I still prefer the pre-update visuals, but they did a good job repairing some of the glaring issues. I wish the 1, 2, and 3 star levels would get new characters, since we are still required to use them daily, but they have long since gotten stale. Overall the game is a good take on the match 3 style gameplay and a large character pool keeps it interesting, even if some characters are a little broken leading to most people only using a select few.

Daily player for years! The game is addictive and stunning to look at. The characters are diverse and dynamic. It is a challenge to level up characters though. For instance, I received Bishop and that's where it has ended...a one and done for very,very long time. Still a daily player BUT struggle w/ color variations. Purple went to pink and red went to pink. Good luck playing in sunlight.

Collecting characters and powers from Marvel comics and the MCU elevates this match-3 puzzle game above the rest. Paying for VIP is a good value as long as you play all of the story missions the max number of times each day. I would not recommend buying anything else. TIP: Be patient, and follow the many guides out there. My roster only has one 1-star, all 2-stars maxed (except Bagman), and almost all 3-stars, and I compete pretty well in PVP battles against teams that have 5-star characters.

Wow, am still playing this daily since my last review May, 2019. Really like the new look and the abilities to filter. Truly helps. Plus many new heros and villains. New ways to combo or tag team. I liked the abilities to get random bonuses like new chrs and heros points. Lastly, what makes this awesome too is that I can set phone aside or sleep mode and then continue where I left off.

Love the game I play it daily and have done for years. I have every character in the game and I am part of a fantastic alliance! If I could suggest a few things to improve the game would be to have more iso8 double up stunts, bigger font for the numbers on the fights I've completed per node on pve, and on pvp bottom left node I cannot see the numbers with the bright background. Fix this and I'll rate 5 star. Thanks.

Some of the improvements made greatly improved the play. There needs to be a change so that covers for maxed characters can be used for something. Perhaps the 1, 2, and 3 star covers could be saved and used for 4 and 5 star characters in the same person.

Love the game I play everyday but i just wish there were more benefits to being in an alliance than just a free 2000 exp and 1 free hero point when someone buys something it's barely noticeable you give these away like their candy during a team event why we dont have more of these? plus it's the only time my clan talks or can help work towards a goal there should be 5 star rewards for team events because you use 3 days for an event when you could put that towards a 5 star cover

I previously enjoyed the game. A nive take on casually sitting a matching colours while seeing your favorite super heroes. However recently the "buy packs" pop ups are just too bad. After every single menu it pops up. Uninstalled

Just keeps getting worse and worse with each update. Terrible UI, absolutely NOT random gem drops to make you spend money on healthpacks. The developers exist solely to maximize profit for the garbage company that took over this game way back and will not listen to players-- do not waste your money here like I have

Fixed and addressed my problem they are awesome, games almost perfect but you end up spending a lot on coins to expand your roster. Maybe add a system where you can grind out some coins if your really dedicated. Thanks all. Would recommend.

I have been playing this game for a year and I still love this game but, have to face a problem regarding the cost of the rooster slots, in my opinion the slots cost too much and maybe it's cost should be reduced to 100 or 150 each.

I'm loving this game even after all these years! The graphics are great, the gameplay is awesome and the content updates often! Two thumbs up! I like the game board update too, it's grown on me!

Changing my review as of the new update. Game is extremely difficult to play now to the point of even feeling nauseous because of constant dimming and brightening of the screen. On top of that new color changes have made it impossible for someone who is color blind to be able to play and recognize matches outside of shape.

The game is a lot fun. The story modes in the pve are entertaining as well. I've been playing the game for years now and I only have a couple of complaints. The pull rate for 5star covers. Especially if you're a person that can't afford to dump large amounts of money into the game to gain the covers. Also how quickly you can aquire cp to be able to pull from the latest legends and classic legends vaults. Other than those two things, I highly recommend this game for my friends.

I love this App! They have really improved over the past couple of years too as it is more possible to win without pay to play mechanics

It's an okay game. I can't figure out how the recruiting process goes. I can't seem to access who I really want, or how to go about finding them after a purchase. It seems the games chooses who it wants you to have, or earn. There's no step by step instructions to the functions in this game. So I just play it for fun occasionally, until I get bored with it. If I knew how to finesse the game, it might be more fun.

