Game looks inviting but a lot of problems. Game constantly crashes when watching a video or starting a battle. The grind to upgrade is extreme and if you want to improve it will cost you real money. The materials needed to upgrade heroes and equipment are few and far between. I spent way more than I wanted and still grinding to upgrade. Sorry, but I don't recommend it. Also, nothing yet done about in game issues and I expect nothing will be done as long as someone is buying chests or emeralds.

It's boring after PVE is skipped because of level. I started playing during Covid lock ins and took it more seriously after a year. At a certain level, PVE can be skipped, so I found myself logging in for the free stuff intervals, watching ads, doing some PVP battles, and then logging off. It's like a game that you log in to watch ads most of the time. 90% of my characters are maxed, and I've been waiting for more PVE, but they just keep adding characters and no new PVE content. It's stale.

Don't bother. Extremely difficult to upgrade characters unless you spend real money. They change things to make it even more difficult to upgrade for free to play. They ruined hydra shop. On top of that they add new heroes constantly which makes it even more difficult. Don't waste your time.

Game is good but after playing 5 minutes the game showed a tutorial of unboxing a chest and it got stuck there, i click everywhere on screen but nothing happens, there is no option to get back, only showing "click anywhere to continue" but when i click, nothing happens. And game crashes everytime showing technical error occurred. Fed up with these kind of stuff. Fix it

This game is really bad. I lost a bunch of credits because I couldn't log on before an event ended. I tried updating the game cause it kept telling me to but when I tried repeatedly it kept saying" something went wrong". I've had other issues which I never complained on so I decided to report this issue. There was nothing done to fix the issue so I'm done with this game after playing for years. Don't waste your time or real money!!. Look at the other reviews. I read them tried. Waste of time!!!

Saw an ad, the game looked fun. I downloaded it, and the game is nothing like the ad. They literally showed gameplay in the ad that is not even relevant to the actual game. False advertising if you ask me. Imo, games like this should be stricken from the store for deceptive tactics. What crazy is, the game in the ad looks fun. Kinda want to play it. It wouldn't have been hard to make it an actual game...

Constantly crashes while in the middle of a fight. Now it doesn't even finish loading: when it's about to load it says "you've been away for too long, reload the game" and then there's just a "quit" button. How is that I've been away for too long when I just played yesterday??? My game is up to date, it makes absolutely no sense. If it is not fixed I'll uninstall it right away!

JUST. DONT. Many of the features u0026 awards aren't available unless you buy them at ridiculous costs. They try to make it look like you are getting a good value by saying its %55 off or %80 off, but seriously anything priced over $5 and you are paying too much. Raid feature must be purchased as well. There needs to be more opportunities for coins. What happened to the puzzles? They end after the first three chapters. *They did reduce the cost slightly on some of the more repetitive features.

Love this game but having issues recently with the ads not registering and i have to watch several times or it comes up with a black screen and i have to restart, particularly frustrating with the heroic chest that doesn't regenerate after a failed ad. Also, the reason i started playing this game was for the tower which i completed quickly and no new levels have been added despite the message saying it will...

Money pit. Implementation of talismans fundamentally changes the way the game will be played. It will become a game of chance rather than skill. Those of us who have spent years developing heroes and strategy will all be for nothing. Thanks for breaking the game. Way to listen to your influencers as well. I'll be quitting the game the day this goes live.

Having problems getting game to release rewards in the email section. And not its not letting me collect from expeditions or start new ones. Now I had to awaken all my titans' artifacts again. It's like I never put anything into them. Not happy. Need to fix some of these glitches. It was good when I started. What happened??? Many bugs have to fixed. Working much better now. I am happy again ☺️

The first screen asking about terms and conditions literally lets you check off what you want. Like the "I agree to the privacy policy" and other things such as "I hereby agree to the transfer of my personal data to third parties" But the button to move past that page literally says Acept all u0026 continue. Negating the choice altogether. How wonderful! ❤️

New version glitchy as hell, constant freeze ups leading to reboots and no enjoyable game play. Power ratings are worse than wonky now. Used to like the game, probably will stop playing soon.... money pit... think I'm outta quarters... programmers must lose track of changes to the algorithms... or aren't smart enough to know what they're doing... was better once upon a hero war....

