Really nice independent management game in the series; and the Elder Scrolls universe is not forced in, it just exists. But it requires constant attention, plus daily login+microtransaction to get most out of, which is not for me. I'd give it 4 stars but I docked 1 star because game runs great on my ARM Chromebook (and phone) but a lot of people have had problems on Chromebook and now I cannot even modify my good "runs great on mine" 4 star review there to turn it into a proper review.

This game makes a fantastic job to hook you up into to the gameplay for the first 20th lvl. Then everything becomes incredibly slow... It is also extremely time consuming as you need to be in the app every 3 minutes to collect your resources. Also the "pass" is a 17 bucks montly subscription and you can only collect the 5 last premium rewards that you unlocked while leveling up thinking you ll make a bargain buying at a higher level.

Okay first of all, this is really fun. Everyone's gonna say it's a Elder Scrolls version of Fallout Shelter, which is partially true, and while that may be it is still a fun little experience at heart. Lots of leveling options, either for gear or room, could be more varieties of the different characters, and I really can only complain about the aging system. Characters live to about 80 years and then they die and you lose them forever. I would rather just have the option to keep all my subjects.

This game is amazing! I love it! It's literally fallout shelter but actually a bit better. With a new theme and game mechanics. Well worth the wait! However... Sigh... The year long wait until it was available to be played did nothing for how well the game runs. It is hamstringed by CONSTANT freezing. When I go to make a ruling. It seems the game just gives up. The animations go into a loop and I cannot do anything! I can hear the game working but the animations seem to have given up.

It's pretty much a Fallout Shelter copy u0026 paste. It's not groundbreaking or anything but it passes the time. Sometimes it can get boring and if you play for an hour or so you will definitely hit a pay wall. Not many options to watch ads for a few free items and perks. Also, it's annoying keeping up with the personal relations.. such as who is cheating on this person with so and so and all that other jargon. I don't know, maybe I just had higher expectations for an "Elder Scrolls" game.

Enjoy the game very much, but I would really like it if we could look at characters' stats when they come for a royal order, such as naming someone heir. I have to restart the app and check them out before I open the order again to see if I'd like to change the heir or not. Edit: since the Halloween update every time I try to zoom of move the camera around it lags and grabs a person and moves them out of their work station. Impossible to navigate without messing everything up.

I had to change my review from a 5 to 4. The game is honestly good, almost addictive to me personally. My only issue right now is that I can only play the game for 5ish minutes then my game starts to get all buggy and glitch. This is just a new problem too, when it first released it had never done this. I'm guessing the frames freezing and glitching has to do with the new update, but it's really making the game difficult to play and enjoy.

I like playing this game, it's fun. Similar vibes to fallout shelter (obviously) but the quests are more interactive. I wish you could have multiple different castles. Also, more people need to enter your castle from the outside world, very quickly run out of new people. There isn't as much variation in types of rooms you can build, I've got all of them quite quickly (not including the ones you can buy with premium currency). Overall I like it, would recommend.

I enjoy playing the game right now but I wish there were multiple save files like fallout shelter. I want to have a good save file making actual progress but I also want to make a world where the king is a tyrant. Edit: your ad bugs need to be fixed. I have to watch multiple ads just for it to recognize I've seen it. So one star bc it's ridiculous.

Crashes a lot, freezes a lot, jitters a lot, performance is terrible, burns up my phone so bad the OS disables charging to protect my overheated battery. I suggest you profile your app instead of telling users to troubleshoot it. That link doesn't even work! (I know perf is always backburnered because it's actually hard and doesn't make for fancy slidedecks. You're releasing new features instead and it shows.)

Not much to separate it from fallout shelter. It also has a lovely habit of freezing after 10-15 seconds. The first hour or so didn't have any issues. It's basically unplayable for me. I saw they included a link on someone else's review as to a means to maybe fix that... But as I cannot click or copy it, it's basically useless.

A great game that you can really waste hours playing. The only problem, and it's big, is that the game freezes way to much. I'm not sure why, but I have a suspicion that it's due to the online all the time requirement. So Bethesda, if you see this, maybe relax the check in time for the game or remove the always online requirements entirely. Will move it to five stars once the crashing issue is resolved.

I do like this game, the idea of what the game is supposed to be, but sadly I can not play it for more then three minutes without it freezing on me. Since I have to close out of the game and restart it I lose the ability to read whatever pros or cons for what I decide to choose. It can be very annoying and frustrating when you can only pay the game for 3 minutes at a time.

I play this game every day, and I like it a lot. I do, however, have big issues with how rare it is the get the corundum. I complete quests and all the stuff and I swear I hardly get any. So I can't upgrade my weapons or make the high up weapons I'm unlocking. I feel like I'm at a stand still barely making it thru the missions. I've even spent money on this app. It also sucks that you don't always get the best stuff with the emperors pass. Just sayinnn.

