Well after understanding the game and going to leagues U will see a lot of players with maxed out decks while ur deck's cards are only lvl 11. As a 2.6 player it is really annoying and frustrating to go against a player with lvl 14 ebarbs rage deck that requires literally no skill. Also the pass royle is like a legal cheat. Not a recomended game if U wanna play it in a competitive way and being a f2p player only thing that U can do is buying the legal cheat(pass royale). Just play for fun.

Good game, currently level 14 at 6400 trophies. Very competitive which I like. Decent choice of cards makes for some intesting gameplay. Only down side is that this game can be terribly frustrating, so learning to walk away is something some people will need to learn, if you wish to keep your phone in one piece that is!

Good game ngl, but i don't really enjoy heroes that much since they are pretty op, also as soon as I finish playing a match the game crashes. I don't weather its me or you SuperCell, but i am still going to give 5 stars since I have been playing for a while, and I'm still enjoying the game!

This game used to be fun, but nowadays ever since the update with introduces e barbs and mega knight this game has totally turn into trash. People would be just spamming certain cards or the same deck in order to win. This game has lost its originality and creativity due to its overpowered cards. Hopefully they'll either remove certain cards or nerf them. If not this game will still remain boring.

Early stages of the game were amazing and fun to play. Except now it has become pay to win because I have been stuck ag 4800 trophies because I'm going up against level 14 cards while my cards are only level 11's because I refuse to spend money on the game. So I wouldn't suggest this game because it gets very annoying when you only go up against pay to win player and it just has gotten to a point where the toxicity is also at a all time high. So the game needs to improve in a lot of things......

Great game. Would give 5 stars but i have 1 complaint. Its hard to make money in game. Especially since it limits how much gold you can make from matches per day. I even bought pass royale but i think the bonus bank should reward players every 5 crowns instead of 10. That would at least make it a little easier for the paid players to make money after working all the way through the battle pass, considering the upgraded battle pass gives plenty of wild cards but not much money

The game is very fun. Though there are some odd situations, I'm not very happy that the game is pay to win, it takes a lot of dedication to become good and I'm a paying player. Secondly the match making is really bad, I try to make new decks, yet they are low level, and end up getting paired up with people who are maxed deck. There should be a default practice mode instead of it being an event. Other than those, I recommend this game.

This game used to be so much fun. The progression algorithm was challenging, yet fair, and the levels of achievement were satisfactory. With the recent update, this game has simple become another "pay to win" app. It's frustrating and sucks the fun out of the entire experience. It's sad to see honestly. Supercell has proven to have sold out to the mass consumers who are willing to spend money to achieve the higher levels of gameplay vs. earning it through the parameters of the game design.

Had it since it came out and worked my way up to challanger ranks before the updates. I returned to this game after some tiem. When I got back up on the game I noticed new changes; the clash pass, new cards, trading, wars and more. Trades allow you to get the best cards pretty early on screwing over every other player. The new cards some are way too overpowered i.e. Mega Knight and electro giant hardly anything can stop them. Wars aren't rank based. More money spentu003d More wins, rewards and etc.

Used to be a great F2P game, with the capability to get to the same level as people who pay through skill and minimal grinding. With the new level, I feel like all that effort of three years just went down the drain. Could have worked out if Scam Royale didn't happen and urged me to spend all my coins on now-useless upgrades. Getting cards back as an apology honestly wasn't necessary, as those are easy to get in late-game regardless of rarity. It was the loss of gold that ruined it. RIP CR.

Community ruins it. I'll be the one to say it, I see how much people spam annoying emotes and stuff to getcha angry. Game is fantastic, your opponent can have better cards yeah, but you can overcome it if you pair up the right counter. Would be a 4/5, but I'm rating it for the game as a whole. Supercell made a phenomenal game, but people just love ruining good stuff.

The introduction of lvl 14 cards is an obvious cash grab. People who have been playing for years no longer have max cards... They want to you keep buying these microtransactions that get worse by the year to level up your cards. When is it going to stop? Imagine spending years/big money to max your cards then they raise all the levels to 15. It's going to happen again. I'm done.

Honestly they've added so many cards that the game is a mess. The match making is pathetic. Level 11 vs level 14 and all this happens after i spent money on the game. It keeps putting me against really difficult opponents so to lose and spend more i think. It was amazing all those years ago but now its all about level of cards and and not to mention the insanity in amount you have to pay to upgrade the cards at higher levels and how many cards are required. If youre not a genius dont expect good

I love the game but it can be very frustrating at times, it is a little pay to win as there are a lot of shop offers. I think that the draft right now is very unfair and the picks need a balance, it gave me the choice between a goblin giant and skele barrel. The game is really fun in general and I love it as it was made by supercell and I have played all of their games. It does need a balance during an update that makes the draft better and maybe reduce some of the shop offers. Try it out.

