Beautifully animated, with a story actually worth following. looking forward to finding out if it holds up to the incredibly strong start. EDIT: story drops off almost immediately, and beginning to run into hard walls in terms of energy to continue grinding. Still not the worst out there, but definitely showing signs of a poor experience.

This game had me hooked right away, I even spent about $30 for extras the first week. However, within the next few days I hit a wall in pretty much all progression. I have to grind for materials to level up my heroes, and being destroyed in even the regular campaign levels. This has drained my enthusiasm for the game, and I seriously hesitate to spend anything more when my last few purchases have hardly helped me advance. I'm an experienced gamer, something is seriously wrong with the mechanics.

It's the same ol' story. You don't pay you can't play. These summon type games don't have a non-spending option to get the heroes (4* and up) to succeed (even with spending it's a gamble). After the first couple of level/stage it's just plain frustration. It's a shame, because with fair access to better heroes to everyone it would be an awesome game. But the money part -as always- ruins everything.

Fun challenging game! The level of difficulty gradually hits the anecdotal paywall, but that's when you need to decide if you're going to pay, or invest your time in grinding to improve your warriors. I've seen a lot of improvents in the UI and events over the past few months. However, last night's update is negatively affecting the app's performance (most noticeable during the battle sequence). Still playable, but it does affect the level of enjoyment of what is otherwise a great game.

Totally not what I expected. The game is definitely not F2P friendly, the progress is slow right from the start. Action Points? They eat much of it. Even levelling up characters has become a chore. It gives you the task to log in daily just to give you free exp just to level up your champions. Despite of that, I like the gameplay. Hence, three stars.

Only good thing about this game is the art!! I get a loading screen (Connecting...) every time I click on ANYTHING on the screen. Even if I'm just checking messages, or seeing achievements, or checking out my roster of heroes... EVERY DAMN TIME that "Connecting..." screen shows up in these transitions, and it takes a full friggin minute to go away. Seriously disappointed at this game's server and connectivity issues. It will piss you off so bad that you too will uninstal. Hard pass!

Storyline is good. I don't like that you must match at the physical area of the enemy to hit them. There is no real indication for turn length. Matching combos don't carry over to the next wave but get wasted instead. There is no real indication of enemy type. Overall the gameplay is basic but terrible and the animations during fights take away from the overall fight.

With the recent update, the game crashed when I activated 2 special attacks on the same turn. The problem? I lost the energy for the campaign stage I was playing. It's a dealbreaker. I hope it can be fixed; otherwise I'd feel sad for having spent on the game. Also, the game is nothing like the ads I've seen....

storywise it's really good. But like every app it's a pay as you go game. You got to put money in it in order to advance as fast as you want. there are freebies and you don't have to pay for anything. It just takes up energy. also the voice characters are pretty loud. I can tell that some of them are.. newer to the art of voice overs lol. other than that I do like the artwork and the heroes.

It's ok, but once you use up your energy, there's really nothing to do. Most of the packages you can purchase are also overpriced as hell and offer so little in return. The gameplay is pretty basic, though the art looks good, and the story is generic but decent. Overall, if you're looking for a short passtime it's fun, just don't expect much else.

Very entertaining. Basically like all other match 3 fantasy games, but this one is improved by having voice actors! No, really! And it has dragons you need to care for. The graphics are really nice. Not as "itty bitty" as other versions. *Update*:The voices go away after a while. Boo! It all ended up getting too confusing, and so I uninstalled it. The two "OG" Small Giant games still give pleasure, and MythWars is ok too, for no pay out peeps.

It's one of the best mobile games I've ever played. The only complain is that I wish there was more energy to play the game. Game time is too stingy, and I know that the more i level up, the more energy I get, but still, it's too little. They don't even have ads option to get more energy. You can progress without paying but just need LOTS OF PATIENCE to wait for those energy to fill up lol

The game is fun, has a nice art style und keeps you engaged with the typical upgrade and progression systems. Going to play more. //Edit: After a bit more time. The PvP is the worst I have ever seen in any game. Arena or Guild Wars. They are dominated by overpowered heroes... Or worse... Just random luck or the lack of. World PvP in any mmorpg is more fun and balanced. Just that this here is no fun at all. Also the walls in PvE can be quite annoying but nothing you can't solve.

Typical pay to win game. Challenges, and campaign levels that are next to impossible to beat without spending. Level objectives stay the same regardless of difficulty level. If you want to have a decent experience be prepared to spend. Such a shame. The game has a ton of potential.

Updated review 4 to 5 stars after playing. Devs have done something great here. It is largely pay to win still (like any similar game) but it does it so much more generously. Guaranteed 5star heroes after 85 summons, solid season passes, well priced gem passes. Huge variety of heroes. Upgrading heroes is difficult but doesn't feel too sluggish. Campaign is very challenging and you are left stuck for long periods but with all challenge events there is loads to do. I encourage devs to keep going!

