Very expensive and it changes constantly! Seriously, once or twice a month, and when a release causes an error in game play, their response is, "It looks good per our developers." They'll ask for a screenshot of the error, and after you send it they reply, (you guessed it) "It looks good per our developers. We don't see any errors.". Also, constant "in game" spam emails offering to sell you game resources. You have to spend over $1000 a month to get to a mid-level player for over a year!

Good game big community but it's pay to play. The rewards of the events are sub par it's too hard to keep up unless you are shelling out alot of money. Almost impossible to get the whole equipment set without spending. If you like to spend money to play, this is the game for you otherwise you are just meat in the grinder for the ones that do.

Game is a scam for lots of $ don't play it ever Also twice a month new equipment comes out and make old equipment useless. Rewards for events are close to nothing as far as game is concerned. I've played for 3 years and now to be competitive you have to spend thousands of dollars a month. Greed seems to rule the iron mask now unfortunately.

Spend money on equipment etc, next minute the change it and your purchase is worthless. They have taken most free stuff or of the game so you need to pay for nearly everything. The rewards for events won't even cover upgrades. They have changed this so you have to spend 10k at least a month to even be somewhat competitive. Then they will say, I'm sorry you feel this way or some other generic line they say to everyone, just as they will give for this post.

Yes this game can cost money a lot of money if you try to hurry up and be the best but if you just be patient and wait a little while a lot will come to you for free I only spend 10 to 15 dollars a week and I am still doing pretty good not as good as some I will admit but I have accepted I will never be the strongest just strong enough to beat you LOL

Let's you waste days of building a kingdom. Spending money to train armies and develop defenses. Then destroys is all in a couple of hours by a more advanced kingdom. There is NO WAY to overcome the obliteration of all you efforts even if you spend hundreds of dollars building. It was fun for about a week before the rug is pulled out from under you wasting hours of effort. Horrible feeling of loss and wasted time.

This game could have good potential, but there are so many glitches that simply make the game unplayable. The game lags extremely bad the moment it loads. Sometimes throughout the game certain options or letters will disappear or overwrite themselves with blurred letters.. Just before I left this review, I experienced a glitch where the "mail" button was overlapped by the "kingdom" button and there was no way to get to my mail without reloading the game.

It's OK, need to pay to win, and every update there's a new bug glitch. Century games. When you have the top players dropping 20k a month, New items coming out every month, it will take a none spender about 8 to 12 months to get enough items to craft one.new item, The spenders will get bored there's no-one to attack and quit, Just look at how many dead kingdoms you have already haha

Only thing that the developers work on is putting out changes to get money 1 to 2 times a month. Game play is horrible, alll set up to make you spend. Once you figure out game dynamics they change them. All kingdoms from 1 to whatever they are on have same buy options. When someone at kingdom 1 had already spent X amount on numerous changes now player in kingdom 756 can spend on one update. Also many items are a gamble cant buy out righ so they make you gamble to get items. Game changed to much.

You get 1 star, Additional stars can be bought with 400 elixir each. Only available in my store, it will cost you $9.99 USD per 4. This game drains you of your free time. Want to compete? Then you will quickly realize that without direct depositing your paycheck to them, adding them to your deed and as beneficiaries to your life insurance, you will be regularly crushed by those that have. You can buy a shield for 3k gold that will surely drop before you wake up.

Unplayable, in the minute you wait for the game lagg. You have been attacked all your resources and troops are gone. Three months later you may get a response from them. The only help they give is to suggest you clear your cache. Unbelievable, please don't waste your time or your money.

Fun to play but with every update, more software bugs and glitches. I'm sure with the next update, I will update my review to 1*. It might be a test to see how many players they can lose...until next update.

Great game... great community.. would recommend spending to speed things up however just about everything is attainable by some kind of free way(alot Time) (reason for change in stars game is getting more glitchy and the devs are more worried about adding new gear and stuff for purchasing then fixing the game) (the "free" stores no longer get updated with improved rewards this game is mainly a spending game now)

Every update this game gets worse, it crashes constantly now. New ways to pay to get more powerfull come out but bugs never get fixed. The game is just a grind now, same thing over and over every 2 weeks same thing sit under a shield or get wiped out by a player that pays to have an over powered castle.

