P.S. Maybe touch up the english dialogue too. There were she/her/lady slip ups even though my knight is a male. (I don't mind much though)

Beautiful game. One of the best games i ever played gives gems so often. Although it would be better if there are multiplayer dungeons too like dungeons which need to be cleared by a team of players in real time and should be available for players from low levels too ! Instead of just arenas etc. And some event story dungeons would be better too! Also, an addition of equipment would be better like helms, accessories and armours! It would be amazing then.

Love this game! It's a fun mix of action and puzzle, with all the greats of a multi hero rpg. I've also found that, despite the advertisements for gem packages, you don't need to spend money to advance, complete challenges, or otherwise enjoy the game. I do wish there were more opportunities to get the legendary awakening stones, mileage tickets, and hero crystals.

I used to play the game properly but now i can't because of the new update. My game started to lagged in every 5 seconds so i have to restart my game over and over just to do a swipe and use all my coffee. If this keeps going I might quit the game because it's literally unplayable. I really really like the game when I started playing it but I guess it's over for me if It doesn't get fixed. Thank you GT.

Guardian Tales is a beautifully crafted game with a perfect blend of puzzles, action, humour and quite a dark story. Clearly nothing was held back when this game was being made, and it's absolutely fantastic. The difficulty curve is actually one of the more reasonable and balanced in a mobile game. This is still a gacha game though, which is why I'm giving it 4 stars. Increased rates would be nicer to see, especially given the rate of free gems we get. Regardless, it's a fantastic game!

Honestly this game is fantastic. The game story is unbelievably good. The characters are charming. The Gacha system is balanced. But there's one huge problem. For me, and some other player, The game is unplayable. The game itself has a problem with the framing, My phone is Redmi Note 5A. Not bad I think. But the game FPS is unbearable, it's like 5 FPS. Developer, can you deal with this problem quickly? I'll bear it for a while, but I can't take it anymore. Please can you deal with this quick?

The game is fun until you reach the ghost house. The arrows point to an object with seemingly no way to get through, basically soft locking the game. Please add something that can give a hint, at the least. Also, the game is almost a pay to win game as you need to buy character packs 21 TIMES in order to get one single rare. (I forgot the name, AAA) ONE. Also, in order to get DECENT characters you need to buy tons of gems, which is ridiculous. If this is fixed, I would appreciate it.

The game itself is definitely one of the best I've played 5 out of 5 for sure, thats why it saddened me alot when it became unplayable 5 days after install. The game's framerate slowly goes down and eventually freezes. This started happening right after the recent update; I was at world 3(if that holds any relevancy). The device I play it on is a Samsung J4+. Im still trying out things to maybe fix the problem.

You never expect an actual good plot in gacha but here we are. Levelling up feels like you're gaining nothing, but over time bonuses sum up, making you noticably stronger. Probably the only issue I encountered that really matters is game lag spike (up to a full stop) in tutorial, when something fires at you at the wall and you're downloading content at the same time (yes, that matters, it went good when I refused download)

Awesome game, takes time to get to a point where you can cruise easily (5 min a day) as a free to play player. Be careful with your weapons, hero crystals, and what you gatcha. Summon hero/ins, use milage for weapons. Have fun and enjoy! Its definitely worth it. Build teams not characters. F2P is definitely competitive if you get the right pulls for a team and save your milage and hero crystals. Also legend awakening stones, Save those for the real deal units... Bye

Really impressive! Incredible mobile game. Good technical work, love the pixel work, sprites, top down Zelda game play. Nice little adventure. Always room for improvement, but this is a very competent game, and I wish the dev. team the best, and that they continue to hone their craft. Very promising work, lot of potential.

This game is absolutely amazing. The Story is entertaining with many Worlds to conquer. The Characters are also well-thought out and have amazing skills. The game is constantly rewarding you with free resources, too. (Gems, Coins, Hero XP, Stamina, etc.) There's also a vast variety of weapons and classes of heroes. This game deserves it's 5 Stars. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who loves classic story games with a modern twist. Thank You for making such a great game, Kakao Games!