Very fun and engaging! Lots of variety and game modes, including teams and PvP if desired. Not very many puzzles if that's what you're looking for. At the very high levels it's a bit "pay to win" but less than most other games. It has ads to earn boosts and perks, but you choose to watch them if you want, which is a big plus. Super great and responsive tech support. All in all, I really like this game.

Graphics are pretty cool. Characters are plentiful, with options of what you prefer. And other then could use constant energy, Helpful support team and enjoyable game. But has many issues to solve and equal /balance out before it will be a game that keeps people.

Installed for the puzzle in the ads, was forced to play boring RPG between every 3-5 levels. Got told I finished 100% of puzzles in less than 3 hours of playtime. Not only is it false advertisement and a poor attempt at not getting sued over it, the actual advertised part isn't in the game, just the concept.

Meh. Functions well enough, but it's just another copy/paste of other gatcha games. There's a few levels of the game from the ads, but then it's jump stage by stage campaigns, gathering equipment over and over, and trying to summon better heroes.

Pretty captivating game, lots of interesting things to do everyday too and pretty easy to play too. Some parts require real thoughfulness to proceed too, which makes it more interesting. You can tell effort was put into the game. Almost thought it'll disappoint after giving us pretty ads but I'm pretty impressed

Like most of these kind of mobile games. You start out with plenty of resources to progress. But soon it becomes very apparent that unless you pay, you won't be playing much, let alone progressing very far. I run out of energy just trying to evolve one character now. Just go into this game knowing it's very very heavy on the p2w scale.

I have been playing this game for ages ( over 2 years). Nexters is non-stop milking players. Introducing new heroes that can be maxed only if you pay for resources. So if you are competitive, this game is for those only who have deep pockets. They constantly introduce new changes in the game (they claim to keep it interesting), usually for the worst for the players. And they do not care if people are upset. A recent change (hydra shop) made many top players give up and leave. Nice move....

Extremely grindy, nothing like you are advertised and on top of that they constantly make greed fueled decisions that ruin the game for the playerbase. Recently changed an infinite buy shop to a refresh cost which makes the game worse for 90% of players but they want you to spend emeralds so they get more money. It's sad ????u200d♂️ If you want to lose lots of money and/or time then feel free to download this game, otherwise just completely avoid it if you want to save money and play better games

Very poor choices of upgrades. The new Hydra shop is awful ????. Adverts for rewards are annoying, usually have to watch adverts twice for 1 single reward, complaining doesn't help, nobody does anything. Deffo a money grab from big spenders, f2p beware, you've no chance.

There are multiple game modes, particularly if you join a guild. Autoplay is a big part of battles, but there is strategy to choosing which heroes or titans to use - a weaker synergistic team can beat a stronger one. Leveling up characters is multi-faceted, takes time, and tempts pay to play to be competitive. If you have the time and patience to farm resources daily, you'll successfully rise slowly, but highest boosts still need purchases.

Game started out as a good way for me to kill time, but the more I play the more glitches I've noticed. Video ads that are set up to watch in order to receive rewards are often glitched. You watch the video and... no rewards. In-game rewards don't keep up with hero growth, so it puts pressure on player to pay for any real progress.

Forces you to accept your data being sold to third parties during setup. Actually forces - even if you unmark the option, it marks itself back on. Then offers you no option to opt out. I'm pretty sure this is an actual crime under GDPR. Edit in response to the dev comment: I placed a ticket. Then I uninstalled and requested my data be erased from your servers. I have received no response whatsoever to any of the requests.

Really want to give this game a 5 because I've enjoyed it so much, but a recent update really showed the developers are trying to aggressively push micro-transactions. While there were micro-transactions before, they weren't pushy about it and you could enjoy the game without them. Now they're making a key feature of the game nigh impossible to complete without buying in-game resource bundles. In other words, pay-to-win

The game is immersive! Lots of fun leveling up your favorite Heroes. Very easy game play. You can reap your rewards through the game's transparent mechanics.. no need to "hunt" to see if you missed something. After 6 months of playing I still check in daily.

