This game is nice and deserves 5 stars, but I gave it a 3 based on the fact that many things are locked in the game. Asides things being locked though, the game is still enjoyable and quite fun...The graphics, the missions, the interactions are really great...it reminds me of early childhood and gives me that nostalgia. All in all, the games great, but at least, let some pups be free...Looking forward for updates...Thanks a lot ????

Read the dates of various reviews. At some point in 2024, this game stopped single purchase DLC and currently has a $10/mo subscription. If I had access to everything, the game seemingly would be fine, but I am not buying a subscription to a singular game just to have access to the content. Without the DLC, the game is at best a trial. Someone mentioned the game is on switch but that is Paw Patrol World (which is also available on Xbox as well as Xbox Gamepass) at least that sub gives more.

It's a very fun game but costs way too much. Why would I pay a monthly subscription for this? I'd pay $5-$10 once to buy the app outright- especially because it's very repetitive on each level which means my child doesn't want to play it enough to justify paying over and over again for it.

Mobile Devs have always been greedy, but they are absolutely delusional now. £9.99 PER MONTH for a badly made mobile kids game. I wouldn't pay £9.99 as a one off purchase for this game. I don't know of many AAA PC live service games charging £9.99 per month, and at least they have server costs to pay. This kind of behaviour needs to stop. Shame on the developers, and shame on Google for continuing to allow this silly behaviour.

Absolutely ridiculous to include ads to sign up for paid subscription services in a kids' game. This is apparently an issue in all games by budge. I understand the purpose of ads, but in a game that is targeted towards young children, having ads that you can click and sign up for subscriptions or paid items is really a predatory practice. Have ads that show the kids something that they can go bug their parents to buy, don't give them something that they can sign up for themselves.

Won't load on tablet. My son LOVES this game, so I had no problem paying for the monthly subscription. After the last monthly charge though, the game won't load on the tablet anymore. Just opens to a blank white screen. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling, but no luck.

You no longer are able to purchase single characters but always have to purchase a subscription, which is an outrageous 11€ a month. You can not even purchase it on a kids' account due to Google Play restrictions - it won't tell you in understandable words, but tell you the family admin can not complete the purchase. I already purchased one character for my kid and had to disappoint her now as I can not buy another. I am pretty fed up with the change!

It's a great game, but I can't give it 5 stars for cost. Unlocking a single character is $10 every time. There are four just in the main location, plus three $10 bundles for Dino characters. For comparison, the Paw Patrol Xbox game is $40. The game itself is great. Age appropriate, engaging, high quality and runs smoothly. Everything you want in a game, except affordability.

The game is very nice. However, I am disappointed with the tricky and unfair tactics used to charge people more and annoying them while using the game. I paid around $27 for my child to enable all of the pups, only to have 2 available and the rest showing "Coming soon" for some time now. Also, while playing the game, my child is being led to different "areas" where it is asking us to upgrade again. And it is very difficult and time consuming to get out of that mode to continue the game.

Broken and buggy. I regret downloading this. My preschooler always wants to play it, but every time the pups get stuck or the hooks don't work or whatever it's a huge blow up and he doesn't understand "no, they STILL haven't updated it, so I can't fix it for you and have to restart the game again". Edit for example: he was trying to go help C'pn Turbot. Clicked the location, it changes to a close up of the lookout. Can switch pups but no visual change, like it's frozen. Happens at random.

Don't waste your money. I paid the 9.99 subscription and half of everything is locked in the worlds, mighty pups he can only do 2 adventures and still can't access any character. Seriously, don't fall for that 9.99 subscription. My son loves this game so I paid and everything's locked that he wants to do. The controls are all mucked up and hard to control. There's no way to contact the game ppl for a refund. No setting options. Whacked game

I love this game I wish the dlc wasn't so pricey review update I was going to keep it at 5 stars but the nintendo switch has the exact same game but 100 times better than the mobile version. Hears what the newer version on Console has to offer the dlc is 5 dollars, and you don't have to pay every month for it. Next you can play with your friends in the same place all you need is two controllers to do so. And it's free roam. All three characters are unlocked, and you will get a better experience

What a complete money-making scam. The game itself is great, but you cannot progress unless you pay for either new pups or new areas - or both. In other games you have the option of either paying or doing some tasks that will eventually unlock new characters/areas. Unfortunately this game is predatory - using kids to get money... and they are not cheap either.

This is just shameless. Everything is nearly locked. My kid can't get two steps in the game without full screen ads or it asking to pay money for something. It will even guide you to click on things that cost money. And then 9.99 A MONTH!? Thats a full service price for a static game. All it's done is made everyone frustrated. SHAMELESS

My son has really wanted to play this game for a long time... $10/month seems extraordinarily high! I eventually agreed my son could subscribe for a month or two and then cancel. However, since his tablet has Google Family Link enabled, he's unable to do this and it seems there is no workaround. I think we'll end up with a Nintendo Switch game - there are multiple highly rated Paw Patrol games under $25 - no subscription - I hope the money goes to a different company than Budge Studios.