Money hungry devs. Dev can't be bothered to fix the all the bugs, pretty sure they don't even know how to fix them since we've been playing with these bugs for over a year. All this 'company' cares about is your money, lots of in game gambling, which is absolutely shocking. Don't even bother installing this, the hour long intro they make you do is irrelevant to the game.

This game is a little different from the rest of the mobile games. Just keep loosening your pocket for this game. And there is nothing special in this game, it is the same, everything else happens in the mobile game app. Keep wasting your earned money in this game. And it is good for the one who does not have money, does not play this game. It is beneficial for the creator of this game and also for his team. You will be robbed of the public. ????????????????

I don't see why ppl are saying it's a 100% pay to play game.... I've gotten very far very fast in my eyes but I believe this game to be partially pay to play but realistically you only have to spend maybe a few bucks here and there ( less than 20 a month) if you want to... It does try your patience but still a decent game... Haven't had any issues yet...will update review later

It's been great I love this game so much and all the events I just wish you could do more to help us clear our inventory of dead stuffs. Anyways I love UAC bloodwar and all other events this game keeps me up all night fighting for my alliance....I never knew I would be into games like this but I thank God the day I downloaded it... you are amazing GOG keep up the good work....another thing please to fix the constant bugs in game and also make it more affordable Atwell

Entirely pay to win, top players are spending 20k a month and the developers of this game are more than happy to support them. Every new update is for them as non spenders/low spenders are neglected. In game event rewards are largely useless, very few quality of life improvements have been made. Little point in writing reviews because you get a generic response from an idiot who clearly doesn't care. The fact Gplay states they're based in the Cayman Islands says it all really.

The recent update that was just released has messed up the way most people play. Now we have to contend with this ring every time we tap something and most of us do not want it. Can you make it to where we can disable the tap ring? It's annoying and serves no purpose

very p2w , but due to rules on majority kingdoms, you can grow, but for how long who knows theres methods into building where you could successfully defend vs some spenders but obviously theres limits. (some are known to spend thousands per week/ month) game has connections problems but blames your connection even though during i could close app and play different game with 0 problem so its the game.

game is designed for spenders. if you don't spend and find a strategy to marginally compete, the game changes to make it harder for you. things like l8wer drop rates for equipment over the stated odds. spenders have a probability of approximately 2.5x better odds to get rare items. the algorithm punishes you if you don't spend and if that doesn't work then GOG will change things to make it even more difficult. do not download, you will regret it.

Expensive. The game itself is fun. Graphics are not the very best but the game itself is a great concept. Definitely a pay to play game. VIP support once you have the access to it is great. Regular support needs a lot of improvement for everyday players who don't spend as much.

You don't have to spend money but if you don't you will not have a chance. Best part of the game is meeting people from around tge world. A lot of them have left the game due to the pay to win that the game has been for a long time. It is a fun game.

overall it's a good game but I may have not got to my goal because it kept taking my points when I made just enough, even if you invest in as little as one dollar for help with points the game immediately burns it all down,I decided to leave but it is occuping for wanna be entertained

updated as of October 2025: this game is a crime against it's players and customers this game has 20,000$ castles , and 10,000$ guards...and that is not an embellishment it's literally that expensive a travesty to people with families and a career to play the most horrendous matching system in play store hands down and dev players in every kingdom to promote spending and monopolize on premium rewards.. ensuring you can't get them without enough spending

Im getting harassed by one of your employees and he keeps resetting resetting my progress and it been going on for 6 years example. I just built up my health gems to 6 and he resets them to 5, my cab got dropped from 684 to 617 in damage. I built up a stable and range to 47 he reset those to

The developers don't care and have been making it harder and harder for nonpay players and now they have made it so much harder for multicastle players I have 30 castles in this game and now I will delete

*Dead Game* Kingdoms are dead in approximately 2 weeks. I started playing this game in 2018 and the difference is horrible. This is a free to play but pay to win game with awful AI generated customer service that does not actually fix any of the in game issues. Delete this game! Also, most of the 4/5 star reviews seem fake.

Its hard to give up when you've put years of time and money into it. But it really is a very badly managed game where you have to spend thousands to stay near the top. Players drop out, some great fighters..but more innocents join, wallets open. Having said that, after 6 years I'm still here and love my kingdom and GoG family. Its our friends that make it fun ??