A fun waste of time ... Some of the game play is boring - you pick your "hero" and put them in battle. Many of the battles are automatically done - you just sit and watch. Easy to level up and replay battles. Can be a huge money suck if you have to have the best this or that instantly. Cute graphics but some graphics don't match up between different areas of the game - some graphics are anime cute and others border on adult themes and sexual. Still fun though. Some battles can challenge. ????

Progress in level doesn't match with the progress in campaign missions. I started playing this game 15days ago. My hero power is 37717. But i am unable to pass campaign missions of part 7. You should have set the difficulty based on persons progress. For getting parts for heros you have to play a mission again and again after soo much tries you get a part for hero to promote it. You can only watch maximum 8 videos in theater in a day. I am really tired of all this.

Overall a pretty fun game. It's pvp system is not as confrontational as some other games which can be good and bad. Cute graphics and the game mechanics have some strategy to it which is fun. Suggestions: 1) A more engaging pvp system 1a) A dual battle system for 2 v 2. 1b) Changing up the Guild Wars to allow 2 players to attack 1 defender at the same time (To reduce dead ancient guilds earning top rank when maybe few players even play anymore). 2) Reduce tediousness of daily quests by half

I got this game for rewards toward my main game. I've seen many ads for it, wondered what the all the hype was and figured I'd give it a try. I quickly became addicted to it and several months later, it is now part of my regular gaming regiment. Overall, I am satisfied. However, the green gem rewards are a bit skimpy. There are 4X rewards playing other games, which is helpful, but unless you make purchases, you will never keep up to other players who sink mega money into the game.

When you first begin the game is good. But after you reach a certain level it becomes pay to win. And furthermore pay to progress. Sure after months of grinding you can progress freely but in that time everyone paying has so far exceeded you that you can't win. All new skins that are very OP are locked behind paying for them. And the servers are showing off that plenty are willing to pay. Fun game, but like all games aimed to make a profit. Still a fun time waster for a 30 minute lunch

Note: this game is AODRM (Always-Online-DRM), that's why the 1st time I tried the game it doesn't even start. Edit: after playing it for (maybe) 2-3 hours, I have to say that the game doesn't have any need to be AODRM, and just for that it's hard to give it more than 3*, but there's more, after a little bit it's progressively hard to progress at normal pace without endless grind or (you guess it right) PAY. Well it is fun-ish for a bit.

Always new upgrade to scam player. Like hydra shop upgrade to unnecessary extract money , also doing false announcement. The game is too costly for new player , new heroes changed the game . Also the game is completely different from their false advertisement.

Here lately the ads have not been delivering as promised. Customer support for both The advertiser and the game blame the problem on each other which means they're both useless. If they actually looked at the problem and fixed it the review would be different.

This is not a real war game: it is a collect and build/assemble game with mediocre ideas, repetitive game play and some major design flaws (unbeatable(!!!), ever regenerating characters; way too strong defensive settings - who wants to play a game when u loose 75% of the time...). And of course, the usual greed when it comes to buying or spending gems. Over time it becomes tidious and boring - if a game becomes a chore, it is no fun anymore.

Hero wars is a good game to play lots of events that continue to change and improve the dynamics of the game. While it is difficult to upgrade your characters they do provide many free options and events to help you out and if you focus on a few main characters then expand from there it is achievable. Would like to see more of the level puzzles they added a section for them which I finished in one day then it says more levels coming soon but that has been months ago

Fun game, but only has a small percentage as advertised. The game has a strategy and is a lot of fun. They do a lot of events to keep the game fresh. The events sometimes cause crashes or bugs, but the development team fixes them quickly and provides resources due to the inconvenience.

It's a fun game, lots of events, lots of characters to choose from and build teams around, but it can be expensive. It's definitely a pay to win kind of game. You can still build decent heros without spending, it will just take a lot longer. Update: still playing daily, still fun, still expensive!

Awesome game but be aware that in order to be competitive you must either soend money on in-game purchases or be very patient and play for a long time until you can get as strong as those who are spending. It's totally doable but it's a long road full of bumps on the road and sometimes frustration. That aside I really enjoy playing Hero Wars.
