It's missing the fun musical cues at the end of each level that the original Angry Birds had, and on mobile the play field aspect is so zoomed out that the birds and targets are tiny. Bad use of screen real estate. Everything is played in the bottom 1/4 of the screen, and the upper 3/4 goes unused. You cannot zoom in anymore, only zoom out, which makes it even worse. Maybe it's better on a tablet?

At last! The most loved version is back! And in it's original PC version layout. How can anyone not love playing this - it's on the same level as the old Classic Lemmings game in the 1990s, or the much loved Sonic the hedgehog. I only hope now that they (Rovio) will look after this very carefully so as not to spoil it originality. The only thing I personally would like added is the game is the Mighty Red Feathers levels, as they were classic with it's twist and interest.

Alright listen. I love this game, it's a timeless classic from the mid 2010's but it has some flaws So a few gripes: 1 i payed 1 euro for it, which makes sense. but then you guys decide to put in ads for other AB games. 2 some of the levels feel akward. like, don't get me wrong, i love the gameplay as i said. but i think for the newer gen of tech it's kinda, how do i put this, too fast? I'm really happy it's back, but also very indifferent about it. if the ads were gone this would've still 5'D.

I love that they brought back the original levels. However, the game physics wereruined.The birds are heavier, less bouncy, poof way faster, and extremely awkward, making many levels nearly impossible to get 3-stars on. Also, you'd think that a "remastered" game would fix some of the glitches of the original, but Mine and Dine still has that weird glitch where King Pig appears too often. Also, they are missing alot of sections including a third of Birdday Party, Red's Feathers, and Bad Piggies.

I'm glad this was released. I wish there was an option to start levels permanently zoomed out . I have to pinch in on every single level to get a better sense of aiming. Just add it as an option please. Also on a Pixel 6 Pro the game won't launch on the first try half the time. I have to tap to launch u003e see it freeze on splash screen u003e app switcher u003e swipe to close u003e swipe home u003e tap to launch. That happens about half the time on first launch of the day. Otherwise it's great after that.

This is a great remake of the classic Angry Birds! There are episodes missing(this only goes up to 7 plus Surf u0026 Turf which isn't numbered as episode 8 for some reason), and the "ads" google mentions are non-intrusive banners in the pause menu for other angry-birds games. Personally I don't mind that at all. This is definitely a right step for Rovio to take, here's hoping for more "Rovio Classics" titles(Angry Birds: Space would be a really good start).

This game is an amazing experience. Nostalgia all the way through, and you aren't bombarded with ads. The "ads" are only non-intrusive self promotional apps like Angry Birds 2, and they only appear when you open the menu. Additionally, no pay to win system or powerups makes this an Angry Birds fan's wet dream come true. The only thing I wish they would do is provide more of the original episodes (it goes up to birdday party and surf and turf). Overall very good job by Rovio.

Love the franchise and the games!!! This one is not bad but I'm not super impressed either. The graphics are well done but the interaction and physics are missing the "rightness" of the Original. I'm happy to spend a few bucks to reminisce and enjoy but I'm not enjoying the game much despite multiple tries on different days.

The classic returns! No distractions of powerups and intrusive ads, just you and the birds. I hope Rovio add more levels from the original and revive other games as well. Due to the new game engine there are some hiccups here and there. But they aren't major.

EDIT: There are ads for Rovio's games on the pause screen now. Changing to 3 stars. ORIGINAL: Great remake free of all the unfun exploitative BS of the mobile game market. It's just a simple strategy game with surprising depth, as it was originally. I would happily pay $5 for this game; 99¢ is a steal. As for the quality of the port I haven't experiences any bugs or crashing in the first world on my Note 8, and thanks to Unity I suspect this game will run on every device released for decades.

This game is just as amazing as I remember it! No more powerups, no more ads, just pure destruction of pig-kind! There are some things that i miss about the old one, though. Apart from the obvious worlds being missing, I don't see any of the rewards you get for finishing a world flying on the main menu, and some levels are harder than I remembered them being. Other than those small things I'd recommend this to anyone who wants to have a fun time.

The game is very close to the original, but some of the extra content added in later like the Mighty League and Short Fuse were removed, as well as the power ups. I know that most people are probably happy they were removed but it would have been nice available through settings.

Great low effort remake it look like it has been downgrade from original this is nowhere look like classic. Just please bring back levels missing, original physic, power up and daily challenges. Also add crosshair so you know where birds gonna land. That could be better. I'm give this 3 star because I'm still appreciate for bring back original angry birds, I really hope you guys can bring back other angry birds that has been removed.

This game is great, but the reason why I have only gave it 2 stars is because they haven't put as much effort into the remake, because of no boosts, like showing exactly where your birds will land etc. So I recommend you to play the actual game if you can.

Yknow, the game itself was excellent, and honestly you can't imagine how many people this raised. I mean heck I remember way back when, I was at my grandparent's house, watching old angry birds videos, and then after going on bad piggies to try and make my next huge machine to get the pieces to a map back. Honestly rovio thanks for bringing this back. (Kinda sucks it costs money) but still this is an amazing game. Thank you rovio.

Edit: The app promised no ads when I bought it, and now it has ads. Zero stars, I should get exactly what I was promised at the time of purchase. This is BS. --- ORIGINAL REVIEW --- It's the original classic, more or less just how you remember it. Why can't we have more mobile games like this where the goal is to create an engaging experience rather than to milk money from consumers through microtransactions? It's for this reason that I don't mind paying $0.99 for the app.

Controls are a bit basic but simple. Also it's not much different from the original game which is annoying because I was expecting more of a remake/remastered version. I would recommend this game purely because of the price. It gives quite a lot of content for only $1.

Just added ads for their other games as giant banners on the pause screen when the description for the game had said "no ads", originally. The game has started to crash now, seemingly because of this update, because it hadn't ever crashed before this.

This is a near identical remake of the 2012 state of Angry Birds. I love being able to play this on modern devices and it's just as legendary as it was before! I haven't come across any bugs or glitches either.

This game is pretty much how I remember it and is just as fun to play, but I think there are a few issues. I paid for this, so there shouldn't be any advertisements. I also think that there should be more abilities or boosters or whatever they're called like the slingshot scope, or the earthquake, etc. Other than that, this is a great game and is worth it.
