Great game, but with not a lot of content yet. 1 star because of the notifications. First off they're labelled as "3", I don't know if it's a mistake or an attempt to make them harder to find in the settings.. But the notifications does not fit the Android guidelines at all. The font is insanely big, maybe in an attempt to make them more visible than the others notifications. There is also a huge image and background to the notification that does not being anything useful...

Been playing this game for a long time now and at a decent level. Recently I have found I am losing an awful lot of arena matches to far weaker opponents and to the same opponents. When I challenge them back I beat them easily. Something just doesn't seem right. Either a bug or some sort of cheating. Also I can watch my arena score lower after not losing a match. Very close to uninstalling unless you look into this.

Has auto-battle but devs replied it was on a limited basis and only in modes suited for it so gave it another try. All I've been doing is pressing battle and your army just plows down the opposing army, effortlessly. Then you can place a flag to spawn units there. There's no use for it but shaves off a few seconds. And there isn't much to do in terms of placing units before battle other than don't put ranged units up front. Maybe I haven't played enough but I don't have time to wait for it.

Decent game. Needs much improvement and better coders. Too many bugs but overall a good game. Beware it is a cash grab. Yes u can play without paying but takes alot of grind and time to get anywhere...and I mean ALOT....edit: the game has gotten quite a bit better and much more interesting and competitive as well..I see the game going in the right direction but still needs some sorting out to do but none the less it more enjoyable these days than in the past. Good job aow team!!

I've been playing for around 2 years ànd it's a really fun game overall but once you reach a certain point it becomes hard to progress. I understand why it is that way but maybe they could offer more options, like the shape of your formation, or another line to your formation grid to keep it more interesting once it starts to become boring. Days at a time without being able to upgrade or anything makes it hard to want to play sometimes

Game play is not always fair at all. I can have same formation type but stronger as well as stronger hero. And the damage done by me is not even close to the damage dome by the one I am facing. I have a level 15*** and I lose to Aly level 13. Lower level troops as well. Very similar formations as well. And the damage done by my Aly compared to the other Aly. It is like I am level 13 and not 15. And my hero dies way faster then my opponents. Same with troops.

Been playing this everyday since September, the only 2 things that does really annoy me is I attack on the area and get 1+ but they attack and get like 6, 7 or 8+ and also when it's says they are weaker than you and there actually not. But in all its a really addictive game we'll I think it is.

Started off good but now I can't even challenge, or essentially play any gamemodes without the app kicking me out. Everything else about the game Is fine but the crashing and being unable to play the game once without it crashing just ruins the experience as a whole

I had two bad experiences back to back where I made a purchase, and the game marks it as a failed payment. I contacted the support and got the problem fixed, but after losing a day without the perks of the purchase. They offered no compensation for the loss caused by their bug.

You gave players an overview of what the last update would include, but NEVER mentioned to players that the game mechanics surrounding how troops and heroes behave would change. You turned the game upside-down without warning and with no guide or directions, and it will ultimately negate the progress many players have made, and make months/years of work virtually worthless. Unprofessional, dishonest, underhanded and shady. There's no way to justify this, so a response isn't necessary.

Beautiful game!!!Its game UI is amazing and its graphic has improved a lot since i played it.I never got tired of this game and the units are so unique.Im into this game but i think this game could add more and more units so that i can have an even better experience in the game.In summary, i feel this game is amazing and ill keep playing it! Fact 1. Battle reports are useless u0026 don't mean anything if there are different result numbers after multiple identical battles. Fact 2. The numbers mean nothing - Math is always final. And why in each season review they mention just 6 or 7 heros that are useful out of around 40? Fact 3. 80% of heroes are useless. Fact 4. There's too many currencies. Fact 5. I'm getting tired of this game u0026 the inconsistent results u0026 hero imbalance. Fact 6. Developers don't listen.

I love it, I've been playing this for a good while(over a year) BUT - The ads are very intrusive. It would be nice to reduce the mind numbing onslaugt of commercials. Especially when higher level players have to do so much more! I'm probably going to give it up soon. Too many commercials for the upkeep. Also, the higher I go in level, the more I HAVE TO purchase to keep up with my challenges. Over $40 into Ivan alone! I really do like the game though. Shame. There will always be other games...

My #1 complaint is my 25% chance of the troop I want in fusion. Spent over 30000 gems never got the troop I wanted. Lies. Also the troop hero strength means nothing in any battle anywhere. It isn't even a guide to where you need to battle and who against. I have played every day for almost 3 years straight. Still I loose to ppl spending loads of money. Yet I spend money myself every month. I play 6 to 8 hours a day every day on average.

Used to love this game, been playing it for a few years. Unfortunately however the December update has completely ruined the balance and fun of the game for me - impacts all game modes. EDIT: have removed a star again, instead of focusing on addressing the dramatic imbalance of December you're now adding more troops, in addition you've somehow made the balance of the game stack towards Aly again.

