adventure ages : idle civilizations

Reskin of communist basically but i still find it enjoyable. However personally Im not very fond of the color scheme. I find it blending together too much with same colours for backgrounds as some foreground objects. I found the colours of communist much more pleasing and easy on the eye. I wish there was some kind of dark mode or an alternate colour scheme to choose. Also an instant chest open mode with all items just showing instead of one and one is a wish to speed it up in both games.

I've been playing for over 3 months and the game isn't interesting anymore. I'm at Rank 85 and it's nearly always about waiting for enough people to build up to unlock stuff and complete missions. Resource missions are usually instant. It's been this way almost the whole game. Not to mention that you can't get all your free chests in events without buying a $10/month pass or losing sleep, and the events cannot be completed without spending tons of gems, leaving only the whales to complete them.

As always, asking to review way too soon. So I'll 3 star for now. And play a little more over the next few days and see how it goes. I will say this though, it's an exact re-skin of another game I used to play. I won't name that game. But I will see if this one has the exact same issues as that did. However, so far the performance of this one does seem better

Not a bad game. But the event disapponts me. Japan poses a great threat to many countries. Both in the past and present. I hope some developers would understand what I'm trying to say. Japan has no future and I have no intention to help them even in the virtual game space.

Kinda nice game, very good performance compared to other games like this, but i dont like the system here. You can notice that when the countdown reaches ZERO, you still have to wait 1 second for the zero to actually reach zero. Kinda weird. Later in game you get slapped in your face mainly by quests . I was stucked on lower rank, about 40 for a very long time because of it. You have quests like "level up cards" or "spend exp", but thats impossible since all my cards were max level. The ones I have, had. I was still missing some, but cards are unlocked with your rank when you progress. If you have 2 quests "spend exp" and 1 "level up card" but dont have any card to upgrade, thus you cannot spend exp, you are screwed. This big oversight will leave you stucked in certain place and will not allow you to continue rank, reset game etc. If you are paying player, this is extremely stupid and big downside which needs to be corrected immediately, its game breaking and the point for developer is to for us spend our money and if his decision is hurting players, its really bad. The game should somehow reflect where you are, what rank you are, what you can do. There should really be an option to reset quest, at least once a day for free and the quest MUST NOT be of the same quest that is already in the quest menu, you know, 2 quests "spend exp", 1 quest "level up card", so lets reset one "spend exp" .. it would be extremely lame if the new quest would be "level up cards" or "spend exp" again. Another option, players with maxed cards have kinda lots of exp, no way to spend them. In shop we can buy cards for exp. But you CANT buy maxed level cards. So still allow it? You know, buy cards for exp but since its max level, you get exp for it so its for free, but its kinda way around this bug too? And maybe find a way how to spend hundreds of thousands exp that are accumulating from maxed cards? Support is nice .. new update, my account was replaced with someone's elses progress .. from 67 to 12, they restored it. So I am glad. A funny glitch that somehow makes it funny. You are traveling from past to the future and this glitch, took me back from the future to the past :)

With 1500+ combined hours in AdVenture Capitalist u0026 Communist on PC I was looking forward to playing a new game in a series I enjoyed. I wondered why it was not out on PC but within 5 minutes I understood why. This not so much a game more a vessel to show ads. The absolute audacity to have a monthly pass and then you still need to watch ads. Not to mention lootboxes and attempts to sell you packs with you having to hit a big "Miss out" button. 500 characters is not enough to explain this bullshi

After completing Adventure Capitalism, and almost finishing Adventure Communist (getting close), I was wondering what my next challenge was going to be. Important people of history is awesome for an idea. I can't wait to go full steam on this when I finish AdCom.