Fun game but combat is frustrating. Every quest battle has 3 optional objectives, and I'm at the point where often one of those objectives is to kill a specific unit either FIRST or LAST. This is very difficult to do with clunky targeting and enemies who bunch up. Either make it easier for players to target specific enemies, or get rid of that objective. Hoping QA or a developer sees this because it's a fun little time sink otherwise. If you liked Fallout Shelter, then you'll like this game too.

Been playing daily for maybe a month+, but now I've reached the "decoration limit" on the castle? Also, there is still more space for rooms, and MANY more levels at war table, let alone new decor to unlock yet. I'm confused by the limitation here... The Halloween update has made the sound output for the music very harsh. Still love the game and will continue playing.

Overall a really engaging game! There are just two things driving me crazy as someone who plays daily atm: #1, accidentally dragging people whenever I pan left or right or zoom the screen in or out. There needs to be a touch and hold system to grab subjects or something else that exludes normal screen touches needed to see around the castle better. Then #2, the rulings. They get extremely repetitive in a short amount of time, and Orsinium needs WAY too much help. Constantly. Please add more ????

I really really like the game but it hits a wall where it is nearly impossible to do anything useful since it's so difficult to acquire certain materials. Without the marble I can't upgrade any building to the point I'm able to produce dwarven or higher items it's super frustrating. Also orsinium needed for upgrades and orcish and above weapons/armor, and silk for anything above linen items. I've beaten all the quests with full stars and rebeaten them to the point I only am rewarded to with gold

There are many instances where the game glitched out and I have to restart. This occurs most often interfacing with the rulings action. Also: the stairs spiral the wrong way. Just as most characters in-game are right-handed, so too were IRL castle builders, who built spiral stairs favoring the defenders, which meant clockwise going up.

I really like this game so far. But I'm level 64 and I feel like after like level 30 there hasn't been anything new? It's just more of the same. Needs more new people showing up, at this point all my people have had kids with everyone they're not related to ???? pretty soon I'm not gonna be able to marry off anybody. Also a way to save multiple outfit/armor on them. Having to changing them from the work stuff to armor and back again every time is daunting. An option to choose an heir would be rad.

I played fallout shelter in the past and it was such an awesome experience and after the release of this game it's a huge improvement from before but there are some things to be taken under which should be looked after: 1. The graphics could be a little bit better 2. Sometimes females npc say the lines of males npc's 3. More furniture items could be added 4. The king should do more activites than sitting all the time and we could make him do different activites.

No intrusive ads and plays as I expected it would and expect it to. Similar to their Fallout Shelter game, also for mobile, it has enough differences to be its own thing and not just a clone. The progression system feels a little slow to me, but not so bad as to be a deal breaker.

I really like this game and I rarely like any games mainly due to ads, which are not terrible, here. I really wish the materials would be collected while I am not playing. Sometimes I have to keep the game open while I watch TV and try to remember to tap, which kinda spoils the movie. Not sure if it's a bug. I don't know how long I will continue to play due to this time consuming fault. I've deleted it out of frustration more than once. I do enjoy playing for the most part.

The game was overall pretty enjoyable, but very repetitive. I played it for like two weeks straight and put some spare change into it, but it never really gave me a sense of fulfillment or accomplishment. The game would often crash for me whenever I made rulings even after following the forums recommendations, and there's no way to interact with other players really. Kind of a cash grab with all of the micro transactions but lack of the feeling of progression.

To be honest, a little boring. I've been playing since launch. Now all I really do is collect resources and do a couple of quests (which are repetitive and dull) until my fighters have low health, then send them to the buffet room to replenish it. Many elements to the game just feel incomplete and hollow. Also, it's annoying when a ruler you like is murdered over some petty castle argument.

I built a mill that was upgraded quite a bit was trying to build stuff around it and accidentally deleted it. It's not in my owned area, so it's gone. I have to wait to get more resources to get back what I've already earned and upgraded. Bummer. I feel like it should've went in an inventory or something. You're allowed to remove things and if you already built and bought it, You should be able to keep it.l. Also, can't wait for more levels. Got the pass for a year and have reached the end...

I love the art style, I love the premise and mechanics. However I absolutely cannot stand when developers think it's a good idea to force EVERY tutorial on something. The entire castle is out of oil and all the lights are gone, and food is about to stop being made, but good lord how important it is to send adventurers on several quests first so you know how to do it. Simply have a tutorial appear AFTER you interact with an item not when you build it. It's really irksome because it ruins the flow

A neat little game that resembles Fallout Shelter, but with a few key differences. It runs great and doesn't have many problems for a game that just released. Only things I dislike are half of the level up rewards being locked behind the subscription service, and that one poor decision can cause a subject to kill another permanently. Sometimes every option for these sorts of rulings is poor. Add the ability to resurrect them with scrolls or gems. I'd hate a legendary subject to just be deleted.

