I decided to install this despite the numerous bad reviews. The main complaint others have is bad match ups. So far I have yet to experience this, but will update if I do. The visuals are lovely, there's always something to do, more rewards to claim. You aren't limited to energy timers like a lot of mobiles. I have a bug that makes my screen black out after matches sometimes, making me restart, but that's it. And I'm on a real dinky phone lol. Fun game, will keep it around for a while

I find the game a much more simple type of MOBA. And i play it as such. It offers some customization for your build, but doesn't even compare to normal MOBA's. Which isn't necessarily a bad thing. It doesn't force you to go by the meta, or look up builds of certain Pokemons (though you can). I don't feel pressured to keep playing so i don't miss out on any drastic balance changes. Its what i want for a MOBA. Simple, yet challenging.

Really disappointed! The matchmaking is bad (teammates are mostly non-cooperative) and the game slows down so much during the match that it gets ruined, even though I have a stable and strong internet connection! Additionally, I can't play the offline mode because the screen freezes upon pressing the option. I have lost several matches consecutively already, thanks to these problems.

Overall, it's a good game. Although, there is one problem that I found and it's about your Surrender System. In short, if your enemy surrenders, that should mean you win right? Actually, no. Because even if your enemy surrenders, as long as they have more points than your team, they still win in the end. It's rather aggravating and cheating because the enemy can just surrender any time they want as long as they know they're on the lead. You guys should really fix as it's cheating and unfair.

It's very fun! There annoying is things about the game. when you reach expert, it gets hard to the point where everyone on the other team teams while your team does nothing to help. Also, when your doing an match and then you want to exit out of it it immediately gets you onto an team. Overall, it's very fun. What makes it even better is the way it's an work in progress!

The game is very good and I really enjoy it. But there are a few problems; It takes way to long for it to start a match, it shows estimated time alot less but ends up taking 1 or 2 minutes. Another problem is that you get very less coins from matches and most of the untie licensees are very expensive.

Huge fan of this game and find the various systems brilliant. However, as some other players have mentioned, the ranking system is not well thought-out: you can be MVP on the winning team with nearly 300 points scored and gain just 20 ranking points, but be the top player on the losing team and lose 85 ranking points. There is little consideration for how well individual players do on either team, making it incredibly frustrating for ranked matches.

I don't enjoy MOBA much. There is no sense of team-play among players. I end up defending the goalpost all by myself while 4 of the opponents destroy me along with the goalpost. Could you add 'quit/exit game' option for single player? Also, there should be a way to strategize with the team players before the match starts. Apart from that, the game is good and enjoyable most of the time. Good Job!

I think the recent update has a bug, specifically to the Hoopa event where everytime I clicked on the Ingredients, I can't click the Claim nor the exit button. So I was forced to click the home and restart the game, again and again. On the other side, I like how the new update on events became organized and eye-pleasing. I just hope the bugs will be fixed soon.

Took me a while to get into this game but I've really enjoyed it so far. The two things I want improved in the game is the quick chat in the pre game lobby and during the match to have more options more consistent balance patches. Definitely a stricter penalty system for people who go idle or leave during the match as this can literally mean you lose entirely

Fun overall. It's like a quick league of legends. Ranked needs fixing. Lanes need to be assigned. Before the match begins, players should be required to lock something in. Anything at all would help. At least there'd be an idea of what others are going to do. I can't stand having 4 teammates not declare a role and then find 3 people choose top and no centers. It's painfully frustrating. Also, death timers should be reworked. There's no reason you should miss the last minute of the game.

After a rough start, the game is getting more and more exciting. The match ups are a bit of a problem, but it's part of playing with randoms, to a certain degree. 4/5 rn is because, not only a few bugs and connection errors that take too long to reestablish, but also the lack of pokemons as Speedsters and Supports, besides the still rough reporting system and fair play point reduction. That being said, it's becoming quite addictive again and I'm glad it is. Keep improving!

Terrible experience if you want to play solo. A player 41% win rate can get to "masters" the highest rank, and no matter how high your mmr/elo, you can get matched with teammates that play like absolute beginners. Also, the ui is poorly designed; it is so easy to choose the wrong move in the heat of the moment because of how the buttons overlap, and doing so can basically ruin an entire match.