Extremely P2W. The game is fun in the beginning, but it quickly starts to take weeks, sometimes more than a month, to get the necessary ascension items to increase a hero's level cap. Same goes for weapons. So you'll quickly get stuck at fights you're too underleveled to beat and then spend a month grinding to progress, only to quickly get stuck again five fights later. Unless you open your wallet, of course. The game has no ads, but is riddled with "limited time" offers for IAPs. Edit after response: Why can't you "take note of my feedback" here?

It's a great game and I love playing it. I HATE "fighting" in the arena. Unless you fighting someone at least 3 levels below you, it's impossible to win. You only get 1 move, and unless things fall just right you only get that move while other player gets to use all their heros to attack. You can't do anything while they're attacking. It also takes forever to level up any hero once you get to 120 because you need so many of each item that you can only get from defeating titans once a day.

This is definitely pay to play, or at least to get to the top. Very well created if you like match and rpg. Character skills could use a boost, doesn't appear that the level of the skill increases anything like damage or avoidance. It should be easier to summon 4u00265 star characters, if your gonna charge us unlock all of the characters. #whatiwantinagame

this game is awesome, characters have great skills but, items can be bought or farmed. the problem with this type of games is the animation! the animation is amazing but so so so slow and long and there's no option without it if you're not bothered to lose a bunch of times because the animation takes the fight time, this is the game for you!

Nice RPG game with combination of Match-3 puzzle and building simulator. Developers has done really great job on gameplay, story narration, heroes' background stories. The game is mostly bug free and offers many events along with alliance war to upgrade your heroes. The only issue I have is that the game is different than what was shown in ads and screenshots on Playstore. Nice promotional startegy but it would have been awesome if the game also contains mini puzzles as shown in ads.

Super easy to play. In a quest to waste my life at times this does the trick. Similar to the other games in the genre, but the art work and effects are more eye-catching.The characters are awesome, everyone with their unique bio, some of them are really dramatic, which shocked me at first! Need to mention that it's been very nice to players early on too. A good introduction to the main plot, which teaches new players very quickly and makes it clear how to play. Although, the rewind function for experienced players would be quite useful. Devs team you should think about adding one!

I have enjoyed playing this game. The strategic moves you make to achieve goals in the game are both time consuming but a whole lot of addictive fun. A few draw backs though. You don't get 5 star characters using the daily free option. You get the up to 4 star and a lot of repetive 2 and 3 start which awaken the characters. Once you upgrade the characters to level 120, it's impossible to upgrade them without spending money. The graphics are good but some of the voices are a bit creepy.

Great sound and animations, more involved story than other match 3 hero games. Overall more fun than similar games. Still just as much a game based on microtransactions and incentives to spend again and again but you can still play and enjoy totally for free if you're not competitive with other players and just playing to have some fun. After playing more. I'm constantly getting "connecting..." pop up on the screen halting play for 15-20 seconds at a time. Making it hard to enjoy the game now.

While the game felt intimidating to learn at first, I caught on by playing a little at a time. People complain about not being able to level up, but if you are here to seek instant gratification, there is a pay option. For the others who enjoy the play, this game is actually quite generous with its reward system such that people can progress with no money. It just takes time. A "sell" feature would be nice but a graphically and musically beautiful game that is actually very memorable and fun.

This is one of the best match RPGs I've seen, interface and graphics are great, cool style, and they definitely put alot of work into the story and hero backgrounds, which most of these games don't. Usually they start out with a story and it last 5 levels then it's just forgotten. So good job there. The reason I am giving it 3 stars is the pay wall. The WORST pay wall I've seen. Literally you get to a point where even after dropping hundreds of dollars you can't advance. Really frustrating.

Fun, and I'll rate it 5 later if that doesn't change. Edit: still very fun, and there's plenty to do, but there is a definite wall. Presumably, you should be able to progress up to the point where the level power and yours are the same, and you just have to play enough times and correct to get past...don't look for this to happen. You will need to slowly grind out the reagents to level up through events etc before you are even close to getting them in the campaign. Can be done for free though.

Very fun and easy to play, yet involved enough to hold interest, honesty time fly fast. Don't lose yourself too much in it! Game has an amazing soundtrack too! Reminds me of the one from LOTR! A nice mix of the genres, well put together, and this isn't so common in such games. My respects to the development team. Sometimes there are difficult, challenging battles but the final reward fit for the challenge. So don't hesitate and give this one a go, believe me you won't regret it.

