Update on the 4th made the game no longer load. Contacted company and was told they were aware of the bug and to wait for another update that would fix it. Now on the 9th latest update made it finally load. Unfortunately it erased a vast amount of my progress, to the point where I don't want to keep playing. I was fine with the progress per game as it was a fun way to pass some down time. Really disappointed because I made sure it was syncing each game so to avoid this problem.

Great game, very replayable. Requires a combo of skill and luck to be successful. Occasionally it will stop loading properly, especially after the app gets an updat, but uninstalling u0026 reinstalling fixes the issue every time in my experience. Pretty much everything is unlockable by playing, except for a couple characters and items, neither of which are needed to fully experience the game.

Good game. Similar to Slay the Spire, but different enough. I just wish you were able to skip adding cards after a battle. The music is also well done. Gets a bit grindy if you want to unlock all the characters. Overall I recommend it.

I had to re-edit my review. I played this in 2019 and I wasn't impressed because it was too punishing and micro transactions were how you won. Now it's completely worth the price. They reworked it and the strategies is so immense. Love it. I can't put my phone down it's so good

This game feels off balance and is too difficult to progress without paying more than the initial price. The art style is nice but for what you get it feels too limited. Not recommended.

I gave this game a 4 star review at first, but now I'm changing it to 1 star because it won't load on my phone now,, it just sits on the opening screen. Fix that problem and I'll change it up to 5 stars because I love the game but I paid money for it. EDIT OF REVIEW: I figured out my problem and now rate 5 stars because it's an awesome game!!

There is a very good deck building adventure game here but for a game you pay for, it's so grindy, it's clearly designed like that so you buy in game currency to speed up entertainment. Wish the person in charge took pride in the game rather than trying to squeeze every last drop out of what could have been a really good product. If anyone gives this game 5 stars, they only played it for a couple hours Max, love grindy repetition or is lying.

This game is one of those rare gems whose devs keep pushing new contents (including free content) over an extended period. The only drawback I found is each characters' deck is very small compared to the shared cards pool. This lowers the game replayability because you may have almost identical decks even when playing different characters.

The game is pretty decent. The grind can be a bit unbearable as it takes so many runs to get enough for a new hero or anything, and then you have to choose between all of those which takes you back to square one. It seems the pace starts to pick up a bit as it goes, but you have to get over that hump first.

This is definitely the best of this kind of tactical battle card game I've played yet! Game is only a buck and there's no Ads. Most everything is unlockable via coins earned from game play. Respectable In-App purchases to support the app. Also just a great looking, super addictve game the doesn't require internet to play (but needed for syncing saved games and making purchases). Have some fun, matees! ????????u200d☠️ Edit: I think the Carpenter character has the most lame starting deck ????

Painful progress Barely any replay value for the time u spend playing U earn 160 coins for beating the same 14 levels and fighting the same 8 enemies hundreds of times you need at least 2000 coins for any decent upgrades after you unlock the beginner characters Only on near perfect runs can you reach the next 14 battle milemark to get slightly more rewards so hard to unlock the good cards that it's not worth betting to get to the secondmark and potentially losing coins. Out of space for review

Great game. Clearly inspired by Slay the Spire but with enough tweaks to make it feel like a game in the same genre, not a clone. Tons of unlocks to keep things interesting. Good, cohesive art style, too! 2022 update reworked the few issues I had with this game. A+!

Easy to learn, difficult to master. There are alot of heroes and decks you can try and enjoy playing it. Multiple enemies and bosses you might encounter. If you like rogue like games + card games, this game is difinitly for you. I like the longevity of the game, i played several hours yet still i feel there are alot of things to try!

I've been playing since February and I can say with confidence now that I love this game like no other. It's an amazing (card game) that requires a good deal of luck and strategy, but never does it feel impossibly hard. (Edit) still playing and I still love it

The game is great, but the recent update messed up the launcher icon, it used to be a beautiful circle icon and after the update it's a ugly square in a white Circle. I didn't do any changes to my theme or os. Would've given it 5 Star if not for that

My favorite card rogue-like. It just feels great to play all these different characters wuth different styles of play. Different modes, quests to unlock exclusive cards, and just a unique look with tons of updates. I'd rather be playing right now, but my phone is still charging.