Pokemon are unbalanced. Some are OP, some are simply not enough. Matchmaking takes longer than it did in the beginning, I guess many stopped playing this. The social aspect of the game is really weak. It's hard to find friends and communicate in game with teammates. Gameplay gets repetitive after a while and there are no incentives to keep playing because the game doesn't feel competitive /serious enough. I reached top rank very easily very fast and then didn't have motivation to do it again.

Graphics are great! Controls are easy if you are a MOBA player. Its like a tower defense but more of a basketball themed like tower. Fun to play. One thing that I like is the character customization. Of course there is a skin system which they called holowear for pokemons. Theres a lot of events. Item upgrades was a kind of bias especially when you are a new player and your enemies are pros and has a lot of upgrades than yours, but its fine. Strategy is the key. Overall, its an awesome game! ;)

This game is enjoyable and frustrating at the same time. The one thing is that knocks it down is that the matchmaking is still terrible in rank matches. Half of the time with it is the pairing with my or opponents side are not in the same skill level, some are worse and some are better. It doesn't make it better when you fight a team of 5 in a solo, duo, or trio queue or the mixture of both. That is the main frustrating thing about it, but overall, the game is great and balanced for most part.

The game is impossible to solo carry by nature. It heavily punishes solo players, the system of scoring points and defending goals makes it impossible to win by yourself. If you try to score a goal and your team don't know how to defend you'll never win. And if you defend you'll still lose because there's 2 lanes to score and you can't be at both. There's no itemisation unlike other mobas so you can never capitalize on any lead. Only thing it has going for it is that it's a Pokemon game.

The game is great really, it just has a ton of annoying bugs that keep it from getting any better than it is right now. One of which would be the update bug I am facing right now. Whenever I update the game, I always have to reinstall it because it won't start after the update. I am just left with a quick black screen and then the game crashes. Please fix this bug and I will give my rating another star.

Players need alot of push to their ranks. We need fixed player Vs player who have same experience, I feel like im playing with bots who literally lag or something. Rewards, graphics, controls, everything amazing except for the things I was talking about up above. Season pass should literally be free even if FTP has loads because we work hard to reach lvl 60 and end up getting the trash rewards. You should keep the recent quick battle mode, it's amazing.

The game idea and everything is great, however my issue is at the start of the battle the game asks to sign in with my Google account and for permissions. It takes 2-5 minutes to do this since the pages take forever to load then I'm super far behind in fights which is just unfair. Also after a fight and I try to go to the main menu it just makes my whole screen go black, but I can still hear the music and press around.

A suggestion for the developers. Please raise the penalty cost for those who afk. It would be really helpfull. 10 points deduction won't help anything with the already bad match up the system had. I don't think the classic mode match up are based on ranks. I'm at veteran, yet still matched up with low leveled players, who does not even know their roles. It gets frustrating the more i play plus the trolls. This game is supposed to release stress, yet it only adding stress while playing it.

First, I have a network problem when I want to open the game. the app just stops at the first loading screen, never finishes. Even though my internet network has no problems. I have to restart the phone first to solve this problem. So when I finished playing this game and then closed it, did something else, then wanted to open the game again, I had the same problem over and over. This is very inconvenient. This is a wonderful game, I play it every day and maybe a little too much, honestly. I am excited for when they add many more characters later, because right now it's a weird group. To name a few, there's Mr. Mime, Garchop, Cinderace, and Absol. Very strange and seemingly random, but still good. The game rarely glitches unless there's bad internet, and the graphics are very good and clean. Sure it sucks when you get a bad team, but that's not the games fault.

Matchmaking kills this game. In ranked your team doesn't know what it's doing and if you play against one that does then you might as well forfeit if your team even votes to. In standard battles at least 1 teammate goes idle. It's not bad to lose but it's frustrating when your teams not even trying. They go to the opponent at their goal zone and try to fight a 2 v 1 with a major disadvantage. This is in mid to high ranked. Matchmaking needs an overhaul.

The game is very detailed. The pokemon models are beautiful and perfect. The effects of lights, shadows, powers are very well done. I only have one complaint: The offline mode doesn't work. For me the screen freezes and it doesn't go back to normal anymore. Please, fix this error.

This game needs a lot of work to do. First of all, all the stats are purely qualitative. I haven't read a single quantitative value written in the stats description. Not for the moves, the passives, the base stats, the held items, nothing. Second, the in game interface is terrible. There is no fixed joystick so the accuracy of movement is abysmal. The upgrade move button overlaps with the battle item button. Third, this is a subjective one. The colors are so tacky, even toddlers hate it.