Similar to Fallout Shelter, but without the charm. While that one "feels" like Fallout, this one does not feel like Skyrim. The desperation for players to spend (frankly absurd amounts of) money in order to purchase zero material change to how the game is played is... offensive. I've played a good many hours know, and I don't feel the game is going anywhere. So I'm uninstalling. Is it fun? Sort of. But the design is (clearly) intended to have you come back and play frequently, and that's it.

Fun. But, only for a short time. I enjoyed it for a few months. Once I got to the Silver/Linen level of production, I began to notice that additional resources acquired through only the War Table were becoming a common necessity for progress. Yet, they were scarce. It got to the point where gems were the only real way to level up anything. They give small amounts from ads. But, you'll languish forever before you can move forward. It's pretty obvious they want you to buy them. Pay-to-win.

Overall a fun and investing game. Not a Fallout Shelter clone like some of us were expecting. It takes a similar concept and makes it its own, focusing on people management in addition to resources. The only real "problem" I have is that I wish the game wasn't entirely dependant on having an internet connection. So many of the features could be baked in without having to deal with server connections. There have been a few time where it took a while and several refreshes to reconnect.

I'm really loving this game! I'm a huge fan of Skyrim, so it's nice to see the familiar lore and characters from the game itself. It's got a lot of options to keep you occupied, and it's relatively easy to get "premium" items/objects. Also, ads are completely optional! The only thing I'd like to improve the game would be an easier mechanic for editing your castle, like in clash of clans. I like to switch things up a lot, and moving everything around piece by piece can be tedious.

There are bugs that cause freezing constantly, but my biggest issue is that this game is anything but casual. It feels like you have to keep checking in every few minutes for minimal actually positive game experience. Don't purchase anything with characters because they will die just like all the others. It feels like someone at Bethesda looked at Fallout Shelter and thought "This again, but miserable."

Love this game, sort of! I've been a Bethesda fan since Oblivicrack was a thing. However, as with Starfield, the playability is a bit limited. I'm at level 203 with 170 subjects, and I have nothing to do. I've reached the end of the quest map, events only take me 15 minutes, I'm stuck as there's no more quests to get marble for upgrades. Sucks that I bought the year pass and now the game is pretty much done after 3ish months of play... I hope more content gets added soon!

I like the game and have been playing since release. It can definitely be slow and tedious and I was irritated that the emperors pass was only for a month but it's now for a year which was worth it to me. However ad of the update on 11/25/24 it will not let me play. Keeps saying "Something went wrong. Please reload the game." I literally just paid for the emperors pass and now it's not working

Game is fun, very similar to Fallout Shelter with Elder Scrolls Themes, the events have been very short (1-3 days) and I usually log on every day just about to complete said tasks. I think the events should last a week before they get shelved, and the notifications aren't working either, I only get them when the game launches and once it's closed there's nothing until I open it again. Great game so far though, I got Ulfric and Ralof is my castle already.

It's so disappointing to see a game that already exists, but reskinned to resemble the elder scrolls, it's a shame as I was waiting for it to be released as I had my hopes up. The longer you get into it, the more you get pummeled with things that cost money or a LOT of grinding, and it just stops being interesting within a couple of days because of it. All in all, this game is a typical mobile game with far too much focus on micro transactions and not enough on the video game.

All gimmick, no game. This title is designed to persistently drain your wallet. In game purchases die or are consumed, their annual "dragon pass" doesn't remove ads, there is no automatic resource gathering. It is a reskin of the fallout shelter game that will quickly become a full time job. Bethesda should be ashamed, but then again, they sold horse armor. This is worse, purposefully designed for monetization and time consumption to the point that the main game that does exist can't be enjoyed

Fun for a couple days. My main gripe is the lack of connection to the characters. I feel like Fallout Shelter gave enough characters that felt special that you became invested in your shelter. Here, I've got Ulfric but that's about it after a couple days of grinding. Otherwise, it's a fun and beautiful game. I really like the questing feature and Elderscrolls is one of my favorite settings. I think it'd be cool to see a castle attack feature like Fallout has.

So it is now after the BETA and I have a few good things and bad things about the game. Good: -the game is quick to pickup snd enjoy! it's very user friendly and doesn't have many crashes. -progression is quick once you put a few days in. Bad: -time is ALWAYS passing. this is actually a bad thing in my opinion. it causes all of your good characters to die if you put the game down for a few months or weeks. -building is kinda bad because you can't build the same room without RMTs.
