Forge Of Empires or FOE has always been there for me, on my computers and on my phone the only problem I see is that after a while FOE deletes all of your work like when I wasn't playing for about half a year, when I came back on all my work was gone. I still love FOE because you can play it for years until you reach the final era. Maybe it's me but I find that the detail put into the game is so amazing, even to the tiny little puffs of smoke that come out of some buildings are so detailed.

Now that I only have one city to look after, I am happy with my play time. I'm more at ease without having to keep track of six other cities and what I need to do to accomplish what I want to accomplish in those cities. My only gripe is with my fellow players not clearing out their saloons regularly. So far I'm stuck in every saloon I checked into. I only want to get more than two soldiers protecting my city from invaders! It's left open for unscrupulous bullies to do as they wish.

Update 28 June 2021. After uninstalling the app and reinstalling TWICE at nearly 2GB each time, the game performed after the early June update. Now with latest update (26 JUNE), it seems Inno has learned nothing from their errors. Once again, all worlds are locked! ???????? Odd, isn't it, a new update is issued again a few days later to "fix bugs". Try this.. if it isn't broken, stop 'fixing' it ????

All in all a nice game. I can't play with mobile data for some reason, which means that after covid I'll probably stop playing altogether. You can speed everything through diamonds, even useless things, so the UI is a bit cluttered with buttons to pay with diamonds, or popups requesting diamonds for every little action, but you can enjoy the game without investing in them.

Game relies extensively on RNGs and loot boxes and very little on strategy. That makes the game barely different from gambling. The soccer event was the last straw for me, with the tournament having double RNGs taking away any control you have on the game. But hey it's profitable because it sells innos game currency (diamonds). The designs are pretty and social aspect (guilds) is fantastic but not good enough to make up for the poor mechanics that hides behind luck of the draw.

Game play is at the players own pace. Every thing opens as it should . Events are properly challenging . Monthly updates are usually right on time . To fit in with players progress . Smart phones are becoming increasingly easier to use to play FoE . So , the market may increase for greater access, as a carry along Game . Forge on , Inno Games , Forge on !

Decided to give the game another try and I have to say it's very relaxing and I'm having fun. After seeing what's on the store and considering how old this game is, it's by far superior to most games, and also to most games in its own genre. More than that, it seems to have been kept with no ads which is rare todat. Job well done!

I've been playing for about one year now and love it to pass the time, and honestly it occupies and satisfies my OCD. I am constantly working toward something, including hoarding goods to be a market place maker. Good stuff!

This is a great game; I've been playing for years. Lots of updates and new content to keep it refreshing. It's a long term commitment if you want to keep building your city, so this might not be the best if you're action oriented and want instant gratification. This takes some planning and organizing; or not. There are lots of ways to play the game.

This game is great, I just started the game and I found it exciting. At first you will start in the Bronze Age and if you do research you can improve your infrastructure time by time, era by era. But first, you need to be patient if you are new because if you are new you will need a hardwork but once you already in a strong position...your game will improve automatically.

The Game is FUN! However, the events are becoming more and more skewed towards selling Diamonds. And, most of the event buildings are not worth the time spent getting them. Daily specials are mostly trash and are only good for selling in the Antique Dealer.

Quite fun to build your own empire from stone age to future. Able to train troops to attack other players or defence own city. Able to trading is the fun part and the game is balance. Progression will get more difficult until requires purchase real cash to continue.

It's a good game, but ever since the last update it keeps freezing. I can't access the auction house, some buildings, it sometimes freezes in a battle and randomly freezes in my viking settlement.

Fun game. However I think you should put a confirmation for auto battling I play on PC and mobile and I have lost many troops from it. Lost 1 battle tank and a commando ahead of my age when I was in progressive era.

It's been 2 weeks that my game starts to load u0026 freezes. I've tried uninstalling/installing it many times u0026 have no luck. It was fun while it lasted.

A fun empire building game, but you do need to spend money to fully experience it. You can do most of it without, and still have fun, but you'll definitely notice what you can't do or achieve.