I have a full connection and yet when I play ranked match, everything is going well until the choosing of Pokémon but then after the game is about to start, it freezes and sometimes glitches as well due to which it looks like I became afk and we lose most of the times. This happens sometimes and I cannot play it properly so plz fix this. Also I cleared the cache but it still happens.

The voice chat is an improvement in the communication part, but is rarely used. A chat function would be much better, just add some censor to prevent cursing. The matchmaking had gotten worse though. I used to get matches within seconds but now it takes at least a minute, and even then I get matched with AIs despite being ranked 'Master'. It's a big inconvenience and a dampener to the fun of the game, please fix this.

Edit: Game crashes again with the new update! :/ EDIT: The game now doesn't open after the newest update... It was working then after a few hours, it can't be opened... ORIGINAL: The developers made a right choice with the 10 hour maintenance! The release was smooth and no crashing happened. The gameplay is wonderful and controls are simple to use. I think they transitioned the controls well. A good game for Pokémon fans and people who want to pass the time.

Addictive game. But usually lag at ranked matches. Character keeps freezing and very slow response from moves. Quick matches are great, haven't faced any issue so far. Everything else is fantastic, just utterly disappointed with how I'm losing ranked matches due to lag issues.

The game is exciting and fun, but the player match-making really sucks. You've got to hustle your way up the ranking system or get dragged down by your lower-ranked teammates (most likely). Also, sometimes the controls become unresponsive or delayed. Such a waste of a game with great potentials. Update: The game got worse. It suck!

I would like to talk about the fair play points. So with some players on this game when they play they are on a bad device and sometimes it will close the app and you cant get back in until it's too late then we get a penalty, which I don't believe is fair to players with bad quality devices. Like with my device I am on currently, when I go to get on it's a bit laggy and slow but I play anyways except for when I play and it decides to close the game.

PROS - The game has really good potential. Probably one one the best games to introduce new players to MOBA games. CONS - 8/10 games suffer disconnection issues. - UI is clunky and has very low response time (like 1-1.5 seconds after a button press) even when on non-arena screens. - Really frustrating to come back to play after an experience of game freeze at pivotal moment in the game. Hope the dev team would bring it back in good shape.

Great game overall but please do something about the characters. They're not balanced at all, for exemple Lucario is just broken while some others like Cramorant and Trevenant (witch is sad because I love them) are garbage. And please improve the switch version and the interface. Just checking the skins of a character can cause the game to crash. I love this game but please do something.

I wish there were a leave the match option after which the necessary points would be deducted along with the surrender option. It's a bit irritating to just close the game and then reopen because the teammates aren't doing anything of value..... Other than that, game's good, no major flaws I that can see it point out. I gave this game a 5 but since the last update I can't use it (I have updated it and uninstalled and installed it 2 times thinking that could fix the error but it didn't). It says "network error" anytime I try to play it, it doesn't matter if I'm using my WiFi, my data or someone's else WiFi, it won't charge. Even if it says it's 100% charged, it never reaches to the "START" screen

-The UI post battle when calculating points seems a bit err, not pleasing to the eyes. Always more room for improvement. Not really much to say about the unique mechanics if the game. Theres also nothing more complex about it at the same time, which makes it a really simple game and you really have to rely on your pokemons skills and held item and not your own player skills since you cant do complex builds cause there is no item build feature in game. Overall its a great game.

this is bad. i cant log in, it keeps saying network error (i checked my network MANY times). then i decided to update it. when i updated it, IT KICKED ME OUT OF THE GAME! pls fix it. its a great game tho.. and here are some things wrong with the game: - afk players -when you lost in a match, our opponents/teammates (or both) are bots - bad matchmaking -stuck in the loading - network error thats all i want to say. thanks, Pokèmon Community! A great game and it's improving with every update. There have been many fun, seasonal events and there's a good variety of characters to play with. Some characters seem more powerful than others and some roles also could use new additions. Many people in these reviews complaining about ranked matches/"unfair" matchmaking need to understand that you can't expect to win every game. You just need to learn to play better and adapt to different situations in match.

So far I'm loving this game on my android phone. However on my iPad it keeps crashing and I can figure out why. I've tried all sorts of "fixes" from a quick Google search and nothing it working. Really annoying because I'd like to be able to play with my kids but they keep getting "fair play penalties" because they go after mid battle when the game crashes! It's super annoying!