Very creative systems in the roguelike TCG space Edit: The balancing on the new questlines is really bad. I dont think these quests are winnable, even with a one in a million deck and item combo.

Overall a beautiful addictive game with enormous content to unlock, experience u0026 skill is needed to progress as well as tons of luck with the cards. There's a whole community out there analyzing everything if you want to dig further

Massive replay value, a year later I find myself opening it once and again to relax after Lunch at Job or on my commute to and from work. A very good game indeed! Absolutely love it Update 2022: still play it on a casual Basis a few times per week, with all the Updates since the replays value increased even more!

GAME no longer Works. Stuck on loading screen. Was able to launch it in airplane mode but lost all mu purchases. Do not spemd money on this game until this issue is fixed. Emailed them amd they replied within 1 hour explained what was causing the issue amd not it is fixed!

I wish I could give this a higher rating, as it is a great game, but devs which sell their product on a Google-based store, should make their games/apps properly fit the entire screens of Google-made devices.

Great game at its core. But the progress is virtually non existent so it finds itself becoming incredibly repetitive. It feels as though it was originally designed as a free to play game and they made a late decision to charge for it, but didn't change the in game economy or progression system. It's not that the game is too difficult. Just that the rewards aren't enough

First game review ever! I don't know how I stumbled across such a perfect game, but I did. Zero ads, and a few completely optional one-time purchases that are NOT pay-to-win. The art style is really pleasing, the pirate theme is fun, the multitude of play areas/characters/cards/relics/events/upgrades makes it infinitely playable, and as a deck builder it's very balanced. Unlocking cards as you go along makes the starting area take a long time to beat, but it was still really fun to do.

This game is so good if you have played slay the spire before. I will go as far as to say that this game, is definitely way better than slay the spire actually. There are so many charcters with different passives. So many quests and even more card combos. Different maps if you get bored of the same enemies. If i could change one thing, it would be the that the game is only playable is landscape, i really hope i can have the option to play in portrait mode. But otherwise, really impressive!

Enjoying this game. Few things that hold it back. 1. The placement of some buttons could be changed, like travelling on the map. 2. Multiple buffs and debuffs are not a thing. You could build a great deck but it'll never reach its fullest potential. 3. The drag and drop to select targets can be finicky. 4. There isn't enough information. So many possibilities for world building. 5. Biggest one. You can't suspend and resume a game. You have to finish it or fail, and that sucks.

I'd call this a "flawed classic." It's a fun, freshly-themed game that also requires a lot of grinding. Something enjoyable you can play once or twice a day for months on end, slowly making progress. The most intriguing part of the game is in building a deck out of useful card combinations... something that comes down to luck u0026 smart choices. My two main critiques are: 1) so many of the new cards you'll painstakingly unlock are only marginally useful at best, effectively diluting the future 'talent pool'; 2) a game that charges upfront and then charges again for unlocks and gold upgrades is just plain annoying. Better would have been to make it free, or alternatively, raise the initial price, get rid of the purchases, and make it a little easier to progress.

After 20 runs I get the feeling that this title has the potential to be kept in the games-to-keep folder. plays in many ways similar to slay the spire on stem. The progression is slow if you don't want to spend cash, but if you ok with that then I don't think it is too expensive for the fun you get from this game. One thing I would add is a button to chose not to take any card from the loot after the battles. ~ It's working fine now with the cloud saves, well done.

i think the overall production value is great, but the reward and progression system is so slow that you are forced into in app purchased if you want anything different. For example, completing one game gets you about 10 reputation, but it takes 2000 to unlock the next area! Also, the game is extremely difficult, the ammo system is interesting, but it is also very limiting, you can end up with multiple rounds where you are unable to do anything substantial. i will check for updates.