A really frustrating money grab. Don't waste your time, unless you want to spend a lot of money to catch up with people playing it for the past 7 years and even then I wish you luck. It becomes extremely monotonous. All the players use the exact same combo of heroes so there is little to no variation. Very frustrating...And then they have reduced the number alliance events... It seemed to be monthly and now maybe once every other month.

I found out games? In my opinion is excellence? It provide you strategies with which to attack it your opponent. "Updates, download!" Cost to unlock heroes. Each time you update the game the cost gold coins goes higher in which to unlock superheroes. I understand people here to make money but stop with the updates and the raising of gold coins!

I love this game and I play it everyday! But the recent update added a new look to the tiles and everything blends in because of it. Everybody I've talked to said they weren't a fan so if they decide to keep it in the game, I hope they make a setting where you can go back to the old style. Edit: I'm used to the new layout lol and it doesn't really hinder gameplay or my love for this game. I will note give this a 5 star. I've played this game for years and will continue!

The game is very good , but what the hell is wrong with the hero space available, I have two 5 sta heroes waiting to be acquired and can't cause I dont have enough space ??? So you want money for heroes and money for space to get them once you pay to get them ?? Is this game only MoNeY for you ?? I would love to here a reply please !!!!

There are a lot of skins plastered over 'bejeweled' to try and make a game out of it. This is the best one out there. The Marvel content is fun and often comic-accurate. Update: since early August, the reward screens after a match are broken... the buttons to acceot them are missing, and the screen goes black with a code at the bottom.

Update LAGGY and verry glitchy, annoying!! Whatever this new engine is it makes the game super slow and I have a Samsung Galaxy S24 ULTRA. The animations are unnecessary/take extra time to play/load, the weird screen transitions/loading take too long and are unnecessary. Please remove this or give us option to shut all this extra stuff off. It makes playing a level take WAY longer and glitchy and I am seriously considering stopping playing (and I have played just about every day since launch!)

They keep changing things that don't need to be changed. I don't like the new tiles and the recruitment/vaults have become more confusing . edit 7/15/25. THEY STILL CHANGING THINGS THAT DON'T NEED TO BE CHANGED. the new patch is terrible. slow , laggy. now vs. has become unplayable bc I'm getting paired with people that one shot kill me. don't even try to pair me with people on the same level as me

All in all this is a great game. It's fun to be able to play a match three game with strategy elements. One thing I really appreciate is how the developers keep adding new content and will walk back changes if they cause issues, like an old change to the board that caused migraines in certain individuals. Not every company is willing to do that.

What they did shows a lack of respect towards players. They had a game that was working ok and they changed it into something really bad. Stutters, bad animations, little things that aren't working anymore etc. All this happened 1 month ago and they didn't fix.it yet. So, after a 4075 days streak, I decided it's not worth my time anymore. So farewell and thank you for the fish.

I've been playing this game for over a decade at this point, love it to death. Unfortunately since the most recent update the game has been super buggy. As of about 2 weeks ago the game now crashes immediately when opening the app, making it completely unplayable. I'll hang in for another update or two to see if they can fix this. :(

OK, so I'm a long time player, this game is brilliant. It's a match 3 which means it's a bit repetitive but the game is about building and developing your roster and is a slow burn....which I Iove....so why the 3 star..an update has just been made which is confusing the player/fan base. There are now tonnes of glitches, unloadable games, unaligned nodes and more frequent weirdness. update- I've upgraded to a 3* after a recent fix and will upgrade to 5* again if the issues don't return

I have enjoyed Marvel Puzzle Quest more than the other combat style match-3 games. The combat style and character building seem unique and much more engaging. However, after 10 years, the character base is too large to start playing the game, which often features unlocking required characters to play competitively. The recent game updates introduced a new engine overhaul. This rollout has been poorly executed; frequently causing features to not work correctly, game crash or unable to launch, and

How anyone can push a release this broken on a loyal player base is inconceivable. For 7 years, I've played and mostly enjoyed this game, every day, for hours. The new engine is a catastrophe. It is amazing how the disdain for the player base shines though nearly every decision made in the last 12 months. if you're new, don't bother. There are too many characters to ever meaningfully catch up. You get the same events over and over. It's a match 3, and one that's getting worse.

I can't remember how many years I have been playing this game, but it always gave me daily relaxation. Until a few days ago when a major update turned this game in a very cheap knock off of itself and only gives me frustration. Like if I'm playing a browser game, where nothing is cached. Everything is sluggish, movements are slow, interface feel unresponsive. Saved teams are gone. Graphics are wrong. Don't know what the update(s) were, but pretty please, roll these updates back!