At first the game worked fine, then recently it started crashing and freezing. It's very frustrating. it freezes at the 3rd min mark during the hard challenges. It happened a few times. In another instance I used a Tear of Ancestors to summon a hero and got an error msg that said invalid parameter and didn't get the hero. I sent a note to tech support and I'm getting the run around. Just replace replace the thing u0026 stop wasting time. Worst part was it froze during Alliance War got 0 points.

Tutorial is taking a long time but story is interesting Edit: story is still good, but considering how long the tutorial is - not a lot of features are actually explained. I've played similar games in the past and while this one holds my attention better it is also much slower paced. Can't wait to be able to play some more in a few hours...

The core game it self is ok, once you get to the 4th check point of the game it gets really hard to progress. You drain your stamina so fast and you regain it really slowly to where you can play the game for about 5 minutes and your done. The hero progression is absurd and makes no sense to me. Why can't we just get the item we need to level our heros. The summoning is the biggest scam I have ever seen. The rewards for clearing hard level are extremely low. Not worth playing.

Novel ideal for an adventure / puzzle game. have noticed a few small bugs or oops in the game so far, such as getting the red dot on like the castle, but open it up and there's nothing to indicate what to select. or coming to a flash back and not knowing it till you try to make an option that's not allowed

Not even two hours into this game and I'm already waiting on timers and constantly running out of energy. This game is very stingy with important resources and it becomes a problem very quickly. Difficulty ramps up fast, so you have to level up characters, which means grinding stages. But sweep tickets are scarce and energy is frustratingly low. Nope. Not putting up with that nonsense, not matter how good the artwork is.

After 3 days, I'm already obsessed! Great game. Much prettier u0026 intuitive than Eu0026P, whose UI is so crowded I can't find anything. I hope we have some uses for 2 star heroes in the future ) Maybe exclusive challenges u0026 so on, or the possibility to evolve them. So far, this is the only thing that upsets me in this game that I can't properly give them a try. I'm really enjoying this game. Thanks for giving me something to do on my off time during the pandemic. Helps to forget about everyday problems for a while.

Brilliant game, wonderful graphics, lovely music, ascending heroes is my new mission in life. But I’m about a week in and found the champion mode a bit too challenging at time. I do like the alliance events a lot and hope to see more of it, maybe we can even get BOSS or training arena. And please add some new levels to the Tower of Courage and the main campaign! So far the game has been good, just need feew more optimizations. But believe me, f2p is absolutely possible in that game, just need some time!

Simply put: beautiful graphics, ordinary mechanics, non-existent story, slow gameplay, expensive. While graphically astounding, in the end it is but an expensive clone of Empiresu0026Puzzles: a nondescript storyline, a simple, borderline primitive, Match-3 core, same 3+2 elements synergy. The dragon system is cool, but not actually a gamechanger, also upon seeing its animation for 10th time you want a way to turn it off. Then, the paywall is so close that you barely have any time to enjoy the game for free.

The game is a lot of fun, the energy gain is really slow, but that at least gives down time. My biggest issue really is the pop aspect, while optional of course, it does give bonuses to do it. However I've noticed the AI's mana gain is so incredibly fast that I almost require a full team of fast mana gain to have a chance. This becomes extremely transparent when the mana gain increases for both sides, and the AI team is using 4 abilities to my 1

so far so good. haven't hit a paywall yet, though it's still early Edit: wow, level 3 and the pay wall has arrived. It's fun, but only if you want to spend money. Otherwise, you'll need patience and basically barely be able to actually pay the game while waiting and waiting to gather enough material to level up your characters. Or you get really lucky in the Raid rip off summoning. Either way, I wouldn't recommend to non paying players. You've got too much money, then by all means... spend!

I've loved this game since I started playing. Very enjoyable one, not too hard, but not too easy either. It's so relaxing to fight against a bunch of monsters before starting the day or after work. Often both by the way. Can say that I'm hooked on it!❤️ ⚔️ It’s a beautiful merging of a few different old mobile games I used to play heavily, however, the design is more pleasing to the eye, so well done team! Quickly give me new heroes and please easy the way to get 5* heroes and weapons. Good luck!

I've seen a few people complaining that it's too hard to progres even after spending lots of money on the game. I'm hear to tell you that is NOT true. This has been the first mobile game I've actually played and I'm still loving it. You have to grind to amass resources but the daily missions and campaign are pretty generous and allot of fun! I've totalled 2×5 star heroes, over a million gold and leveling potions, 4 star weapons so far. It's doable and fun!

So after playing this game for a while here are some pros and cons. Pro: Great graphics, good game play, challenging, plenty to do. Cons: like most gotchas the draw rate sucks, it's hard to earn gems to draw, and takes a bit to level up if you plan to play for free. It's doable, just takes a while to level up.