The game is fun to play. I have a great issue with the time frame of the battle pass. I'm not sure what the developers are smoking here. It has 14 days and it's nearly impossible to reach the end level. We have to literally win every arena challenge to reach even level 15. This is broken. See the stats on how many people complete the battle passes. This is a big issue and a deal breaker for me

The concept and game is great. Unfortunately after the last update either my device or the AOW Server can no longer support the amount of data and/or players it takes to run this game smoothly anymore. The game clock for battles runs at 1/2 to 1/3rd of real time which is way too slow. Ads run normally so the problem is with the game itself on either AOW's end or mine. Again, this problem just started with the last update. I lowered my rating from 5 to 1 star after playing for a year now.

Don't waste your time and money with this. It calls itself a "strategy game" but there is zero strategy. There is zero consistency between battles anymore. I played this game for over two years, and now they have made it unplayable. I used to enjoy trying to maximize what pieces I had to match up against opponents. It used to be a good "rock-paper-scissors" game with many variations of each. Now it is nothing more than toss 50 D20 and hope. That is not fun nor worth spending time or money

It's a fun and very challenging game, although the cheating gets worse every season and it is not being addressed. Every defense can be beaten, so cheating players have created multiple accounts that they use to attack high ranked players from targeted clans. Targeted players can unfairly lose 200 trophies on the final two days, -15 at a time

Absolutely undeniably unequivocally rigged, so you lose the more you play. Too much randomness, no clear strategy that works. The developers change the gameplay at will and always the same people at the top. Blatent use of bots too. Weaker teams beat you no matter how much money you invest in upgrading your army. Just don't bother.

In head hunt you should keep only one level in both winter and desert And gems keep 60 and 40 instead of 20 and 30 as these are autogames and no use it's time waste. Reduce battle games to 50 Instead of 100. And multi rewards. This will increase game capacity

The game is very fun and there is a lot to do. There is also a Discord server where you can go through all the resources. Been playing it for almost 3 years and still enjoying it.

Yes, I know first hand that weak armies with weak strengths (based off of YOUR strength rating) can beat stronger armies. I can't beat enemy with half my strength or 3/4 my strength. I have 22 lvl 10 9 troops and lvl 15 3 star hero. I can see the enemy has lvl 9 because of their color, yet they beat my lvl 10 like nothing. What is the point? Tell me. 18 months and I see YOUR strategy is to just keep suckers putting in effort and money and pissing down their legs. Pathetic.

This is my favorite game. I like battling in the arena, building up my army and getting to know all the different strategic formations to kick opponents' armies butts in pvp battles.

Game balance is not there. Ali is too strong for all the other heroes and troops. The game constantly has issue where heros or troops are not following their specs.

It use to be great now it just freezes moves slow and boots me. Over and over I deleted files on my phone and other apps thinking it was the problem . I uninstalled an reinstalled still Same problem I'm done

I started playing this game from approximately Augest 28 2021, started of easy and as you progress, harder challenges begin to approach. It's really fun and can change your mood. I'm about to be addicted.

I've been playing this game for like 2 years, I finally made it to level 8000, which is Max on levels and then you start gaining different prizes after that. Anyway the game crashes and makes my phone restart then it will not allow me to log in, so I have to uninstall the game and reinstall the game this is happening multiple times per day now. what's going on?

It used to be a fun game. Now, if I had to start over, I would not. You have to spend thousands to get competitive if you don't want to spend 3+ years slowly building the heroes. Then they update and in one day that hero you spent either $$ or loss of time building up is no longer playable.

Been playing for two years. You will never catch up with the original older players. The devs keep adding new heroes and troops to satisfy the older players and they are the only ones who can take advantage of the new stuff because they have the resources. I use mine just to survive. Then you have the arena...the devs are constantly changing the meta data of the heroes and troops so that when you think you have a winning form...you don't. Older players can adapt because they have troops and her

Amazing! like the concept of creating your own variation of troops and hero to battle against your foes. Also, the fact that there are many types of heroes and troops to be combined or mix can create a new attack strategy. Other than that, i hope new creative ideas—new troops, modes, attack and defense strategy, and heroes— will be added.

Game is super glitchy after I did the most recent update. Honor hunting isn't available when launching the app but becomes available after an unknown period of time. Numerous network error messages when accessing multiple areas of the game. The game is almost unplayable.

Good game and fun to play. But being a strategy game it falls short of supporting long-term strategy. It takes years to level up the powerful heroes to level 16 or 17, and then the developers will nerf them and buff a different hero, undermining years of strategy and patience you invested into it. Stupid, really.

This game was fun, balanced, and competitive. Recent updates have made it all but unplayable. There is no diversity or skill left in the game only luck. Everybody uses the same hero, troops, formations and power level no longer matter. I will not be paying for anything in this game until the competative balance has been restored, and I suggest nobody else give them any money either. Edit: The devs have made some improvements, but there is still much to be done to restore arwna balance

I really used to enjoy this game. But with the latest updates, the developers have ignored played feedback and made the arena (main part of the game) a boring 1 hero tapestry. They nerfed other heroes, didn't communicate well, didn't admit mistakes were made, and focus on the unimportant fixes. I hope things get fixed...a top 500 with multiple viable heroes on defense and offense are vital to the success of the game, and would make me change my rating. Here's hoping for the best.