I know the original capitulation had premium currency but this new one is 90% ads or pay for content it is infuriating that instead of buying 10000000000 lemonade stands I have to wait 20 minutes for population to charge and the weirdest thing is it'd an adventure communist clone their is nothing different hyper hippo please add new qualities to this or I will just go back to communist and have an add free game

Its as addictive as the other 2 games. Also i do enjoy these missions that there are. Thanks to that there is a point to playing it now. I hope this continues.

Strong pay to win feel but you get a fair amount of in-game currency by playing. You grind for 4 events to place high on the 5th one. Enjoyable art. Considering it's an idle game I find myself playing it actively haha. 5/5

Very money hungry, and unless you're willing to pay you'll find your progress in in game is almost non existent, especially as you climb to higher levels. It's a shame because in the past their games (capitalist, communist) have had a fairly steady rate of progression.

I am enjoying it, it's getting quite repetitive with the 2 events, need more in the rotation, maybe something like Atlantis/Greece/Romans just to keep it fresh

It's pretty fun, but in-game content is rather limited. AdCap for example had 3 planets to work with, as well as like 15 holiday events it cycled through. This one only has one planet (sort of) and 2 regional type events that it cycles through on weekends, Japan and Egypt. Doesn't take much time out of your day to keep it going steadily, but it feels a bit boring after a month or so.

*Edit* Restarted from level 1, got back up to 112 and now they've increased ad length to 60+ seconds with no increase in rewards. I'm not not giving it a third try *end edit* Got a new phone, backed everything up to it, even linked it through the game, yet all my progress is gone. Why not give an option to input the account ID? It took me well over a year to reach rank 90, and I can't keep it? complete BS.

Game cannot be finished without spending money. I am at a point where progression stopped. I contacted support. they told me to just click for a while. I did the math. I would have to click every 43 minutes for a year to get the next unlock. support now ignores me. no reason to play this if you just get stuck at some point.

Ads and monetization are pushed in this game to a crazy degree. It's ignorable to a degree, but charging 10 a month for one type of ad skip is wild.

I enjoy it for casual gaming, definitely not a game that will always keep you busy, but still fun to complete missions.

I used to love playing this game. New features usually start on one of the other games before coming here and if the latest features come here too it'll mean the devs don't want us playing anymore. It's only slightly annoying here. I wish they learn a few things from other developers as to what players like and what drives them away.

really enjoying the game but rhe last 3 days I keep getting "unable to track time, click here to fix" after every ad and sometimes mid activity. I was hoping rhe update would have fixed this but alas, still getting the messages every few minutes.

It has the same play style as the other AdVenture games which is a good thing. However, these constant 60 second ads (two 30 second ads) gets annoying extremely quickly. It's not even like you can just ignore the ads because you have to click close on the first one before the 2nd one starts. On top of that, way way to often is the ad actually opening the application (not just the app store) if I have it installed already, like Hulu or PayPal. I'm tired of having to close other apps from an ad.

Decent idle game when playing offline. However, if you participate in the events with other players, you'll need to spend real world money to be competitive. You'll hit a wall with some of the the longer events that takes days to complete certain "missions", preventing you from reaching the next rank. The only way to get past these walls is to use in game currency to upgrade or pass time. Look at the adventure ages sub-reddit and this is the main complaint from most players.

Love the type of game. Sole and the major downfall for me though is the microscopic amount of energy given at a time with only way to refill enough of it to do any good is rl money. If you were aiming at a money grab from a certain demographic, you SUCceded. If you were aiming at making a game that is fun to play continually, you failed, miserably.

Great cartoony graphics. Fun to play in the beginning. It has aspects of gameplay similar to Cell to singularity minus the tapping aspect. Playable as F2P with freebies but it slows down a lot. I was constantly playing it after release and I've made it to level 10. I find myself running out of things to do other than waiting. I've used up most of my gems to upgrade cards and the missions have gotten much bigger. I'll probably keep playing it but my focus will be on Adventure Capitalist.

Immersion as close as possible to realism in a game that takes up the basics and / or codes of real situations in order to make you experience them in the virtual environment.