This used to be such a fun game and a strategizing game, but now it became a "pay to win" game. Supercell released overpowered cards and new level 14. I worked so hard to get some of my cards to level 13 but now it was a complete waste of time. These new cycle decks became extremely annoying and unfair and have no strategy, you just spam random cards and place the main card to win. They just give some overprice deals just for us to buy to upgrade our cards.

Well this game is very polished, and definitely feels like a true strategy game. But the developers are the true EA of mobile gaming, this game is totally pay to win and it is extremely hard to win without spending money. Eventually the game gets stale and you realize that your effectively winning every other game. I firmly believe they take the card in your deck into account when matching you because I have been consistently winning just enough games to keep me playing. Don't be fooled.

I love this game! But, often times, my screen was still loading on 81% yet the match had already started, the opponent's troops has already dealt a lot of damage to my towers and i have just entered the game. Please fix this bug. And balance the cards please! So it's truly about strategy!

Was fun before I got stuck on an arena, they don't do anything to prevent toxicity, the matchmaking is dog, I've ran into people with hunter, witch, hog rider, skeleton giant, you name it! In arena three. Disappointing how a company as big as this pays little attention to the fanbase, please don't download the game, unless you are willing to pay your life savings and put it towards pixels, maybe nerf a few things? Give me people that AREN'T way out of my league and I'd consider rating it better.

As a veteran of this game, take it from me and do not bother installing now. Unfortunately, the game has progressively become more and more pay to win. To play, you place and level cards and attempt to take the king's tower. Simple, until you realize that if you buy the battle pass, you can easily start OVER leveling cards. The player base is no better either, as once you reach certain points, the battles become monotonous with every player having the same deck. Overall the game is poor quality

The big negative that finally made me stop playing at about 6400 trophies and 5 years, is the incredibly boring meta. Out of 20 games, 19 decks will be the same ones copied from webpages, no one try their own strategy and you WILL face the same few combos over and oooover. Some decks just have one attack card and the rest def, making it incredibly drawn out and predictible facing those. Others just have a niche powerful combo making it very hard if you don't happen to have the right counter.

I played this game years ago and decided to pick it up again earlier this year. It was just as great as I remembered until they recently changed it into a pay to win game. Match making is absolutely terrible. You will come across king level 11s that have max level cards while you're sitting there with only level 11-12 cards. Completely unfair and skill/strategy can only get you so far. It's pretty unfortunate considering how good this game used to be.

The game is horribly unbalanced. Even after looking up counter plays to the mega knight, it will still nearly wipe everything I have placed down, with only a marginal success increase after changing my strategy. The card is simply too strong. Even using other cards meant to shred high hp tanks, like the inferno dragon, the knight can deal half a towers worth of damage before dying. And that's not even accounting for any cover they've sent him afterwards.

Imagine going against the same deck 4 times in a row, and what do you know but the deck that your facing completely counters the deck that your running. It's a christmas f#%$ing miracle how this game is still relevant to some extent. Fix your god damn awful match-making algorithm. It promotes nothing but bad reviews like this one. Congrats on making me write my first ever review on a mobile game.

Absolutely brilliant game. There is no doubt in that. It's really fun but as you have read before. Yup, it's the match making. I'm level 12 and I hardly see a level 11 or 12. It's always 13 like I have a good day and I'm like. Let's play clash royale. I hop into a match and lose to a fricking level 13/14 with maxed cards and there's my average level 12 deck.

My only complaint thus far is that we cannot choose how many wild cards to use. For instance I have 0/200 cards and only want to use 1 Wild card. The game does not give me the option, it is all or no wild cards. This is inconvenient on epic Sundays when I want to donate cards to my clanmates but have 0/200 epic cards. It is not worth it to use all of my epic cards to fulfill one donation request. If we could select how many wild cards to use then I could use one wild card to help my clanmate.

It's a fun, addictive game.. at first. The game is pay to win. The only way you're getting all of your cards to max level is by pulling out the credit card. I've been playing this game for over 5 years now and I STILL don't have a fully maxed out deck. The newest update added lv14 cards and champions, which further necessitates the need to spend money to have any semblance of a fair match. The matchmaking is absolute garbage.