Well this was a really fun gacha, that i played for a long time, but it became pay to win game. The last lvls are insanely hard the only way to beat them is if you pay for the hero crystals or grind for like 5 months or so. The fact that the maximum lvl is 69, but the monsters are lvl 71 is a bad joke. And now they are just launching the free heroes with different skills and weapons, like come on don't be that way. Instead of launching heroes in every patch focuss on the story and the gameplay.

Guardian Tales is a great top-down hack n' slash, quite similar to the old school Zenonia games (plus other similar ones). There's a nice blend of puzzles that involve a variety of mechanics (usually involving pushing a block) including grappling, using fire to burn objects, and a few more. Although, the pricing of in app purchases may not be enticing, as a decent purchase would take away my ability to feed myself for a week. However purchases are not really requires. Overall though, great game.

I used to really love this game but all the recent updates have made the game almost unplayable. Textures wont load, game randomly freezes, events will crash with every update, and so many other problems I cant overlook anymore. I can't play past world 11 due to the glitches are so bad it can not load the cutscenes without crashing. The more updates they make the more the code cant handle it. It is such a fun game but they need to fix these issues because it is getting worse with every update

The frequent update on new heroes and weapons are just too overwhelming,and yet the storyline is moving at a snail's pace,as this is a story-based rpg game, i would appreciate it if it could update faster on the stories,instead of 3-4 months per world(chapter),and the server is so fricking terrible that by the time the first round of arena ends(arena consists of 3 rounds),the timer freezes at 0 seconds and just ZA WARUDO for like 2-3 minutes,only to notify that the server has crashed everytime

I was such a big fan, simply enjoying the gameplay and storyline until the developers decided to make it super hard to grow the different characters for each different World. This completely imbalance the gameplay and its hard to keep up and eventually I decided to give up on this game cz of being unable to enjoy the main game cz of these issues. Maybe if you so wish, let players decide difficultly level for themselves.

Disconnection during arena. After recent patch, the game constantly crashes and freezes in almost all contents. Or, massive frame drop. Never had this issue for 4 months. It started 3 weeks ago. Further, in arena, I am keep getting disconnected after 2 fights (outta 3 against the same opponent) and freeze with msg saying waiting on opponent connection. Nothing will happen and game will be just stuck if I wait. If I log out, that counts as loss on my side. Happened 5x against 5 opponents

I don't normally play gacha so if you like gacha and dislike grinding like I do, this is probably the game for you :) there's an unlocakble sweep function so you don't have to leave your game on auto and let it run. the game is also rather generous on gems to collect characters, although the rates are approximately the same as other gacha, it's easier to pull in this game. however the graphics are pretty much all pixel art, but the storyline is my favourite out of all the games so far.

This game is so well thought out and planned. The mixture of puzzles and battles are a great mix of diversity, so I don't mind. It is a F2P, with minor small purchases that you can buy, but usually not much! It would seem the developers are a vivid follower of Harry Potter and Coffee. That's is all I'm going to say ???? Oh and the controls are really simple to use and understand - I just don't know how this game has not been exposed much hrmmm...

The game is good but there some things that are needing of fixing. First is the arena i not fun to play . Every single player I face of has level higher than me and I just stoped playing it. I can ignore that but the second problem is much more problematic. Chapter 11 is the least fun chapter I've ever played. You need to limit Breck your characters by summoning which I don't like and it just seems like it was made just to be hard which is sad because it turn it into a adventure to a grind.

Tbh this game is great and one of the best rpg out there, the story is great and the dungeons and online battles/co-op is fun. For the people who are complaining about meta, you don't have to follow the meta for that certain update/moment, save your diamonds and just grind and upgrade your other heroes, you don't have to necessarily follow the meta. Save diamonds for the next summoning pulls, good luck.