Game was ok then after the update it wouldn't let me connected to the game keeps saying Internet connection is lost even logout and log back in and l deleted the game and redownloaded it and its still the same but the tech team fixed the problem all good thankyou

You took what could be a great game, and destroyed it with plundering, takes the fun out of it. Allowing people to bully weaker player's is not fair at all.

Very good game for mind exercise. I like to build, trade, construct, produce etc. while processing my real life business in my head. Fun!

Great game! So many helpful people. Events are very fun with great rewards. So many worlds you can play in. It takes time to envole you're world but very fun to see it grow.

Easy to play. Very addictive. Game moves as fast or as slow as you do; the pace adapts well for both casual or serious players. You can play on desktop or mobile interchangeably! Developers are very much a part of the community; constantly improving the game and running events. It's F2P and holds true there. There's no P2W element. I spent a few $ because I wanted to support the game as I've been enjoying it throughly. Edit: there are optional ads but not as intrusive as I first thought.

wow this game really surprised me, this isn't just a city builder, it's packed with so many games, quests and aspects, that it's really fun to play. sure you can just build the city, but if you get into good guild (and you will if you play well), they will help you to grow in superb ways. the game has a lot of different mechanics, which really make it interesting and it is NOT pay to win. you can enjoy a great amount of win without paying.

Good game, you have option with resources and there's a wide range of things to do other than just build a city. While some things are still difficult to aquire various things and it's easy to get trapped behind a "research" as there's specific requirements for each type of upgrade, it's not insurmountable if market is utilized. Again, more than just a city building game... it's worth a try in my opinion. ?

Getting the "goods" for completed research is incredibly difficult, even trading goods doesn't guarantee progress. On top of that, you charge players for what's called "reward" and "victory" expansions, which totally negates the idea of any supposed reward/victory. I feel like even though the game may be labeled as free to play, it's incredibly misleading, considering how difficult it is to advance and progress without paying for items. Totally dishonest advertisement of the game's description.

I already know that most mobile games that are heavily advertised are pretty bad in monetization, ad useage and gameplay depth. At least here the game is pretty decent for a change, and beautiful sprite graphics. Also no extended handholding (only a few minutes of tutorial for the basics), no forced PvP, and a PC browser-based version can also be played, which is nice! But ads on mobile and monetization are as egregious as usual, and only revealed later in the game after some time investment...

Feels like a carefully crafted Chimera of all the best bits of many old-school favourites. There's a lot to get into - A long u0026 interesting story campaign, PvP, PvE, Guild Battleground MMO-style competition. City buiding - Command u0026 Conquer, Age of Empires. Combat - Heroes of Might and Magic. Cons: It's not all that casual. A lot of the game opens up a few months in, unless you pay. This review might *sound* sponsored, but it's not! I just had a great experience with customer support. : )

This app cost me money in the form of mis-Qs that take diamonds....about three times now. this problem occurred when I was active in the Vikings settlement. On the buildings progress page the diamond selections are displayed in the middle of the page causing diamonds to be selected when I was just trying to scroll. This occurred three or four times.

Fun and interesting city building game. I like the dynamics of the special buildings and the incremental challenge increase working through the various ages. Another great aspect of this game is that you can make friendly connections with other players, visit their towns, and give encouragement or virtual resources to help them out with their town's growth. It's also really cool that within the game, players can create or join a social community called a guild, which inspires comradory inclusion

If you spend money to buy diamonds, there are many perks and upgrades you can buy. If you don't want to spend money, it is a long, painful click slog to advance at a turtles pace. Its like someone took Civilization, dumbed it down, and then modified it to extract as much revenue as possible from you. Neither fun, challenging, or rewarding.

I'm a longtime lover of the game and I am really GRATEFUL to the developers, the people who decide events and how to theme things, the insane amount of coding that must go into making everything work, and the people who listen to complaining gamers and then go FIX THINGS!!! I'm probably going to play this game forever and I love it.