Game used to be fun but there's lots of issues now, let's go over them 1. Cards that no one cared about were buffed for no reason 2. Cards that people loved were nerfed for no reason 3. Hackers run this game and prevent you from getting anywhere at all 4. Even when you don't get a hacker, you're deliberately ranked against someone that has a counter for your deck, I'd assume based on how much money they've spent, seeing as they always have max level troops Fix these issues and I'll try again

The game is extremely fun. I've been playing since 2018. Don't get me wrong here, the lvl 14 update set a lot of players (including me) back. That definitely could have handled the update better. As for other reviews saying it's pay to win, they are partially correct. Spending money allows you to have an advantage because your cards are stronger, nevertheless as you keep playing you get better. So it's really a skill issue. Matchmaking pairs you up with people who have similar card levels.

I don't know what to say, It's clash royale, it's a classic game,everyone used to love it but lately it's just not for me anymore. If I try to play a match, mid ladder is just mega knight decks with like 6 other win conditions and I don't have the energy or skill to face such things. If I try to play at war I always go against overleveled players who have spent money into the game, and have more than one playable deck so I can't help my clan properly either. New updates aren't helping (lv14).

This game uses to be very fun but now it is worse and worse every time I play it. A blatant cash grab that is rigged in payers favor. I go against people with max cards, who have all paid to get there and it is frankly impossible to win. A decent game ruined by greed. Would never reccomend. If you don't spend money, you will definitely not have a good experience in the long run.

Terrible. I have had this game for five years and this game has turned terrible. I Hate going against players that have level 14 cards as a level 11 king tower. Also this game used to have but strategy to spam at the bridge. 0/0 don't get. Another thing is that this game is pay to win and if you don't have 200$ to spend you can't do anything really except grind and they want you to buy everything. Also people say I'm just bad but this game is the impossible to play unless you have lots of money.

The core of the game is crazy good and addictive, but yes, you will hit a point where you can no longer progress because the opponents will have significantly better cards. This will happen at some point unless you spend crazy amounts of money. When you hit that point, the game will get to be very frustrating to play. I've probably deleted this app off my phone a dozen times but keep coming back because it's that good overall. Looks great on the new Pixel 6 Pro.

It was unfair I always have enemy above my level and I always get that experience untill my tropy is decreased dramatically and I don't like when i open tge chest i didn't get a good card even I pay so much just for chest but still didn't get a good card IT WAS AN UNFAIR GAME EVERRR. This is the only game that I've downloaded that i continually have had connection issues on a frequent basis and it seem hacked often because the connectivity issues seems to happen only when I'm on a winning streak and ahead in a game.. never seems to happen if I'm way behind in a game.. that's why it seems to be hacked even though Clash Royal team denies this..

The game is a scam. You first download and play the game, get to arena 3 enjoying the game so far, and then boom, every single player you fight has overpowered cards from arena 7, and the only way to get any card as good is to pay money. The game is fun, but there is no enjoyment for people who don't pay to play.

Played since day one but I'm quitting, they do not care about the game or it's people. It has become toxic and pay to win. My suggestion is don't bother with this game unless you want to spend a bunch of money to play the same stuff as everyone else. I'm adding again that you need to make it possible to report toxic people, I'm going to start a campaign against you soon I swear to God.

This game is bad. The matchmaking is rigged, you get paired up with people 1 or 2 levels higher than you, with cards that are way too over leveled. This is all because of the pass royale just for a little of money you can litteraly over level your cards and your king tower and easily sweep through the arenas and other players. This game used to be fun back in 2017 through 2019. It has been ruined by pass royale and it is just pay to win now. Please make your game fun again supercell.

DO NOT INSTALL it is completely stacked against you unless you put hundreds of dollars into the game or spend hundreds of hours just to progress i spent 200 gems on continues mind you came from like 2 years of playing. Its not worth it. i got put up against people who counter every card i had IN A MEGA DECK CHALLENGE! Like how? The same deck 9 different times. Also i crashed before loading into a game and it still counted as a loss absolute joke of a company f u surpercell

Game is definitely a major cash grab. And no strategy whatsoever. At first I had a strategic deck and couldn't win. For an experiment I bought everything available and put it all into a deck full of the most random cards I had. No strategy at all. I have now blew through 7 arenas without a loss. Oh yeah if you think they keep it fair. I figured out a way to get around their system and get legendaries from the last arenas when I was still just in the second arena. Game is flawed and careless

Used to be really fun but the matchmaking is rigged harder than ever before and I do not need supercell to tell me otherwise because it's clear to everyone. Still fun to play like a match or two every couple of days. And it still hooks you just not as enjoyable with the current matchmaking. Also I've been playing for 7 years and doesn't a lot of money. It has always been rigged matchmaking. Watch any YouTuber play and you will notice them saying it as well.