One of the best mobile games available, old school zelda-like gameplay with lots of content, and no ads! Most mobile games dripfeed content to her you to watch ads but this one doesn't. Good story overall as well. Only negative is that they use a gacha system for the best heroes be that as it may you also get a lot of currency so this isn't too much of a problem. Strongly recommend :).

This is a great game. The story and lore is great, the controls are easy to master, and it does not require much grinding until much much later into the story. Just as an FYI, this is a Gacha adventure game, where you will pull different heros from the Gacha (it changes every 2 weeks) and you will have to use gems for pulls, and the game is pretty generous on giving you the gems. Overall great game.

In my opinion, a great game. But I had to see a Youtube video because I could not beat 1-7, so just keep that in mind. Also, I would recommend check out Moonlight Scolpor.Anyways, great game and actually stumbled across an ad, which was one of the best ads I have ever seen, so ads also great. Oh yeah, one last thing is that after I got to 4-4, after I played for 3 to 5 minutes, it starts becoming SUPER laggy and I have to close and then reopen the game. But all in all, I enjoy this game a lot.

I loved this game as it is probably the first gacha game that rewards people for playing instead of paying. Just warning the people who complain about balance. If the devs put balance changes its too late now. If they balance it and someone who grinded the game alot who has got the best heroes in the game and probably maxed them out the developers will have no compensation good enough to pay for the time loss. Not only that but this is a gacha game. Just keep rolling til you get a good guardian.

I forgot to give this a review on day one, I pre-registred after all and I loved it back then and now. Incredible. Also, I think there should be some sort of option that would allow the player to disable the shield but still have the equipped shield's stats. I can't see the costumes or the character's look in general whenever I have a large shield on my Future Princess, I love this other than that.

Interesting gacha type game with extremely charming, fun, and engaging story. Compared to other gachas this one has actual gameplay beyond auto battling and minor interactives with full maps to explore and story to follow. While there are things like difficulty spikes and long farm times, if you decide not to focus on the gacha elements and enjoy the game as a normal game it really is one of the best out there.

I've been playing this game since it wasn't known much unlike now and I don't regret a single thing when I chose to try this out, the challenging stages and easter eggs is what keeps me playing this game and the cute warm welcomes from the Princess everytime I open my game always makes me smile. There's nothing I could complain about this game. The developers did a very great job on this!

Update: Playing it for a year now.. its still going good with the storyline.. this game is a beauty! I'm amazed! I have been looking for a good RPG game for a long time. This is by far the most exciting one I'm playing. The story is going good. Character and controls are good. And the annoying buy-now packs are not on the face, like in other games. I'm have already thought of suggesting this game to my friends who like RPG. Its easy to play, mixed with comedy. The art and music, just fabulous!

This is the perfect mobile game in my opinion, because the story, the characters, the visual and the gameplay is just amazing. There's a lot of content to explore and it's very fun to do so, not to mention this game is completely f2p friendly and there's no other games that are so generous as Guardian Tales. I want to say thank you very much to the Kakao Games for making this AMAZING game you guys are AMAZING individuals.

There's a lot of positives but there are also a lot of missions that waste your time because of unlisted requirements. I've gone into multiple missions I couldn't complete because there was no obvious marker that it needed to be a range hero and sometimes you'll have a ranged hero but the way they fire just doesn't work. It's just disjointed development problems

Overall I can say that this game is well made and I love it but there is a problem. I just realized they keep on releasing new character. You should take a break devs and start focusing more on pvp side of game like making it permanent. I also suggest a colosseum kind of gameplay for guild war. Raids are good but kind a repetitive so I suggest to level it up and make guild wars. I hope the devs also make a different type of energy for rifts and other gamemodes except story for a longer playtime.

Love the old school vibes and story of the game really interesting and would recommend but new heroes come out very often it helps cater to meta players but makes it difficult for new players to catch up. As it takes a lot of variation of teams to beat different stages. Gems ???? are generous but will be difficult to hit meta without spending some cash. Still overall its fun and F2P friendly to a certain extent.
