Garden Joy on Android

I liked this game at first, but similar to other games like this it's just about money. As you progress the challenges require more and more of what you don't have so you have to spend coins or diamonds but diamonds are quite difficult to come by unless you buy them. The rates of the designs also seem to get lower and lower the higher level you go, despite having good designs. It's fun for awhile but it just becomes a cash grab.

Enjoying the game. It's actually relaxing. I really like that it give all the information about the plants used in the game. Update: I still love playing the game but I feel the plant and tree filters could be a little bit better. Meaning they could be a little bit more detailed. Example to help near down the trees and plants by specific areas to make it a little easier to go through. I enjoy reading about each plant but it can get a bit much trying to find the plants that are native to an area.

Loving this game. Part of me feels it's a bit pay-to-win, if you want the good stuff, but it's nothing a bit of patience can't fix, to collect coins and diamonds. Oh, and you'll also need a decent phone if you don't want to deal with a laggy experience. An option to turn down the quality, with something like a "render" button when you're done, to preview, would be great.

I usually love this app! But today I couldn't purchase the flooring after trying several times. I then went into the info of the chosen flooring and I tried purchasing it with the "Buy In Game" button and that didn't work either. Then after leaving the designs I was busy with voting and a whole lot of coins deducted from my total when I received a 250 coins for a vote . As far as I can see I have no new items or flooring added to my inventory. Please could this be rectified?

I love this game, but the update that was released on 9/2/24 has problems! The title screen starts flashing like a strobe light sometimes and loads extremely slow when it flashes. It also flashes sometimes when. I vote and it doesn't give me the coins for voting. Also freezes up. I never had any issues with anything before that update.

Very addicting if you like designing. I have 2 accts.. It reminds me of the Design Home app. I used that a few years ago many hours every day. Turns out that I was right, the apps are related. You have to be willing to spend a little bit of money if you want to be able to get high scores on your designs. But I highly recommend this app if you're a creative person with some time on your hands. I simply love it! I'm using the design home app again also!

Generally nice - I really enjoy the lack of rankings and competition, and some of the designs are really fun. But there's way too much furniture (and most of it is hideous), especially with the new sofa and side table categories, and not nearly enough plants for a game called Garden Joy. Also, frankly, the scaling and sizing is frequently ridiculous. If a dogwood tree won't fit in a space, a maple tree won't either!

I love this game. I wish it didn't take so long to get new challenges. It's like I get to play for an hour and wait 8 for more. I wanna play it all day! Edit: I haven't been able to open the game in iver a week. I've force stopped, closed and reopened, restarted my phone, everything. It opens to loading and never goes more than half way, stops at the same spot every time.

Love this game. Very relaxing and fun to pick all the kinds of plants to coordinate around decor. Gives you something to think about when picking them for a real garden. Only thing I would love to suggest is scaling for some of it - example - I was placing a water lily in a pond and it was so distant in the scene I could barely see it. That is all though, the graphics are great and the gameplay is bug free. 5 stars - definitely recommend for a casual game.

This was my favorite design app until the Aug. 8 2024 update. Right after that it was having problems loading because it couldn't detect a wifi connection, even though there was a strong one. Then, when it would load, it began force closing, and now my phone has put it into deep sleep mode after analyzing it and saying the app is "buggy" and not to attempt to use it until it is updated again. Help, devs!

It's was one of my favorite games. Great graphics and designing ideas. Never had a problem until it did the most recent update. Now, I'm not only not getting the free diamonds or coins when logging in or voting, but at one point, I purchased diamonds, and the game took more than half of the diamonds to purchase an item. Now, it will not log in completely. Says it can't detect wifi. It will not show my correct coins, diamonds, gardening status, or projects. Hope this is fixed soon.

Love the game! Would love to have more designs per day. Also, I would love a "back button" When choosing items, it is easier to make changes. Also, I would love a few minutes after submitting to change the design before final submission, just in case. Being able to keep some of the items purchased with real money would be a game changer. That is all :)

Enjoy designing gardens, and it's awesome that you can plant real trees too. A challenging garden designing game that you get to vote for your favorite designs, and earn coins in the process. The daily challenge has no requirements so it's all your own creative design. I recommend this game. I've only listed a few of the pros for the game. There are other pros that you will discover when you install and play this game.

Has some glitches, and slow or no scrolling issues on certain screens; overall it is fun. Could have more options for free coins/diamonds which is a constant currency that is needed for continuous game play. But the designs are varied, there are competitive factors that make it interesting and entertaining. It also has a good amount of team play stuff and join-your-friends.

It's your typical home design/makeover game. You are given items to choose from, then choose the items in those places. You are given a ton of options, but have to buy a limited amount of each item (5). You don't get "voted" well if you don't buy more items, but buying requires currency. Currency requires money. The structure of this type of game had me stressed from minute one. I deleted after 3 "challenges"

Not a fair game..... The game is very enjoyable and fun at first. Then the voting. On an on. You see the voting is what gets you to certain tiers in the game. I have made designs, that later when I looked, were identical almost to top players...yet I received such a low score that it pulls my score down and take me ages to get it back up. They place level 38 against level 6. Voting seems definitely fishy. Scopely will not address you unless it's a "technical" issues.

This game is called Garden Joy, but unfortunately the joy is taken away very quickly. The concept of the game is brilliant and can potentially give you hours of beautiful designing but the twist eventually gets to you. It is heavily based on spending real money if at all you want to progress as 80% of the items needed are based on diamonds which are hard and slow to get. There are ways to earn them through accessing third party app, but again it's very limited for certain players and countries.

It's a decent game and fun to play. But the plants are often wrong. The makers don't seem to have any idea what variegated, evergreen, deciduous, etc., mean. That's frustrating. Also, many are the wrong size completely. So a plant that's usually 8' tall will be in the small plants and be smaller than a 3' tall plant. Don't even get me started on the seeds. Ugh. ????

I loved this game, but The recent update is a no for me. I don't like how you got rid of clubs and now we have "friends". In the events, I always get stuck with people who don't contribute as much as me, so I never complete the 3 parts. I cant help but think this has to do with how expensive the items are though. I myself have no longer spend money on diamonds bc they go so fast. Not to mention I can't grow items in collections I have completed already. Collections was my favorite feature.

I really love this design app, all except never having enough diamonds to keep up with all I need to make great designs. I wish more things like fountains, masonry, rugs, potted plants, and wall u0026 table decor could be purchased with coins instead of diamonds. I could spend hours designing if I didn't run out of things so quickly. I enjoy voting on other designs, and I look forward to seeing how well my designs do.
