Been playing for a day and I really enjoy it! The game is fun and challenging, but not frustrating, and I appreciate that the difficulty can be adjusted (I play on medium). There are sometimes ads but they do not interrupt gameplay. The coins you use to get hints can be obtained reasonably without forcing you to spend money, which I think is important too. I recommend trying the game!

I've been playing this game for years and its gotten better through time. You guys are awesome.???????? I'm really hooked up with the daily challenges. I love the daily password you added recently. Amazing!???????? I wish if you could add more of those. Also from the mini quests, specifically, more of the one's that you have to challenge yourself. Those ones that you can't miss because the whole puzzle will be wrong. Wow!???????? I'm loving it, hugely!????

The game is very enjoyable. I like that you can pick the different levels that you want to play. I realize companies need to earn income the number and frequency of these ads are a bit much. Biggest issues are 1. The number of ads that interrupt the game 2. The duration of the ads that interrupt the game 3. The fact that you can't x out of the ads without going to Google store is annoying as all can be.

Game is slowed by an excessively long time to load the app. Then the loading stops and waits for you to click a start button halfway through loading in order for it to continue. Then you have to click again (4x total) and wait for chest to empty in order to finally get to a screen where you can select a game. While you are playing the game an icon of a camera with the word "get" appears and blocks your view of the game until it is clicked. Ads aren't bad though.

Fun, but too many ads. The ads were super annoying, so I paid to get rid of them. Now in every level it asks if I want to watch an ad to get a gift. It won't go away! There's no setting to make this annoying thing disappear. Edit: In response to Fanatee's reply, I do understand that many people might still want these extra gifts from ads. That does not have to be delivered in an annoying way and there's no reason to exclude the option to disable it entirely.

I like the game. It's fun and at times challenging. I like that there are different types of puzzles to play. One complaint would be that some ads require you to press the x or escape button four (4) times!? to get back to the game. It's annoying. Otherwise good game.

The clues are definitely created by men. Would be nice if they could work on not using stereotypes. I'm generally not too put off by that kind of thing, but so far it's throughout almost every puzzle. I'll be uninstalling and finding something else. It's a shame, I enjoy the game play itself.

Great game - played for 4 years but just got a new phone and data won't upload across. I'm not starting again. Sad times. Shame when it's the same phone, just an upgrade. Support have contacted me and I'm sorted. I do get frustrated with American spellings and other spelling mistakes. Otherwise good brain training.

Good game for passing ten minutes here and there but then advertisements are far too long and multi-windowed meaning there is actually more time spent trying to get through ads than actually playing. I know some will think 'just buy it' but it's not like most people have disposable money at the moment so unfortunately I will uninstall and just play pool app lol.

I like the game when I can actually play without it freezing up. It freezes after every ad I watch to get tokens or assistants. It seems like I am having to restart the game, which requires me to restart my phone, more than I can play.

So fun and just the right amount of challenging! If you like wordle and cross word puzzles, this is a great game. The ads come about every two puzzles I think (you spend a bit of time on each puzzle), but worth it to pay for ad free play.

Game is fun and the kids like it. However I am very concerned about the age appropriateness of the ads displayed. With a game where the main character is a friendly little cartoon alien, you do not expect to see ads for games that depict adultery, child abandonment, sexual exploitation of women, and graphic violence! Horrifying to try to explain that to your child. :-(

I'm only giving 3 stars because I have not received the books that you were supposed to get for helping with the missions. Twice I've finished missions in time and didn't get the book. The first was the mission about felines and the second was the one about statues. Don't show a book for the library as a reward if you're not gonna give it to someone for completing missions. Other than that I love this game.

I love this game. It relaxes me, I play it everyday at work while I'm eating lunch and quite often for hours on my day off. But today my app icon was not on my phone screen. I had to go into Google playstore and manage my apps and hit cody cross and it gave me the option to play. I do I rectify the situation to get the app icon back on my phone screen

Really like this game but, had to give it two stars, after updating the app to the latest version it no longer supports split screen on my device!! (Don't know if this is the same for all devices)This is very frustrating as it's how I play the game and have done for as long as I can remember. Is there anyway this can be fixed and made so that the app is once again supported by split screen? I don't want to stop playing but I may have to find an alternative if I can no longer play it that way :(

A pity you have to manually click out of the ads to get back to the game. You need access to the internet to play this game as you cannot get past a chest without it. Annoying when one of the words used to describe the game is offline. Would be useful to know if there are any determining factors for getting extra letters

Game is fun while giving a challenge without it being so difficult that you dont have to pay to play. I'd give it more stars but the game just all of a sudden started freezing up where I can't play it.

I love Cody Cross. I had it on my iPad several years ago, then one day it just wasn't there. I'm happy to see it back! I do miss the setup with Cody crossing over various scenery though. If you enjoy newspaper crosswords you'll probably enjoy this. I like the little chime noises when you fill in the letters; I'm happy that exists in this version too. Cody u0026 friends are also really cute. I watch the adds to save up helpers for harder levels ahead.

I love that I learn something new every time I play. I appreciate that the levels aren't timed. Zero pressure. It's relaxing, educational, and fun. I also enjoy having the option to pick what level of difficulty I want to play.

Don't get me wrong. I really love CodyCross. I'd rate it a perfect 5 if only for the fun factor and the developers' diligence. Problem is, I think the developers got too diligent. The Missions used to be just 2 at a time, now there are 3, and there are just too many items in each mission. I barely have the time to play the standard 20-set worlds anymore because I'm too focused on finishing the Missions before they expire. Please hit the brakes on this. Some of us have regular jobs, you know.

"Puzzle-Game" type game involving logic, observation and/or thinking. Puzzle-games are games that call on your mind and your sense of observation to help you progress in the adventure or the story.