This game always has some or the other issues. First of all I want to understand the thought process of the Devs while making The Tower Event. Enemy levels are Drastically increased u0026 it's almost impossible to beat, however even if there is a small chance of winning anything, the game constantly lags u0026 crashes after every 5 - 10 minutes, making you lose progress, throwing penalties on Hero Health u0026 making you lose the round. This game will never improve u0026 deserves a Permanent 1 Star Rating.

At one point in time, this game ruled. Fun, easy, fair. But the last 3 major updates have left the game barely playable. App runs slow, freezes, crashes, refuses to open, etc. Horrific graphical bugs, which make it impossible to know which color you are matching. New characters are ovetuned and have 8000 word essays for abilities. I genuinely feel some C suite person is trying to kill this game.

A broken, buggy mess. The game used to be pretty solid, but after they started using Unity, the game has had many issues, including lag, crashes, and rewards not dropping. There are also purchases not working properly. It feels like they don't really care about the player base anymore. Also, they nerfed one of the best characters in the game. Apparently that was a bigger priority than fixing actual gameplay issues. I guess they got sick of getting money from me.

If you want a game full of glitches this is the game for you. there's a delay to get to every screen. For a few months now it has been difficult to play, they make changes to characters without notification. a character I have been trying to build up to a five-star suddenly has been nerfed with her powers, and I don't want to five-star her anymore. so basically I wasted months in the game. If the glitches are problems don't clear up soon I'm sure I will quit playing after playing for almost 10yr

Im changing this review from a 5-star to 1-star. The game was a perfect way for me to invest time and money into - but changes to the engine created a bunch of new bugs which crash/slow down the game. I no longer have fun with this game, especially since they nerfed my favourite characters. I used to be addicted to this game - but the new developers have ensured I never play this game again. on the bright side, I now have more time to play and pay other games.

The developers have taken a game that was a fun time killer and taken everything enjoyable from it. Every update is worse than the previous, and it just keeps going downhill from there. If their goal is to push every long-time player out of the game, they seem to be succeeding. Then reviews like this and many others I've read well be all that's left, keeping new players from wanting to join.

I've been playing this game daily for many years, and find it balanced well between pay-for-advancement and play-for-free. The mechanics are elegant in their simplicity, although the story line is too short. Additionally, three entrance gate for new users must be ridiculously, criminally difficult to overcome right now.

Edited 3/31/26: Game is dead. Congratulations on successfully ruining a game millions have played for more than a decade. Bravo. Edited 1/4/23: Been waiting for a new event to start. Used to be fun. Now feels like it was all for nothing. This game is super fun, easy and addictive. Making your roster the best is what keeps playing. If you have issues with the game or your account, you can email support and they will resolve the issue promptly.

It's been better. I've been playing this game since its baby days, and still love it, the lag time is becoming a big issue, though. Especially when opening the game, every single pop up add freezes the whole game, and I have to completely close out and start again. Plus the special tile issue. Y'all got an update with bug fixes coming soon, right?

Update: lowered to 1 star, the game is now unplayable. Opens and sits showing the background and nothing else. The RPG elements make for a fun addition to a standard match game. My only complaint is I can only play so long throughout a day before I use up all my heals. Any more and I'd have to pay. I don't care that much about level progression that I want to pay for that, I just want to be able to match blocks as much as I want whenever I want, and be able to win the round.

[I'm still playing, but the game no longer performs well even on a Galaxy S26. Protect tiles go blank, and many effects, such as the lightning crackles when opening covers. Since there's little tech support for mobile games, I'm hoping this review will be spotted.] I've played this game for a little while every morning for years. It's the best Puzzle Quest since XBox live.

I've been playing for 10+ years, there have been zero improvements or meaningful QoL changes. There really isn't much to do in the game, except chance new characters, which isn't fun. 6 stars were introduced, but they are impossible to get, so there is absolutely zero point to chase them. the game is extremely buggy. tile graphics don't load, loading times between matches is slow. we've also been playing the same events for years, so it's all tedious. I'm just burnt out on the game.

idk where to inform on bugs. hero attack protect tiles no longer show up, they just go blank. still the same old problems with needing tons of gold to increase roster list. I quit playing for a long time due to the issue of getting heroes and not being able to add them due to needing another space. I see roster addition reward in campaign added, but I cannot replay those missions.
